The color that showed on the Manduka.com website was exactly the color of the mat when it arrived. It's a beautiful, deep red! Along with all the wonderful performance attributes of this mat, it is also a beautiful color. Perfection!

I purchased this mat a few weeks ago and have used it multiple times since. It has really helped my practice. My hands no longer slide in downward dog. The length & width is perfect, I am no longer stepping off of the mat. I have plenty of room & grip to practice! The price made me nervous at but I am so glad I bought this mat!

I bought this just about a month, I am using it once a week and I love it. It has just a right thickness, most of all it doesn't move around it stays where ever you have laid out. I wish got it a long time one like this one.

This is a great, thick and comfortable mat. Great for use at studio when I have long sessions or days. The onlynegative is it's size and weight. But not bad for an 85 in wide, thick mat

I've had a Pro mat for years and I love it. In the past few years, my husband has become more serious about his yoga practice. I told him he needed a better mat, but he is a tightwad and didn't want to spend the money on one. I bought this one for him for Christmas and he's in heaven.

I bought this mat a while ago, and it's wonderful! I got the extra length so that I would have plenty of room to fully stretch out and not have to touch the floor. The mat has excellent grip and cushion!! The color is just wonderful. Basically I just Love this mat!

I bought this mat for my husband (6 foot) and he loves that he is able to comfortably lay down fully for savasana.

I was looking for an extra long mat for my ankles not to be on the fllor during front-extensions-type asanas. The XL mat I got is doing the job.

I purchased this mat for my husband. He loves it. The length is perfect for his height and the padding is great for his joints. He said he may try the sea salt treatment as recommended to see if it will improve the surface. Overall, a great product.

Thick, sticky, comfy, durable (well seems to be in the 2 weeks I've had it!) and doesn't retain moisture so gets clean and dries quickly. I'm 6'1" and the long mat really has worked out great. No hanging off the edge.

Top quality yoga mat which you can really feel that will last a long time. Worth every penny and very pleased that it comes with a life time guarantee! It's only been just over a month, it gets better with time and I can feel the difference of comfort and support compared to my other mat. Only downside is that it's not something to carry for a long time - because it gets heavy!

I used my new mat once before i had done the salt scrub, and what a difference there is after scrubbing. I also clean and condition my mat with the Manduka cleaner after 3-4 uses. This mat is grippy and doesn't lose its grip when my hands get sweaty. Great product!

Bought it a month ago and I am more than happy with it. The extra length makes it even more comfortable to do certain exercises.

As a Yoga Instructor, I am impressed by this mat, it exceeded my expectations, with exactly the right amount of stability and grip. The extra length and width is great! The only negative is the weight is heavy, but it's still my favorite mat.

I have used several yoga mats, but this Mat is really good. It has great grip which helps you make even more progress in your practice, as you don't have to be afraid your hands or feet will slip. I highly recommend it!!!, note: I also recommend you buy the cleaning spray at purchase, as acquiring this afterward has a high postage rate, at least for Portugal at least.

I bought my second Manduka mat to keep in a second location. This time I went for the purple one. It looks much better in person than on line. It has more of an eggplant look. The mat like my first one is great for comfort and performance. This one is not slippery at all and needed no treatment.

I purchased this mat not for yoga but rather for push-ups, burpees, sit-ups etc. The mat I used prior was literally shredding apart where my shoes were coming in contact with the mat. This mat has shown no signs of wear, lays perfectly flat and stays put. I LOVE IT!!

I teach yoga for a living, have had my own Manduka black mat for 14 years and 4,000 hours of practice and classes and it's still in like new shape, so I bought one for my boyfriend... extra long so his nice bald head fits in the mat. He loves it!

I bought this mat as my original one was slippery however I am delighted with my new purchase

Love having a new clean and thick matt. The long length is so nice, it helps me not worry about placement as much as doing yoga and stretching and jumping longer.

I am 5.6 and decided to go for a long version of Black mat Pro, which was the best decision I could make. Seriously, it is spacious, I do not have to jump back and forth to adjust my position during the Yoga session, and it is wide! I had to use sea salt treatment twice, and now it has enough grip for me not to slide around:) Thank you, Manduka!

I bought this for my partner as a gift. I opted for the extra long since he is over 6' tall. He loves it! It is a great product.

I brought this mat a month ago. I practice 3 to 4 times a week. First, I am breaking it in the hard way because putting salt on the mat and leaving it for 24 hours is not an option for me. I have no place to leave it since my space is small and I have a cat. I am hopeful that by the time spring arrives the breaking in process will be over. I love the width and the extra length. I am also happy with the thickness. I no longer spend half the class repositioning myself to be on my mat. Thank you Manduka.
