Since I can't edit my previous review, I will just add that these boots are warm even without socks. It's very cold here in NY right now, and I've been using these for several days without socks (because they were tight). Now that I've worn them, the lining has tamped down a bit and I am able to wear regular (not thick) socks, but good to know I can get by without them and still be toasty warm.

This is my second winter with these boots...
I am a 7.5 and ordered a 7.5 in the purple dalhia. Love the look and color, so pretty. I find these boots are extremely heavy to walk in, but I guess that's the point if you don't want to slip and fall. I also don't feel like they keep my feet warm. Obviously warmer than all my other boots, but once they are cold they stay cold.
I think the 7.5 was perfect maybe could have gone to a 7. I usually wear longer socks because if I don't it will rub on the back of my ankle and blister but if I wear the right socks I have no issues. I have never had my feet become wet. They are overall, perfect for what I needed but wish there were a few things done better.
Now that I have these, I would consider buying a different kind of Sorels but maybe not these same ones.
My uses: Chicago commuter, walks dog, sledding/playing in the snow with young ones.

Loose in the heal area and tight on the toes. These are really cute and I got a sale, so will keep them. I ordered my usual size but there's no way I can wear socks with them. If I got a bigger size, they'd be way too loose in the back. Strange fit. I hope they're warm enough without socks, as someone else said, because that's my plan.

Great, warm. I’m 5’4” 120lbs with skinny ankles and order 1/2 down from my normal size. I found these to be comfortable and slightly clunky, but I wanted substantial snow boots and these fit the bill. Compared to the sorel Caribou these are a bit slimmer, lighter, and come to a more natural height on my calf which since I’m petite the proportions matter. I found the caribou to be huge inside (even after sizing down 1/2 size) and they just made my foot look huge. I wear my carnivals for playing in the snow with kiddo, running errands, and general out and about in the yucky cold months of Chicagoland. Love Zappos, they make it so easy to get a couple pairs and return the ones I don’t want. Easier than shelping to a department store for me.

I ordered the same size as my other Sorel boots (8.5) but these were way too big. They seem comfortable if they would have fit but I don’t like how the top part of the boot doesn’t actually close.

Love these boot....Very comfy and warm. As stated in other reviews, they do run big. I normally wear a size 10 but ordered a 9.5. Fits perfect. Style is cute and feminine with the Sherpa cuff. Highly recommend.

I ordered a bunch of different Sorels - this was probably my overall favorite but as other reviews have said it feels huge. I think if I had a smaller size I think I would have kept it. I am usually between a 9 and 9.5 and I ordered the 9. Unfortunately it’s out of stock now. I might try again if it becomes available.

These boots are very stylish and definitely water proof. I also like that the liner comes out so that you can wash them if need be. I can wear these daily. I did find my toes feeling a little cold when I wore them in the snow, but may just have needed thicker socks.

I really wanted to like these since I got them yesterday. I walked around the house with them just to get a feel of what it'd be like to walk in them for a while. I found that the back part of the boot bunches/buckles around my ankle. It gave me a slight blister. I tried to remedy this by wearing thicker socks and even tried not lacing them up so tight but I still felt that bunching which was extremely comfortable. I don't know if it's because my calves are big or what, but I can't imagine myself walking in these for more than 5 minutes. I had to return them.

Boots are great however I should have listened to the other reviews on size. These run huge!! I’m a 7.5 and I ordered a 7. Still too big so a 6.5 is on its way. Hope that’s the right fit.

Cute but not comfy!! I wish these were not so snow-board-boot stiff! They make one walk like you're in ski/snowboard stiff boots. Not too cool. They are warm. They are cute. But I am returning them because I actually have to walk in them!

The best part about this boot is the wide foot bed (I have duck feet) and ability to get it in a 10.5. Good cushioning, although there is minimal arch support. Clunky, as many winter boots are, but the best of the 3 brands I tried!

Bought these for my 13 year old daughter - she loves them. We're the same size so I tried them on - extremely comfortable and very warm. They run large - ordered a 9, her usual size, and they were too big. Ordered the 8.5 and they're perfect.

Ordered 4 different Sorel winter boots and almost kept these but opted for the Tofino II instead. These were comfortable but the ultimate reason I didn't keep them was the lower shaft height of the boot and the tongue doesn't go all the way up so I think snow could easily get in. Based on reviews, I ordered a size 7 (regularly a 7.5) and it felt too snug, especially since I want to be able to wear thick socks but the 7.5 felt much better. I'd order your regular size.A little difficult to get on, but comfortable once on.

Super comfortable and warm - they are a little clunky and they definitely fit a bit big, but I love them. I usually wear a 7.5, so I ordered these in a 7.5 and I have room to spare, but they’re perfect to wear a thick sock in for all day play in the snow.

I wear 8.5-9. Everyone said to order down so I ordered an 8, but they were too small. It’s the liner sleeve that is the problem. The boot itself seems like it would fit.
I don’t like the inner sleeve. It comes out when you pull out your foot and is tight and not soft.
I don’t like the style. The maroon color is fine, but the liner color is ugly. The boot itself makes your foot look huge and smashed in when laced.

Not to bad over all. Definitely bulky and heavy but after all they are a snow boot so I was expecting that. They are extremely warm boots and also kept my feet dry as well. The right boot was rubbing a bit but after adjusting the liner a bit it seemed to help. They did run big as the other reviews mentioned but great for thicker socks! Overall I’m happy!
