These look like serious snow boots. Translate into "these are not pretty". They look very wide, but don't feel as wide as they look. That said, the tongue is attached up to the top lace loop, so that's better than a lot I've tried on. They lace up tightly with one easy pull of the laces. There is a coated canvas upper, with a felt/wool (?) liner. The liner is split in the middle so you can get your foot in. But it doesn't even meet in the middle when I tie the boots -- there is still a small gap (about 1/4 inch) where my foot is covered only by coated canvas. The thought of that at minus 10 degrees isn't pleasant. I'll keep searching for the perfect boot.

Bought these boots for my daughter who commutes to her college campus in Northeast Ohio. During the cold, wet winters she has to park and walk to different buildings during the day, trudging through ice, snow, and muddy water. These boots are so cute with jeans.

I like these a lot. I often wear a 1/2 size larger so I'd gotten these in a 1/2 size larger, but I don't need it. So I need my normal size in these. Comfortable and cute.

Zappos recommended an 8 for me and that was just a bit too small. I have other Sorel boots in an 8 that fit—so that seemed like a solid recommendation. I decided to size up to an 8.5—my usual shoe size—and they fit perfectly with enough room for a wool sock. They are fairly stylish for a heavy winter boot and Sorel has always been one of my favorite brands for heavy duty warmth. Highly recommend.

If you're looking for a warm, comfortable boot then look no further! These hold up to the extreme winters in Montana with no problem!

Love the color and style, but the boots did give me a blister on the heel while I had been walking for a while. Otherwise, very warm and cozy.

I love the green color scheme and the boots are very warm. They are a bit more clunky than I had hoped but I don't plan to use them for any long term walking or hiking.

Wow! They are humongous!

The tabs on this boot are leather. I had called Sorel and Zappos, and neither could give me a sure answer. Inside the tongue the symbol says leather. I don't wear leather so they are going back.

I really like these boots. I was looking for warm pack boots and these qualify nicely. I have rather square shaped feet and these are roomy enough for me. I ordered a half size up because I wear them with heavy socks. The bottoms are flat without a raised heal.

Love!! I was skeptical about everyone saying to size down since I have wide feet, so I didn’t at first but I ended up having to exchange for a smaller size. They are so cute and comfortable in the snow! Definitely worth it.

These did not feel a half size bigger as some stated. I still could have ordered a half size up. Especially with thick winter socks. Sorry I had to return.

While i like this boot, i went up a 1/2 size cause i generally need a little more space than an 8, especially anticipating wearing thick socks. While the length fit nicely (i don't like my toes hitting the top of my shoes), my heel kept lifting while walking, they were a bit too roomy in the heel area for me. I unfortunately had to return them for a different style.

Hard to get on and heavy. Not comfortable at all. No give in the ankle area. Too bad, they are cute boots but not comfortable.
