I bought these in size 8 and they fit me perfectly! (I'm 5'7, 130 lbs). They are so lightweight and stretchy and durable. I liked them so much, I ordered a second pair - different color, same size- and they are slightly too tight. Not so tight that I need to return them, but I feel like I somehow got a size smaller despite the tag saying 8. Why the inconsistency!?!?

I have several pair of these pants in a sz 4 that I bought a few years ago. I wanted a looser pair for hiking. I ordered a sz 6. These are smaller than my 4's!!!!! Columbia, get better sizing control with these. Really disappointed.

These are good pants. The fit was good, though not as comfortable as my other pair of Columbia hiking pants. Not a huge fan of the snap closure.

I'm new to full-length hiking pants since I prefer to hike in warmer weather, but an upcoming trip pushed me to search. I have long legs and a wide waist with a flat butt so most pants don't fit well. I ordered a size up in hope of fitting my waist since that mattered most to me. Turns out it was a little too big (especially in the hips) and I exchanged it for my true size. I'm 5'9" and the regular length worked perfectly for me. They're so light weight! I'm even tempted to order another color.

Pants are very comfortable. I have bigger hips and thighs but small waist, so I had to order a size down to fit my waist property. Pant legs are very stretchy so it was no issue.

These pants are super comfortable and I love the light lichen color I purchased. Unfortunately, these run very small and I will need to exchange them for a larger size. I am 5'9 and 155 pounds and I ordered a size 8 long. I have other Columbia pants in similar styles in a size 8 and that is also my jean size, and these are very clearly running small in the waist area. I will be trying the next size up thought because I love that these are offered in long sizing and can be rolled up without ease.

Great pants that are lightweight with a little stretch. I had to size up one size. 5'3.5" 117lbs and a size 6 fits perfect

I ordered these pants in a size 2 because I am a petite build they fit perfectly except for where they button on my waist they are a bit snug. The pants came with a longer pant leg option I just chose the regular option and they reach my ankles but could be a little longer other than that the pants are super comfy, breathable and absorbent perfect for a out door activities in snow or heat. They also look very flattering on. I give them 4 out of 5 starts just because they could fit better.

These run true to size for me, I'm 5'6" and 170. They're not "natural waist" for me as I'm high-waisted but they're very close. The stretch is good. My 8S iPhone is a "just fits" in the back pocket and would fall out in a front pocket. Not sure why we can't get real cargo pants with working pockets.

Love these hiking pants. The stretch of the fabric makes them fit well and feel comfortable. Fabric repels moisture and holds up to sitting and kneeling on the ground while camping. The only catch is watch out for prickers as they will snag your pants.

I hike "hot" so I need clothes that will help me stay cool. These pants are as close as I can come to cool and still be covered! I have 8 pairs. I order a size up because I find that through the hip and thigh they are more snug than what is decent. Wish they were not slim cut in this area as sizing up leaves the waist just a tad loose. But when you are pear shaped you learn to adjust. I also like that the waist comes just about to the navel. Wish it came to it or just above but that is just how pants fit me the best. I suggest the pants are worth a try if you have been difficult to fit before.

great fit, inseam a bit short (contrary to what is implied by the photo) and i could have used a long but the height is fine with boots. extra feature of straps with snaps to roll up pant leg to shorter hight.

the pants are nice, lightweight and great for hiking. However, the side zipper pocket is too small. I don't have a large cellphone and it won't fit in the pocket. Defeats the purpose of a secure pocket.

Loves these pants. Super comfy and I can definitely see myself wearing them to work, climb, or to hike (once everything is back to normal!) Haven't tried out water repellent features yet, so hopefully that will work out well.

I like the feel of the pant!

I have other Columbia Saturday Trail pants from several years ago. These new ones are soooooo much smaller than the last size 6 L I ordered. After trying on this new size 6L, and seeing how tight they were in the waist, I am returning them and ordering a 10L. There is absolutely no give in the waist, but the rest of the pant is stretchy. I always wear a size 4 in other pants; I am 5'7' 125 lbs and wear a 27" waist jean. I love these pants; especially my old ones, but the sizing of these particular pants is way off!

Comfy, flexibility availability, nice pockets

I love these pants but the fit is very small. I normally take a 6 but ordered an 8 after reading the reviews and they are still very tight. I will have to exchange them for a 10. I hope the 10 fits because I really like way they look.

The sizes run a little small, especially if you want to wear leggings underneath the pants. Since they are lightweight and thin, you might want to go up one size, as the bigger size (which fits fine without additional layer) would give you the option of wearing leggings/tights underneath.

I really did like these pants a lot, ordered my size Medium and unfortunately they fit way too small in my waist and I had to return them. Otherwise, great material and nice cut.

Run a size small.

Love how your pants actually fit a womens shape. No back gap. Comfortable fit. My only complaint is no ankle zippers to fit over hiking boots.

I wish I can keep this pants, but I am curvy and the fit does not work for me. Otherwise I can tell that it is a great hiking pair.

I love the material and how light weight these are. They are a little tight compared to another pair of pants I have from Columbia that are the same size but I think a size up would be to big. Other than the waist, they fit perfect everywhere else.

Sized up, and they worked well. I love these pants. After 5 years my old pairs were wearing out, and I needed a bigger size—hey, I grew. I went up 2 whole sizes from those, one because I went up from a 6 to an 8, and the other based on reviews saying to order up. The 10s fit me perfectly. I love how easy these pants are to move around in. I use them for travel, for work, for hiking. I scored 3 pair on sale. Very glad to have them. They wash up well and I line dry them for no shrinking or pilling. They dry pretty quickly which is a plus for travel. I love the little zip pocket on the thigh, fits my phone perfectly. Have tried many hiking pants but always come back to Columbia Saturday trail for their versatility.
