It’s the second attempt to buy a sorel boot but alas, I tried two kinds and they are just too heavy to walk around in. Still in search of the perfect snow boot.

Very heavy and clunky to walk in.

Loved the look of this boot and really wanted to keep it. But as others have said, as it doesn’t lace all the way up, the top seems sloppy unless you have stick thin calves (which I do not)! Also, the lining comes out everytime you take your foot out of the boot, which felt like it would get quite annoying. I do always wear a 9 in boots but found these, as with other Sorels, run a bit on the large side and these were perfect in an 8.5.

Got these in today and they are precious! The purple is a great/rich color and so pretty! They do feel about a half size too big, I’m an 8.5 and ordered an 8.5, and I’m going to keep them because I think they will be perfect with thicker socks. They were easy to get on and off and felt comfortable walking in them. They are stiff around the back of the foot/ankle, so I don’t know how they will feel after several hours. I bought these with the intent of having them for several years, since I don’t live where we get a lot of snow. They are going to the Smokies with me for NYE! Hoping for some snow!

I really wanted to love these. They felt really warm and comfortable when I tried them on. Unfortunately, because the laces don't go all the way up and they're only held in place by loose metal rings they ended up looking really sloppy. No matter how I laced/tied them they were loose and splayed out at the top where the laces didn't reach. Not only did this not look as put-together as I would have liked, it also would have cause my calves to be cold. Also, they were really bulky. I buy hard core winter boots every few years (originally from Chicago) and haven never really had ones that were that bulky in the foot area. I had to return these and keep the Keens I bought at the same time. They don't go up as high, but they tie securely and seem just as warm and cozy. And they're a lower profile.

I love the look of Sorel boots but I have tried them multiple times and they just are not comfortable. I have a lond narrow foot and these just felt flat hard and sloppy.

I love, love, love these boots! I live in New Hampshire and they have done an excellent job of keeping my feet warm and dry.

Bought these for my daughter, she loved them! Cute, comfy, and more importantly they kept her feet warm and dry during the winter.

I love this boot but don't care for the fluffy at the top. Id rather have the style without the fluffy. Made my halves look big.

These are great! It's tough for me to find cute women's boots in a 12, so I was really excited to find purple boots that would stand up to a Minnesota winter. They keep my feet warm in sub-zero temps, with enough traction to manage when the sidewalks are icy. I really have no complaints about these boots. Keep in mind, I think these run just a little large. I wear either a 12 or 13 in most shoes, and these felt larger compared to some other Sorels in the same size.

I wear solid 8.5 and I had buy 7.5 in these. And they are still comfortable and plenty of room to wiggle toes. Easy to put on and off. Got black and they look the best with skinny jeans, especially black. These are not for walking long miles but perfect for regular walks and snow fun with kids.

These boots run HUGE! I normally wear between a size 9.5 and a 10 so I originally ordered a 9.5. I tried them on and couldn't believe how large they were on my feet! I ended up exchanging it for a size 8.5. They fit much better now. Still not 100% sure I will keep them yet. I wanted a high quality, stylish and warm pair of boots and definitely feel like you get all of that with these boots. However, not sure it's a perfect fit as my one foot is slightly larger than the other. I am also concerned that I will get annoyed that the liner lifts up every time I take the boots off. Not sure that is a deal breaker though. Hoping I can give this boot a 5 star after wearing it more.

Sorel's are the best boots for winter. I have two pairs and they are comfortable, warm, and durable for midwestern winters.

I love these boots! I ordered them in an 8.5 and they fit great. They are roomy enough for thick socks. They definitely run very wide but that is to be expected with a snow boot and feel more secure with the right kind of socks and tied tighter.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE my SOREL Winter Carnival boots! They are as comfortable as they are fashionable! I don't really know how I survived without them- they are the perfect length to throw them on to run around town or get down in the powder at your favorite snow-shoeing trail- on or off-road!

These boots are warm and great for moving around in the snow. I usually wear a 9.5 and ordered that size and they are perfect. I can wear a regular sock and they are a little loose in the width or I can wear a thicker winter sock and they are still comfy, not too tight. The length is good, the width is a little wide. They have good tread and good laces that don't need to be double knotted.

The color of these - a rich cranberry - is beautiful and unique. I love these boots and now can't wait for it to snow again so I can wear them! I am usually a 8.5 or 9 in a shoe. I originally ordered an 8.5 and they felt huge. The 8 felt very smug at first but after wearing them around the house for a while, I decided they fit. I have a narrow heel though and the back slips a little. These are super cute and functional for going around town in snowy, wet weather - not meant for a hike or extended wear.

I love these. Cute and comfy. True to size. Looking forward to wearing them on my upcoming trip!

I debated on these and the Winter Fancy for awhile. I found these run big. I am normally a size 9 in boots and bought an 8 in these. They are fantastic in the snow, which ironically we have had a ton of this year. These are very comfy too.
