I bought this boot in the distressed brown leather and there was not any powder substance like the previous reviewers say. I don't know if it's because of the color or they changed the issue. That being said, I am obsessed! I am a bigger girl and these boots are so comfortable and soft and plenty wide if you have wider feet. I am going to order the black leather right now!

I probably tried on 25 boots in this style, and finally found one that works. So grateful to Zappos for their patience. I usually wear a 9 wide but found many of the cuter boots from Cole Haan, Ecco, Naot -- boots that looked wide-ish -- were far too narrow. This Rocklin wide is seriously comfortable. Wide enough that I could take a half size smaller than I needed. Plenty of padding. I'm waiting to see how they wear before ordering another pair in black leather.

Tried both the black leather and the black suede. I found the suede to be a bit more comfortable and decided to keep them even though there will be more upkeep. Got the 8.5 W, my usual size, and they were a prefect fit. These are trendy without sacrificing comfort.

These shoes are the best! I wanted a cute boot for a trip to Europe, but I also wanted to find something comfortable enough to walk around in all day. I walked all over Edinburgh (lots of hills and steps and cobblestones to clobber over), wearing these for four days straight, and not only were they super comfortable for so much walking, but they look stylish and cute and made me not look like your typical tourist (a bonus for narrow-width shoes - they actually look cool.) They were a little tight when I first wore them (not uncomfortably so), but after a few days they stretched a little bit and now they're perfect.

Great, comfy boots. I usually wear barefoot-style shoes, but need an attractive winter boot for work (on the weekend my Lems boots are my favorites). I ordered the wide width and found it more comfortable than the Josef Siebels that I also ordered, and way more attractive, as well. A win.

These are beautifully made leather boots. The color is very true to what you see online. They are all leather lined with a very comfortable (probably) leather footbed. Pretty darn fantastic in fact; but sadly the almond shaped toe, even in a wide fitting, squashes up my little toes. So - no. That way lies pain, corns and unworn boots! But they are perfect for someone with narrow feet, I expect.

Shoe love. I had to knock a star off somewhere because the heel is so wide and with the grippy cloth lining socks it's hard to get the foot in. Once I do, the flap of the wide heel makes socks ride down against the fabric lining. If I didn't love them so much I would rule them out because of this but they are otherwise perfect. Can't wait to wear them around. They life my spirits and are exactly the style I had in mind, lower heel and everything. If only they were leather lined. Should be for this price!

These boots are wonderful. The style is on trend. Plus, they are so comfortable! I tried them on an hour ago and I'm still wearing them. I don't want to take them off. My daughter likes them, too, so I will get her a pair.

These are suprisingly stylish for a comfort shoe! And boy, are they comfortable! The sole feels so good. Of course, I'll have to cover over it with a more supportive insert, but I don't want to! I am an 8 and a 1/2 but usually get 9's to accommodate for shoes without choices for width and to have room for inserts. I ordered a 9 and a 9 1/2 and kept the 9's. They are more than roomy, even with my inserts.

I wear wide shoes and my feet are always hot. I needed bottles to wear to work (bank), that look dressy not too warm and comfortable. I love this booties. Very cute and comfortable.

I love these black booties. I'm a hardworking mom and a student at the University. I have to walk and walk and walk. Wet weather, dry weather, these boots match everything, my feet don't get wet and are so comfortable. Price is high but I made the splurge because I figured my feet don't grow anymore and I want to find a good boot I can wear for the next 10 years.

I absolutely love these boots! The leather is so soft, the cushion and mini arch support in the boots makes them so comfortable! I could walk all day in these boots. For sandals and flats, I usually wear size 6 and regular width, but for these boots I ordered size 6½ in Medium width, they fit like gloves! I got the black leather ones, which are gorgeous! Even though they are out of my price range, for the quality and comfort and versatility, I do not mind it at all.

I suffer from plantar fasciitis and needed comfortable yet fashionable footwear for a trip to Italy. These boots were amazing. I walked in them all day long and they were extremely comfortable. They do have some arch support but I added my own insert as well. I sprayed them with waterproofing and after two weeks of almost constant wear they still looked new. They looked great with skinny jeans. I'd highly recommend them!

These are the best work shoes I've had. I have the dark brown pair and will be ordering another pair in black. I'm a printer and I can stand on my feet all day without having sore feet.

I absolutely love these shoe boots. Wish they were available in Red. So comfy from the moment I put them on. Love!

About my feet: size 8, wide, flat, bunions on each side of both feet. I also wear orthotics. It is very hard for me to find comfortable yet stylish shoes, but these are perfect! I have them in an 8 wide, and my orthotics fit in them very well. I did not need to size up for the orthotics. Granted, I haven't worn them for longer periods yet, but they are so soft and comfy that I'm not anticipating them giving me any problems. Also, the inside soles feel soft and cushy. The outer leather is soft lovely as well. I have them in black with the wood-colored soles, and they are so cute. I am really happy with this purchase!

Love this bootie! I am between an 8 - 8.5 and kept the 8.5. I am ordering (2) more colors! I have Morton's Neuroma and these are perfect! It also allows me to add a mini arch support - if I want. Looks great with boot legged jeans and skinny jeans. When you have a foot problem, you try to order what works (and is many colors as you can)!

I love these booties! They fit me perfectly and they have a very soft insole. The only negative was that I had to return the first pair because the leather on one shoe did not seem to be pulled as tightly as the other shoe, so it was wrinkled. The shoe looked so different from each other that I returned them. However, the second pair that came is beautiful!

These are extremely comfortable! I ordered wide but might have been okay with the regular width. Love them! Have the brown pair also!

These ankle boots just arrived today in black suede. They are comfortable right out of the box; I've been wearing them all afternoon. They don't look like a 'comfort shoe'. I wear a 10.5, with a narrow-ish heel, but like a little room in the toe box. These have enough room in the toe without looking clunky, and the heel fits quite well - no slipping. I have a high volume, high instep foot, and in addition, have a neuroma at the ball of the foot (metatarsal) area. This cute little bootie accommodates all of my difficult to fit foot issues, and does it comfortably! And as always, super fast Zappos shipping!

The most comfortable boots ever - I wear them as much as possible. And they're cute!

Very cute and comfy shoe. I have a wide foot and a high arch and instep, so boots are difficult to find. These ones fit great out of the box, and the soft leather has been stretching for an even more comfortable fit in the toe box. They also have extra padding for arch support in the insole, which didn't seem to last long but was nice in the beginning. I do wish that they were available in a WW, since the toe box was a little small at first, but the leather has stretched a little to accommodate my foot.
