This is by far the best mat ever!!! No more sore joints and is so comfortable!!! I decided to go with the long mat vs the standard size and I'm so glad I did. I never have to worry if I'm going to be off of my mat. Concentration remains with every pose because of that. Starting yoga at 50 with an amazing mat will keep me practicing for the remaining of my life. Way to go Manduka!!!!

I recently upgrades to the pro from the pro lite. The difference between the two mats are unbelievable. The pro is much thicker and more noticeable when doing inversions and arm balances. I love the length of the mat as when I would lay flat on the other I would hang off. Both are good mats but I prefer the pro.

I use this for a home exercise mat vs. traditional Yoga mat. I love the size and quality. I bought this one because it was thicker than a lot of the mats out there. I use it for push ups, Kettle Bells, etc. Very happy with the purchase. Easy to roll up and store when not in use.

For the price, there is no strapping provided aiding in the ease of transport. And, that you have to buy your recommended product to clean it, a further expense and aggravation. Yoga is supposed to make you feel relaxed. Also, I use my mat indoors and outdoors on nice days, on a wooden deck.I live in the Northeast United States. No provision in your survey to indicate both indoor and outdoor use.. A reviewer said for cleaning, that she uses an ecco-friendly soap, then hangs her mat to dry, and this works. That is what I will do. I wish to avoid the added expense and annoyance to have to order your cleaning product. I also am thinking about buying some kind of strapping to keep my mat rolled up and easier to transport..

Ive had this mat for around a year and I really love it. With the extra length, its a bit heavy to cary around but worth it. Ive tried a lot of mats, nothing beats this mat. Its dense and comfortable on the joints but not so squishy that it costs balance. Getting on this mat is a lot like getting into a really nice car - You just settle in and enjoy. Its good to have a mat towel on hand for super sweaty practices, otherwise the grip is good. One thing ive found is that if I notice it getting slippery, its usually because the mat is dirty. After cleaning its grip comes back. Im really happy to have this mat in my life.

After over a decade of intense yogasana practice, I've had many different mats. I began with Prana, tried a few other unique brands, and then settled on my first Manduka Pro, which was shorter in length and black. I couldn't ever "break it in" and it always seemed too slick for me. I inspected the latest Manduka mats at my Ashtanga Shala and the texture was greatly improved, along with the same perfect amount of thickness for my practice. I am almost six feet tall and had been longing for the 85 length for years, so finally decided to give Manduka another try and I'm very happy with my decision. The length is amazing (as is the deep color), the tread isn't slick at all and I have never had a better mat for handstands. I also enjoy Manduka for when I must work in a carpeted space, as it has spared my wrists from additional stress on what would otherwise be too soft of a surface for me. I'm assuming this mat will last forever as my other one has in perfect condition and I don't even look at other mats anymore. Very satisfied in my daily Ashtanga practice. Thank you.

Took up yoga after years of rugby left me with little cartilage in my knees. This mat is a dream. It's dense and thick, with plenty of cushion. Feel next to no pressure on knees or elbows through it. Being 6'4 the length is what prompted the purchase. At the price point I was expecting a quality mat but have been blown away by just how good it is.

I have taken 10 hot yoga classes in the last 5 days on this mat. I absolutely love it. The extra cushion is great, the length is perfect, and I love the color. I am extra sweaty so I pair it up with a mat towel and I am golden. Absolutely recommend it.

This mat is everything it was stated to be! Extra long and plenty thick for lasting comfort for years. It is a superb mat!

I bought this for my yogi husband who is tall and likes a little extra padding. He loves this mat. Its not the best for travel because of the weight, but for practicing at home it is exactly what we needed.

I got this extra long mat for my husband for Valentine's, he's 6'5" and it's perfect. He loves it, it's supportive and stays on the floor without any movement. I also got an extra long strap and socks. They gave me a free gift and the products are amazing!

I love this mat, but it is definitely slippery. I have salted the mat, which helped a small amount. I would suggest having a microfiber cloth nearby or practicing on the underside of the mat if you are prone to sweaty palms or feet! Overall, this is a very good mat/ good purchase

I'm a newbie to yoga and all my friends suggested the Pro mat (extra long) and I love it! It's the perfect length! I'm 6'1 and the standard mats are just too short, so this one does the trick! Best yoga investment!

Great mat allittle slippery tried the sea salt seems to be getting better. Very nice support for my knees, hoping it breaks in soon and gets less slippery. Is the emblem side supposed to be up when in use

I was surprised how wonderful colour has this mat, I love practice on it, this is a kind of colour therapy as well. After the break-in process it's still a bit slippery in some poses, but I've only been using it for a month, so I expect to improve its nature. Anyway has a great texture and doesn't smell bad to me. I'm greatly satisfied about it.

Finally decided to invest in a proper yoga mat after trying out many, many, many ones over the years. I wish I had bought this one from the beginning, would have saved a ton of money instead of buying god knows how many 'cheap' ones. The bottom line is that the quality is amazing. Better grip than the lululemon mats, even in hot yoga. Doesn't have that 'yoga mat' smell you may find with lower quality ones. I have very bony knees and elbows, but this mat, even though pretty thin, it somehow manages to provide exceptional cushioning! Love it!

This is my first mat. It meets all of my requirements for now. A little bit more slippery than I expected but I think in time you get used to it.

Bought this over a month ago and I love it. Had a few other yoga mats but it felt like me knees were grinding in the floor and I wasn't getting the max stretch I knew I could. I was slipping in my stretches as well. With my new Manduka I can concentrate on finding my new length within
