This is the 2nd mat Pro I buy. My first one is stardard size, it was sufficient when I just started with my practice but now that I am a regular I wanted something longer. This is the best investment in my yoga practice. The mat is sturdy yet soft and supportive on the the poses. Color is gorgeous. However, it is a little heavy but I just carry it in the studio and back to my car.

It is the third mat I buy and I am convinced that what I buy I love and it is of excellent quality, the colors are very intense and beautiful I highly recommend it they are an excellent gift

The best ever! The weight is high, but your practice improves

When I first got this, I stared at it thinking it was too big but now I am thrilled to have it. No more scooting forward and back to stay off the floor! Extra long is the way to go. Also very thick and comfortable. I would buy it again!

I bought the mat for meditation and it's amazing! The mat is durable and completely worth it, even before broken in.

I have thoroughly enjoyed this mat. Poses that would normally strain sensitive joints have been made so much easier. My only "complaint" is that the purple is not as bright as pictured, it is much more muted and dark, but still a wonderful investment

This is my second Manduka, ONLY because I forgot my other one at my other house; and the other one is 5 years old and still in perfect condition. These mats are mats for life. I love them because they're comfy, extra long (ordered that way), virtually indestructable and comfortable. The only mat I will use now and probably forever.

The extra large size is amazing and the thick padding is great for my joints. My k red aren't sore every time now. This guy is heavy but im not travelling with it so that isn't an issue for me.

I purchased this mat after my old one no longer fit my needs (it was too soft and I couldn't do balance poses on it). Manduka Pro provides great cushioning while it is still compact enough for me to do balance poses. It helped improved my pracitice. Howerer the break in period in a bit of a nuisance. It does get slippery when you sweat. I use eQua hand towel which is great for this, i don't slip at all. I do hope the slipping issue will go away afer a break in period because I wold love to use it without the need for a towel.

I have been using a Manduka mat for over 10 years. It is in much the same condition as when I first bought it. I use it for hot yoga 3-5 times a week. It provides great cushion and has spoiled me for thinner mats. I am so pleased I just bought a second for my new home studio. I am confident this is the last mat I will ever need.

I've had this mat for a month and couldn't be happier with it. I use it with a Manduka yoga toes towel when I'm doing a power sequence for extra grip during the purported break-in period. Plenty of room to roam on the 85 version and it feels bulletproof.

I bought this mat a couple of weeks and it's awesome. Excellent quality and the thickness is just perfect. I also appreciate the extra length. The material feels great and very high quality. Overall, I am super happy with it :-)

I love this mat! I'm so glad I bought this type. I been using the mat 5x a week. This mat does not make you slip and slide like other mats. The thickness of the mat helps with my knees. I'm so glad I bought this mat!

I thought long an hard about buying this mat. I had several cheaper mats before, but all of them didn't last that long and their size was relatively small. now with the Manduka Pro long version im finally able to lay down on my mat without touching the cold floors, with my feet or arms. Yes the mat is expensive, but I expect to serve me for a long time. and yes in the beginning the mat is a bit slippery, but with use and a couple of treatments it will only improve :D

I use the yoga mat almost daily for ashtanga. It is a replacement to my last one that was stolen out of my car. This is the Manduka PRO Yoga Mat - Verve (Red) - Extra Long 85". The heavy mat stays put on the floor. I followed the instructions and scrubbed it with salt.

Having had a 3mm mat, this is like a luxury upgrade. I am 6'3" and my downward facing dog is not cramped, I have space to stretch without worry of extending over my mat. It does take up a little more space, obviously, so even for a shorter person, if you just need that few extra inches of comfort, I recommend this mat. A little bit of moisture is best, but drops of water make the mat slippery, at least in the time I have used it (maybe 4-5 sessions)

Bought this mat due to my previous mat not having enough grip. This mat really made a huge difference keeping me from sliding. Love the longer size as well.

I bought the PRO extra long mat, and it's wonderful to have the extra room (both width and length) to explore in my practice. It's pretty heavy so it will stay home where it will get plenty of love. Did the salt treatment to help with grip, and now just using it and spraying with mat wash each time. It's starting to break in after a couple of weeks / several uses. Love the color, it's vibrant and cheerful. I think it's a little more blue than the image on the website appears.

I am in love with my Manduka Pro85 mat. Not only is it comfortable to lay upon, but it is flexible and absorbs all of the shock from jumps and falls. I love practicing yoga, working out, and taking naps with it. Truly a gem and worth every single penny.
