The boots fit perfect. I have been wearing two weeks now and have zero complaints. Have not gotten them wet yet. If they are water proof and last a few years, then I would rate them a five star.

Returning this product was easy. Size was not right off! Will try another kind.

The hiking boots feel true to size but just a little tight across the width of foot however the boot is leather so with time they should be broken in and stretch. The soles of the boots are super comfy and supportive. Very nice looking boots and love that they are waterproof.

Fits real good. And comfy too. Will probably get more comfy once it's fully broken in. I use it for work at USPS.

I have had the Madison style before. They are a good all around shoe. The only thing I change is the insoles. The ones that come inside are a little thin for me. Now the first few times Worn this will be a little tight. But the leather will stretch quickly.

Feels slightly narrow but should loosen a bit after wearing, still very comfortable.

My husband uses these for work. He's on his feet for most of day and he raves that these are the most comfortable boots. Gave 4 stars because the front was scuffed when then arrived.

Great fit for my feet and I do enjoy hiking, so it's true to the form for tough rugged hike on trails. It is water proof and leaves my feet dry. For the most part it is durable and I like the way it looks. Great with jeans or cargo shorts. I would recommend for a gift or just to buy one. It could even pass as an all around type of shoe, imo.

I have ordered these boots before just not directly from Timberland. They sent the wrong boots but no big deal

While in REI I was looking to replace my Scarpa Kailash Trek boots. Saw the Timberland boots and thought I'd give them a try (half the price of the Scarpa boots). Tried my normal size (10.5) and I couldn't get them on. Ended up with 11.5. So, my advice is to go one size larger than you normally would. Better yet, get to a store for a trial fit. Weight at a little over 1 pound 1 ounce for one boot is outstanding. Only had them for a month, so I'll be following up on longevity/waterproofing in a year. Loving them at the moment.

This is a nice pair of hiking boots for the price. Perfect for everyday wear.

I have no complaints about these boots.. They felt a little tight at first. i was originally going to exchange them for a bigger size But after walking in them for a few hours they loosened up and fit perfectly, my only complaint is that I would have loved to see these boots in a Grey black combination or even Grey and blue.. Yesss please I'll pay for a custom order. And millions of others probably would agree

Lightweight boot. Waterproof. Wear well.

Needed a waterproof hiking boot for the winter and having worn a Timberland boot before, I chose the Mt. Madden Mid. I received it on time, it fit well, and will be a good winter boot.

I have had these boots for 7 months now and the soles are just now starting to fall off. I have worn them almost every single day since i got them, moat days for between 8 hours and 18hours. I got doctor shoals and my feet almost never hurt. They have really good grip in mud, gravel and everything except in wet tile or concrete flooring they have literally no grip. They probably would have lasted me longer but I use them hard and put them away dirty. If i had conditioned the leather and cleaned them they probably would have lasted me much longer. But from hiking many kilometres on boulder riverbeds, gravel backroads, thick forest and muddy marshes, pouring rain and incredibly hot days these boots have been one of my favourite pairs.
