These boots are definitely defective. I went on a 30 minute walk in them and half way through I didn't think I was going to make it back home wearing them. The structure in the ankle digs into you and rubs while walking and it hurts very bad! The next day the sores were very painful and bleeding. Obviously I won't be wearing these again! Reading other reviews this is a very common problem. Definitely not what I was expecting from a brand like Sorel.

The back of the boot rubs against my heel and causes discomfort so I am unable to wear them.

These botos have virtually no grip. They are in fact a liability for walking on snow or ice. They also are not very comfortable and not especially warm. I do not understand how they are sold as snow boots!!! Very disappointed.

These boots are not warm enough for a North Dakota winter. As a poultry farmer I spend a lot of time outdoors in the snow and in the barn on cold concrete, these boots have definitely let me down ..and we haven't even really hit below zero yet. After about 15 minutes I can feel my feet getting cold and I've done everything I can think of to try to make the boots warmer..I wear wool socks, added wool boot liner inserts and put them on a boot warmer to warm them up before going out, nothing helps. I will say they aren't too heavy weight wise but I would rather have a heavier boot if it would help keep me warm. Very disappointed, would not recommend for cold climates. I read these were rated for -25 degrees and that is simply not true

These boots are terrible. They dig into your heel and back of your ankle, carving in your skin and giving you terrible blisters no matter what type of socks you wear. They also don't keep that warm either. Feet get cold easily. Absolutely do not recommend.

Got these last winter and didnt need them much. I've worn them to a few football tailgates this year and my toes were so cold i had to shove handwarmers in there. Theyre also so stiff and hard to drive in.

I received these boots for Christmas. I was super excited to try them out, but they didn't make it out the door. I'm a 9 in boots, running shoes, anything closed-toe, so I ordered a 9. They're huge. The boot is generally *really* wide - even with thick wool socks. My heel moves around too much because the boot is too wide. They feel like men's boots. I've thought about swapping them for a smaller size, but I don't think that's going to solve the problem since the length wasn't a huge issue (although they do seem to run a tad large).

I've only worn them around the house but they hurt the back of my heel so bad I want to return them. They look cute but are not comfy at all!

These run large and can cause blisters if you get the wrong size.

Size down. Way down! My regular shoe size felt as if I were wearing clown shoes.

I have tried to like these boots for over a year now. I have never written a review before, but am doing so now because my dislike for this product is vast. First of all, they are way too wide - even with a thick sock. Second, the liner comes out every time I take them off. Third, they do not keep my feet warm. And finally, they offer NO traction on the bottom and find myself constantly slipping. I am so very disappointed.

I bought these boots last year after my old school moon boots broke. I did a lot of research into these but apparently not enough research. I help with snow plowing in the winter here in Michigan. And after 30 mins outside in temperatures around 10' my whole foot is frozen and I can't get them warmed back up for hours. Worse boot ever

I've had these for a year now and I have genuinely tried multiple times to love them. I generally like Sorel but these somehow slipped through the quality inspection. I cannot wear these boots without getting a blister on the back of my ankle. In the photo of the boot you can see the heel/backside slants inwards - that will dig into your skin. My husband also has a pair and has the same experience. I originally bought these for warmth, I live in Minnesota but still like to walk through snow and cold temps. We just returned from a walk and my toes are so cold they hurt, and I have new blisters on the ankles. These are officially going in the donate bin.

I'm rather disappointed in these boots. One thing that I didn't expect was that, although these come up to around low to mid-calf, they're really not made for people with larger calves. I'm 5'3" and don't have problems usually fitting into shorter boots, but when I try walking around in these, I have to really push back on the back of the boots so that I'm not constantly leaning forward. They are very warm. Though they're rather clunky, I would have appreciated them on a day with deep snow if they weren't so uncomfortable for me to wear.

Wow, I bought these boots for my daughter for the holidays. We used the size chart, measured her feet and ordered a 7. in fact they are too big and she needs a 6.5. we are sending them back and requested Sorel to send out a 6.5, but they refused and told us that we needed to make a new purchase. Its a shame they were so unhelpful and inconsiderate since the boots look good. But I can't recommend this company, or this product.

I really wanted to love these boots because they are so cute but they are like wearing ski boots! They are very stiff and uncomfortable. The seam in the back of the boot folds in and rubs the back of your heel in a bad way. When I tried them on, I couldn't wait to take them off! They also run really big. I am religiously a size 9 and these were way too big, even with thick socks.
