So wide! I thought it was mis-sized for a moment. Double checked order slip, box and shoe itself. Not narrow. Didn't come close to being narrow enough, on my heel, especially. Never wear a slim size, either. Just a true narrow.

I loved these boots online, but when they arrived they have been spray-painted on the soles and around the bottom edge of the boot with white paint!

Heel - workmanship is bad - looks like it was covered by faux something and glued on It would not withstand if it gets wet.

Loved these boots but they only lasted a year. The heel is falling apart it is made of a rubber material so you can't fix it by resoling it. The look and feel of these shoes was great but not a lasting shoe, I was very disappointed especially for the price. Zappos please add a "quality" option when reviewing, these would have gotten a 2 from me.

I am so so excited to have found these boots! I love the look of the Sam Edelman Petty but could just never make them quite comfortable enough, even with inserts. These do not even need inserts to be plenty comfortable! They do definitely run wide: I am a 7M in just about all other boots and I have never bought a narrow sized shoe, but I was much happier with a 7N in these. I even found that the arch support, which hit me in kind of a funny spot in the medium width, fit much better in the narrow. I have been wearing them daily with zero break in time, and am seriously considering getting them in another color. I have the distressed brown which is a lovely lighter neutral, but be warned! They scuff instantly and pretty severely. I do not mind the look but if you prefer a more polished look definitely go with another color. Overall, I am totally thrilled with these booties!

I was so excited to get these boots. Finally something that fit well, was comfortable, and looked good. Unfortunately the heel of the boot has a sticker on the outside and started to peel off shortly after I got the boots and has continued to peel off.

I loved these boots and I wore them all over NYC right out of the box. They fit beautifully, go with everything, and no one would know they are "comfort" shoes based on the style. However... after one week the "stacked heel," which really is just rubber with a veneer made to look like wood, started to peel and shred, making them look worn and tacky. This was after normal walking in a city. Really disappointing for that price.

Loved these boots from the first steps. I needed a dress casual bootie for work, and the Rocklin is perfect. Very comfortable, with a well-cushion foot bed and soft arch support. If you have moderate to high arches, you may require additional support. Drugstore Hidden Arch inserts worked for me. Cut for thin socks or tights, order a width above your usual to accommodate thicker socks. My only concern is the wrapped heel -- other reviewers commented that the wrapping began to peel after only a few wearings, and indeed, the wrapping does seem a bit fragile. But, the pros outweigh this one con, and there's always Shoe Goo.

I almost love these boots which I purchased last fall in the gray suede. They are comfortable and look greaBeware, this is not a leather stacked heel, but a papery veneer over plastic. After less than one season of wear, the fake stacked heel wrap came off, revealing the ugly plastic heels. I really wish that had not happened. I'll take them to my local shoe repair where I hope someone can fix the problem. I expect to get several seasons from a boot at this price,

I got these in the fall -- they are soft and comfortable -- but I've worn them around for a few months (not every day, in office and sidewalk environments) and the heel is already falling apart. The top-side leather remains in perfect condition. I spent a lot of $$ on these and thought I would go at least a year without having to replace the heels or toss them altogether.

The fit is mavelous, and I would dearly love to buy these boots again. Unfortunately SoftWalk has CHANGED the design, but has admittedly failed to change their stock photographs. Instead of the lush black suede I got in my earlier pair, I get an "intentionally distressed" pseudo-suede that I wouldn't wear to wash the dog. The toe is shiny, the surface is uneven, and I'm so VERY unhappy with the appearance of these books that I've reached out to SoftWalk to ask them what happened. According to SoftWalk a new supplier unilaterally decided to go with the "distressed" look, and SoftWalk failed to update their photographs or return to their previous supplier (you know, if the attractive boots?). I have returned two pairs of these ugly excuses for booties from two suppliers, and I guess I'll have to find another brand. The Rocklin was THE BEST boot I even owned -- until SoftWalk accepted an inferior product from their supplier and didn't demand a return to the former quality and lovely appearance. BUYER BEWARE: THE PHOTOGRAPHS OF THE BLACK SUEDE BOOTIES YOU SEE ARE NOT THE BOOTS YOU WILL RECEIVE. :(

My first pair of Softwalks. If you have fallen into the chasm of ordering booties over and over, only to return them because they are just too small even though you are ordering your correct size, FEAR NO MORE!!! These little booties are AMAZING! They fit so well - roomy and comfortable without being loose. I was tempted to choose "felt half size larger" & "felt wider than marked" just to emphasize the excellent fit that I experienced.I wear a size 11. They are fully padded and very, very comfortable and soft right out of the box. The zipper is on an angle, making on-and-off very easy. They are really cute with jeans or leggings. Have not tried with a skirt yet. Excellent quality. You will not be disappointed, and you probably won't send these beautiful booties back! I have the graphite and will most likely get more colors.

This boot was very comfortable with great arch support. I returned it due to the heel. Others had reviewed it and said that the outer covering of the heel was poor construction. I must agree. It appeared to be glued on and looked as if it would peel off easily if it got wet.

I am 73 years old. Not being a martyr but, my kids feet always came first. Now I have a terrible time finding shoes that I can wear for any length of time that don't hurt. OMG these Softwalk Rocklin Boots are like Heaven on my feet. 8 - 10 hours...perfect!! No Lie....never in 20+ years have I ever found shoes that fit and feel like these!!!!

LOVE these shoes!! I've a hard to find size...12AA. This boot is a comfortable, true to size fit and made of quality materials.

I ordered 8 pairs of booties.........send them all back. Ordered 5 more.......I am determined. I finally found MY BOOT. This is IT. Unfortunately, sold out in every color I wanted in 10 1/2 Wide (i am sometimes wide, sometimes medium, depending on brand) FOr this bootie, I am WIDE. I got the boring black leather with the dumb brown heel, but THEY FIT. I wore them 2 hours tonite and my weight falls on heels, not toes, in this boot. I learned in Oprah magazine, I believe, that you always want weight to fall on heels, not toes, in shoes/boots.....otherwise, you will be miserable after a long day in the city. Exactly right! Hope this helps someone choose the right bootie for them.

This is my first pair of Softwalks and they are wonderful. If you have trouble finding booties because of a high instep then these shoes are for you. These shoes are perfect. Usually I order a wide shoe just to accommodate my high instep and arch but with these no need. They fit well roomy and comfortable without being too loose. Shoes are cute and comfortable. I did order the wides also but they were really loose.

SoftWalk Rocklin booties look really nice on and are pretty comfortable. My only complaint is that the heels are wearing down alarmingly fast. The wrapping over the heels is actually starting to shred and I haven't had them that long. Not what I would have expected for a shoe at this price.

Shoe pictured online is different then the shoe sent in order. Heel and sole is not black. The shoe sent has a light brown stacked heel and brown trim on sole

Very cute and comfy! I typically am a size 6.5 - 7. In boots I tend to order a size 7 because I do not like it when my shoes are tight, and I like the option for thicker socks. The size 6.5 felt good--but were a smidge tight. The size 7 feel a smidge too loose, and maybe look a tiny bit big on my feet but I kept them. The soles are cushy and so far I really like them.

Love the style and fit BUT the Zappos photo showed a black heel when in reality it is tan wood color.
