These will keep someone warm, the quality looked great, the fabric outside is tasteful and inside seems incredibly padded and warm. They are "clunky"; if you have wide calves, the tongue of the shoe will not tuck in under the fur. Overall, its a good shoe, but as all shoes, it needs to be what you want and need.

they run true to size...i ordered a 1/2 size down based on other feedback and i need to return them...

I really liked how they looked but I definitely need a smaller size.

I really like these boots but the nylon upper is so stiff that when I tried to walk in them, they dug into the back of my ankle.

Loose in the heal area and tight on the toes. These are really cute and I got a sale, so will keep them. I ordered my usual size but there's no way I can wear socks with them. If I got a bigger size, they'd be way too loose in the back. Strange fit. I hope they're warm enough without socks, as someone else said, because that's my plan.

I ordered a bunch of different Sorels - this was probably my overall favorite but as other reviews have said it feels huge. I think if I had a smaller size I think I would have kept it. I am usually between a 9 and 9.5 and I ordered the 9. Unfortunately it’s out of stock now. I might try again if it becomes available.

The best part about this boot is the wide foot bed (I have duck feet) and ability to get it in a 10.5. Good cushioning, although there is minimal arch support. Clunky, as many winter boots are, but the best of the 3 brands I tried!

Ordered 4 different Sorel winter boots and almost kept these but opted for the Tofino II instead. These were comfortable but the ultimate reason I didn't keep them was the lower shaft height of the boot and the tongue doesn't go all the way up so I think snow could easily get in. Based on reviews, I ordered a size 7 (regularly a 7.5) and it felt too snug, especially since I want to be able to wear thick socks but the 7.5 felt much better. I'd order your regular size.A little difficult to get on, but comfortable once on.

Wanted to Love these boots but if you have big calves they splay open. Unless you are wearing them under pants they look sloppy. The fur part didn't even make it to the front of my calves..

Super comfortable and warm - they are a little clunky and they definitely fit a bit big, but I love them. I usually wear a 7.5, so I ordered these in a 7.5 and I have room to spare, but they’re perfect to wear a thick sock in for all day play in the snow.

Not to bad over all. Definitely bulky and heavy but after all they are a snow boot so I was expecting that. They are extremely warm boots and also kept my feet dry as well. The right boot was rubbing a bit but after adjusting the liner a bit it seemed to help. They did run big as the other reviews mentioned but great for thicker socks! Overall I’m happy!

These boots are warm and great for moving around in the snow. I usually wear a 9.5 and ordered that size and they are perfect. I can wear a regular sock and they are a little loose in the width or I can wear a thicker winter sock and they are still comfy, not too tight. The length is good, the width is a little wide. They have good tread and good laces that don't need to be double knotted.

I ordered these when I wore through the soles of my last pair of Sorels (after 3 seasons of winter dog walking). I had the Snow Angels in the past, and decided to go up to a slightly more robust boot. These are very roomy but comfortable in the size I usually order from Sorel. Very warm! They are fairly lightweight for their size (similar to my previous pair) and not too bulky for walking in, but will also be great for deep snow. I love them!

I have a high instep and this results in great difficulty in purchasing boots since my foot won't make the bend at the ankle in the boot. I have tried on at least 15 different boots and styles both local and through Zapos this year for snow boots. I was really hopeful that that these would work. Unfortunately they did not. I went up a whole size trying to make them work and I was able to get my foot in, but then the actual foot fit was clunky and sloppy. I had to send them back (loved the Purple Dalia color too!)..Darn! After ordering and returning numerous pair i found the Keen: Hoodoo III Low Waterproof boots which went on fairly easily, and fit well. The color wasn't as exciting but I find that if my boots are to much of a challenge to get on and off I just find reasons not to go out. (and I love to go out) If you have a high instep and have trouble finding bots do try the Keens.

These boots are VERY warm, and great for cold weather and snow- easy to walk in and easy to get on and off. All that insulation does make for a big boot and I think they make my feet look pretty big. They also run large. I usually wear an 8.5 and the 8 is still a little big on me. I have to wear thick socks. Overall a great snow boot!

Totally satisfied! I needed boots that were comfortable and warm, these boots fit the bill. Once my feet warm up inside they stay warm until you take them off. They aren't to clunky but the sole does look huge. Hopefully I can keep these for years to come.

Good boots, a little clunky at first since I had to order a full size up. The lining does come out of one boot when I take it off, so that a little annoying, but not a big deal as it slides back in easily

These are a little clunky but comfortable and very warm. They are big enough that with my usual size I can wear thick socks and my feet are on the wide side. There is not much arch support and they fit similar to a snowboarding boot. Overall, pretty pleased with them.

Have worn these for long periods of time (New Years Eve ball drop, football games) in freezing weather and in snow (shoveling). They keep my feet dry but not particularly warm.. Need thick socks and even then my toes get a bit numb the longer I'm outside. They're quite heavy too so I always feel like I'm trudging when I'm wearing them. Good for short walks in snow or brief outdoor tasks but wouldn't recommend for extended/strenuous outdoor activities.

These boots are great for snow but maybe a little bit too much for rainboots. I ordered a half a size smaller than I normally wear based on other reviews I read but had to send them back because my toes were touching the end of the shoe. I feel these boots are true to size but a little wide so they feel a little big and clunky. Still happy with them as a winter boot.

I followed the advice of getting a half/full size smaller. Not for me. I normally wear size 8 shoes and ordered 7.5. Too small for me. I have to return the 7.5 and ordered size 8. Perfect size! Still have room for thick socks. We just had a snowstorm in IL and got to use my new boots. They kept my toes warm and dry.

I have been looking for snow boots for over a year, and more specifically at these Sorel Winter Carnivals in Dahlia. I was very pleased with the color and to find that they were true to size. Unfortunately, I am getting some nasty blisters from them on the front of my ankles. They are also quite a bit "clunkier" than I hoped they would be, but they are Winter boots after all. I'm also disappointed that the tongue of the boot does not go all the way to the top. There is at least a two inch dip down to the tongue that I did not notice and bothers me quite a bit. They do keep my feet warm and are a pretty color and I can appreciate that. I hope if I wear them in a bit that I will stop getting blisters. But until then I might find a different pair of boots that I like better.

These are super cute and have kept my feet warm and dry in the snow. Based on other reviews, I sized half a size down and they fit well!
