Long rugged hikes over rocky terrain. Shoes have excellent grip and feel sturdy

I just started working as a mailman and needed some new footwear. Ive loved my Tims for over 20 years. These do not disappoint in comfort but are not even close to waterproof, even on just a damp day.

I tried this one and the White Ledge Mid Waterproof at the same time and found the latter one much more supportive for my ankle and therefore more comfortable. Returning these Earthkeepers and keeping the White Ledge ones. Otherwise they are a solid boot, color is ok but would get a different color if I were to want these.

Been looking for a good trail boot for a while, at any price; have tried too many but landed on these. They are stylish and the leather is somewhat self-healing with a damp cloth but they do scuff easily. I originally ordered a wide because for the past few years all footwear I've ordered somehow needed to be wide, not the case here. The case here is that the wide was too wide and the medium was a tad too narrow but managable with the expectation of either the boot expanding or the foot getting used to it. In time it appears there was a compromise between the foot and the boot. The boots walk nicely, both fast and slow and take no enemies when walking over rough terrain. The only issue still unresolved is a pressure/rub point that is being stubborn in identifying itself. That point is high ankle on the inside corner of the tongue and it makes traversing slopes painful at times. I believe the rub point is the starting stitch point of the elastic strap that holds and centers the tongue but I haven't figured out a way to prove it yet without doing damage to the area. Also the laces, like all shoes and boots being sold these days, are way too long and they are flat laces so shortening and re-ending them is difficult and you can't use round laces in these boots

Even with 2 pairs of thick wool socks and orthotics these were much too big. In fact, they are the second pair of Timbs that were 2 sizes too large. 10 pairs of tennis shoes and keen boots in 10.5, but Timbs are ridiculously oversized.
Can't wear. My feet hurt just looking at them.

Really like this boot/shoe but I wish they had it in one more width size. 2E is as wide as the shoe comes. It is a little tight, but very slight. I figure that I can wear it as it is and eventually it will widen out. I just walked 2 miles in the boot/shoe and I was glad to get them off. What is weird is they seem to rub the bottom of my feet on the "ball area." Maybe I can put some Dr. Scholls foot pads in them.

Used my first pair for hiking and did about 10 hikes in them. I loved them. However, the sole began to split from the boot. Timberland let me exchange for a new pair which is nice since I did like them. Fingers crossed it doesn't happen again in such a short period of use.

Because of supply issues due to you-know-what, I couldn't get a pair of my usual brand shoe, so I decided to give these a try. After a week, they seem very well made. I love the tread and the stitching, and the wide width is very comfortable. Only a few issues - the length does seem a bit longer than usual, the insole could use a bit more cushion, and I wish they had round laces instead of flat ones (the flat laces seem to like to twist around). All-in-all, a good shoe for the price. I'm not bummed that I decided to give these a try.

Super comfortable, lightweight, and I wear them everywhere, But the leather scuffs up quite easily. that's the only negative I have.

I usually have 3 pr of these boots in rotation, and where them almost exclusively. I have my newest pair for church (seriously), the next newest pair for work, and the final pair for yard work, and running around training dogs. They hold up for a good amount of time, and they fit me perfectly, that's the big thing, not every shoe does, and these, with the help of an insole, healed my plantar fasciitis.
The only knock I might have against these is the rubber toe wrap always peels away. It could also stand a bit more depth to the tread. Neither one of these will keep me from buying this shoe as long as they make them. They fit me.

The color is a little different in person than on screen, but it is still a good looking boot.

I love this boot, the color, the style, the feel, everything about it. The comfort is amazing, I wear them as work boots and have no problems at all. The only thing I don't like is that they get scratched up easily but that's a minor thing. I'm going to buy another pair in a different color..

I do not like waterproof, they make my feet sweat but you cannot find hiking boots which are not waterproof anymore. I've had a breaking in period with these, the eyelet rivets at the top of the left boot and the very top of these boots have kind of hurt my feet. Not bad enough to not wear them. They scuff super easy but they're not dress shoes. Not sure if I would buy them again.

Very attractive, multi purpose boot. The color, however, is problematic. One boot appears visually darker than the other.

I bought this product as a hiking boot. It is very comfortable and I will definitely buy again. The only thing I wish I would've known is that the material the boots made out of scratches very easily. Overall, a great pair of boots.
