I wore these shoes while hiking with my family in upstate New York and they kept my feet warm and dry the whole time! I did not have to worry about snow getting into the boots either which was very convenient. They were comfortable, although my big toe did hit the top of the front piece of the shoe, but it was not bad enough to the point where I could not walk. After a while my toes got a little cold but overall they did the job.

I really like the style of these boots and how warm they are! I live in Michigan and it gets pretty cold at times and these boots kept my feet really nice and toasty. They do run a bit small so I'm really happy I got them in a half size larger than my regular shoes.

Very comfortable and stylish! The color I purchase goes well with light and dark clothing. Rarely a day goes by that they are not my go to boots, especially on a cold Saturday morning!

These boots are great, a little snug around the ankle but I believe they will fit better once they are broken in. They keep my feet warm, dry and comfortable

These boots arrived feeling very durable and well made! My feet inside them feel warm, toasty and stuck in place. I ordered a half size up and recommend you do too, the padding inside takes up some room. I took a star off because overall the boots are pretty chunky, they look a little odd if you want to wear them as everyday wear. Also they are fur lined on the inside and it doesn't go over the top like it does in the picture. Overall though they are extremely well made and very, very comfy!

These are definitely very waterproof and very warm. They are a bit stiff but comfortable overall. The only real downside is that they look very large and bulky (because they ARE very large and bulky). But they do what they're supposed to do, which is keep my feet very warm and very dry.

very nice and warm, not the most comfortable, but once you break em in they are fine, they are awesome for walking in the snow

Purchased as a gift for my daughter & considered ordering a larger size as per previous reviews but decided to give them a chance. Of course I'll be returning them for a half size larger & hope that works. Boots are well made & even though she says they feels stiff, she chose them over another similar brand.

When the boots first arrived and I tried them on they felt tight. I planned to return them, but decided to give them another chance because they are so cute. I wore them a bit and they felt much better. Now I LOVE them! I think the fur just had to pack down a bit. I used the sizing chart and based on that, bought a 1/2 size bigger than I normally take.

I bought this boot for snowshoeing. It's a little stiffer then I wanted it to be feels more like a snow sting boot. Otherwise warm and good quality

Love these snow boots. I ordered my usual size 9 online. Seems like the cushioning meant for warmth reduces the amount of room inside, making for a tight fit. Adding a pair of thick winter socks, there was no way my usual size would work, so I had to exchange them for a half size larger. They are also bulky, but still a nice looking pair of boots sure to keep my feet warm during New England winters!

I haven't had a snow storm to wear these in but can already tell they will be worth it! I'd order a size larger so that socks can easily fit in, but all the fuzz on the inside keeps the feet warm.

I have worn these boots once so far and they seem really soft, warm and comfortable. They run small so I'd recommend ordering a full size up to have room for winter socks. They are fairly heavy, but I'm guessing that means they'll be durable in the snow!

Slightly on the heavier side and had to go one size up. Fit for purpose snow boot. Wore to the ice castles in sub zero temperatures and kept feet warm and dry and cosy. Good grip on ice.

They may feel just a tad too small but they're not so small that I can't wear them. very durable and warm. Would recommend to others.

First pair were true to size. Cut off circulation in my feet, literally. Second pair is a half size bigger but still quite snug. Wearing thinner socks but that leaves my legs colder. If I go another half size up I feel I will trip over myself as they will be too big. They are really good in the snow however. My feet are warm and the tread keeps me steady even on ice.

It's only been about a week but so far these boots have served me well. There were a couple times where I thought water might be leaking in but it's too soon to tell. The cushioning in the front could certainly get wet. I had north face boots similar to these for 7 years previously before they wore out. I'm hoping these serve me for a similar period of time!

Based on other's reviews, I ordered this a 1/2 size up, but had to exchange it because it was still too small, so I ended up with a full size larger than my usual size. The back of the shoe does cause a bit of chaffing as well, but I'm still pleased with this purchase.

It fit a little snug and we had to exchange the boot for a larger size but my girlfriend LOVES it. She gets compliments on them all the time. Very durable but also a great looking snow boot.

These boots are a good quality buy, but make sure you order 1 full size bigger than you normally would, sizes run small. I bought these as a gift for my wife and she really likes them for both functionality and style. Just had to return for a bigger size.

I researched this product and read the reviews before buying. Many people stated the boots a half size small. When I first put the boots on, also thought the same thing and bought a half size up. However, after wearing them a few times the padding relaxed and the boots actually felt too big. I brought them back and exchanged them for a smaller size - which was my actual size. The boots feel stiff when you first put them on, but relax and are very comfortable. They are warmer than my other boots, but I would still like them to be a little warmer in the toe box.

So I have a friend. She has been ticked off since her last pair of these boots were stolen (along with her whole backpack). And that's been over a year! She was fond of the boots to say the least. I surprised her with a new pair...and surprised myself too.
Not typically my color - these look great. They are a very solid, lower rise boot. She will be walking a lot in them and taking them on and off a lot. She needs something that keep her feet warm and dry - and can move from walking for work to walking for life. These boots are poised to do it all.

An older model of this boot - Chilmark II -- like new, rarely warn, kept clean and free of salt, and stored inside my home. With the first snow this year, I put them on, went outside in 35 degree weather, and watched the rubber on one of the boots split into seven pieces and fall onto the ground. I've been advised to return these out-of-warranty boots for evaluation, repair, or replacement. I am hoping that this is just an unusual defect and that the North Face will stand by the quality of its winter boots as LLBean and Sorel do. Has anyone else had this problem?
