Ordered a 9 and my foot barely fit in, went to get a 10 and they are out of stock. Additionally, I had to pay to ship them back.. which doesn't seem right considering there is a 100% guarantee.

These run a half to whole size too small. I ordered these because my husband has the men's version of these and they are warm. After reading the reviews, I am concerned that they will fall apart after a year and North Face won't care.

Good looking boots just run very small and a bit to heavy for everyday wear.

Very attractive boot! I bought them for snow camping. I think they will work if I double up on socks. They are not as insulated as I expected.

Wish these would've been great but something with the R boot dug into my ankle bone, where the leather meets the fur trim. The L boot was great, no break in time needed. After wearing them around the house for an hour, decided I have to return them. Can't imagine dealing with sub zero temps and a boot digging into my ankle. Ordering another pair to see if this pair was defective.or not. Otherwise, good warm sturdy boots.

Although I had these boots for several years, I didn't use them that much. They were still in optimal conditions. Finally got a chance to wear them this morning and after few minutes of walking the rubber cracked all over the top in the front part of the boots. I understand that time can wear off things but I'm just surprise that this happen to this brand. I will buy them again only if I know that I'm going to wear them often...

I ordered half a size up to have room for thick socks, and they feel like 2 sizes up.

The Chilkat 400 really does run small. I typically wear a size 4 shoe and these boots were snug on me. They fit, but with no extra room for wool socks and little space in the toe box.
I liked the styling. The Chilkat looked in person a bit more like a stylish hiking boot than a clunky cold weather pair.
I was disappointed in the cushioning, or rather lack of cushioning, of the Chilkat. It seemed I could feel the floor through the sole. Compared to the comfy Yukiona I also tried, the Chilkat had no cushioning at all.
For the lack of cushioning and the too snug fit, I returned the Chilkat 400s

It’s too bulky. It’s good for heavy snow but not for fashion.

Is it just me or does it seem that every shoe made does not have the consistency and quality of shoes in recent history? Are they being outsourced and made in some far away country where everyone is making things so cheap and hiring the cheapest labor who cant make a correct cut or sew the right way or give a darn about their job because they're being paid pennies of what they deserve.
The clothing apparel industry as a whole has become so cheapened. what happened to cotton? must we wear plastic? It's really sad!

I ordered a 10 1/2 and usually wear a 9 1/2 or 10 shoe size 40. The boot is very padded and over a bit of time in the boot my feet were so restricted they became numb. Not good for a cold weather boot. I am trying to replace my old NF boots and I was so disappointed these did not fit and are a half size larger in a similar style boot. I am also concerned about the reviews about the product cracking. That is what happened with my old boots which split across the rubber boot during our first snow in Raleigh, NC. You did not have the size 11 to try so I will be purchasing other boots.
I would love to have another North Face boots, I love the extra support and warmth but you have to have room for the foot in the boot.

The picture of the shoe in terms of color and style are a bur different. The dark color that is on the small oval portion kf the shoe as pictures is actually the color on the entire show. So it is a lot darker in person than pictured. Also, they look like they would be a lot smaller in the picture than they turned out in person. Definitely look bulkier in person. Not quite what I expected for 150 dollars.

I haven't used the boot, yet, but it is really really small. My other North Face similar boot is the same size I ordered (8 1/2) and so I ordered a 9 and that didn't fit so now I am onto 9 1/2 or 10. I am going through all this probably because this is the only boot that meets my needs (light and warm).

My husband purchased these for me for my birthday and although I like the style and look they are a bit heavy for everyday wear or even a hike. I ended up exchanging them for a lighter weight boot.

The boots themselves look so cute and adorable online. However, when I got them they were huge looking (appearance wise, not fit). I compared them to my snowboarding boots and they were just about the same look. They are big and bulky would be my warning, you really couldn't tell the difference between my snowboarding boots and these. I wear a size 10 and ordered a 10.5 because of the other reviews and the shoes were too big for me (separate from appearance). The boots seemed warm for the short time I had them on. However, if you are looking for something like the picture, be warned these shoes did not make my already big feet look any smaller.

There is lots of inside cushioning, a little excessive I think, and much bulkier looking on than in the picture. Love the color, but they also fit at least a full size too small, depending on what kind of socks you plan to wear.

I ordered a 10, maybe I need a 10½ but toes were pushed up to the toe of the boot which is turned up a bit. The toes are forced forward because the boot comes up a bit higher on the ankle and all the material is quite stiff. The boot started to hurt my ankles when I walked, and my heel would come up. My toes then would hurt from being pushed into the toe of the boot. When not moving, I felt like I had a lot of room. I put on thick wool socks. When I had thinner socks, there was too much movement of my foot. A wider toe is better for me. So I would say these run a bit small and I am returning for comfort reasons. I do not think a larger size would help.

Too bulky for what I was looking for. Great for snow and cold weather but not a everyday boot
