I was so hoping these would be great boots, but they came a bit too big. Walking around the house the back of the book and around my arch were pinched by the binding of the boot. The boot creased and cut into my foot and ankle. I did read reviews that these would be bulky and heavy to walk around in, and that's true. Too many negatives for such a name brand like Sorel.

I wanted to like these, but they missed the mark for me. They felt like snowboarding boots and just didn’t look feminine

Terrible. Too big. Flopped all over my feet and gave me blisters after a simple 1-hour walk. Company needs to get its act together on sizing. I wear a 7 or 6.5 in any other brand of shoe. These I would need to have ordered a 5.5 to fit properly. Too late now. They also don’t lace up high enough at all. Waste of money.

I'm not sure how these can be rated for -25ºF. The shoes are made of coated canvas, almost like a tarp, and the lining is incredibly thin. When I tried them on *inside* my house, my feet felt cold, so I couldn't imagine the shoes keeping my feet warm outside. The shoe is relatively stiff and not very comfortable to walk in. I'm pretty disappointed in the quality for the price.

It’s the second attempt to buy a sorel boot but alas, I tried two kinds and they are just too heavy to walk around in. Still in search of the perfect snow boot.

Very heavy and clunky to walk in.

I do not think Sorel can make a winter boots anymore. I have no idea where the high reviews come from. I live in the mountains of Colorado where you live in snow boots from October into early May. These shoes are heavy, cold, and feel awful walking around - just in my house for a little while. They are overly bulky in toe area. Which probably makes them feel so cold. The wool lining is thin and makes the bulky heavy shoe rub on your feet. Someone needs to tell Sorrel how to make a good boot. Start from scratch. Good boots feel like a sneaker - are not heavy and have good traction. It shouldn't be that hard.

While the boots looked great, they were so uncomfortable. There is a bulge/crease in the back that rubs on your ankle - very very painful. Boots are also very clunky. They are going back.

I've had these shoes before and they were very comfortable. These are different. They are very narrow, too narrow to get my foot through the neck even though the size was correct. I took the liner out in hopes that would work but inside is like a rough plastic so impossible to wear without liner. I'm very sad. As these have always been my favorite shoe.

I purposely did not read the reviews prior to purchasing these boots. I wanted to be my own judge. I received the boots and they are VERY clunky/heavy & I could tell that they were NOT going to be warm. I then read the reviews and they were accurate. These boots are not even true to size. I'm 7 and took the 6 and the 6 fit.
