These shoes are more narrow than other hiking boots. My husband almost always wears a 10 regular and we ended up having to return the first and get a 10 wide, which does fit great. However, he has never had to order a wide before in any other shoe and doesn't have wide feet. Be on the lookout when ordering. The new size is very comfortable and sleek looking though. He loves them.

When you find something that Works, you stick with it Us UPS drivers are death on work shoes; we routinely kill 2 pair every year I've been wearing this particular shoe for over 5yr It's an optimum of comfort, durability, and price ??Thanks, and we'll see y'all before Txgvg ??!

These shoes don't have good quality. After three months of wearing, it's broken. The upper leather part ripped, and not really waterproof, not recommend to buy.

These felt great the moment I put them on. I compared them with three pairs of similarly priced boots from Zappos, and these were by far the best fit. I walked an hour in them in snowy, slushy conditions and never gave my feet a thought. They are light, and the soles are comfortable: firm, but not overly so, and they provided good traction. My socks (I wore one pair of wool socks, which were enough to keep my feet warm) were bone dry when I took the boots out afterward. My wife likes to walk a lot, and I am going to suggest to her that she'd like these boots too.

I bought the wides (EE) from zappos because my local store only had medium (D). I thought perhaps that there would be more room in the wide size. And who wouldn't? But the EE size was exactly the same width as the D. This is nothing against Zappos, of course. But it didn't make any sense for timberland to mark the exact same boot as two separate widths. I kept the (D) size from my local store.

This may seem odd but I use these boots for riding my motorcycle and they are absolutely perfect.

These are by far the best boots I've ever owned. I'm an avid climber/hiker, and since 2018, these are the only boots I've used on trails. I've easily put hundreds of miles on these boots, and they're still going strong. I've hiked in everything from knee high snow in the mountains, to dry summers in Joshua Tree NP, and they've held up through all the elements. If this pair ever wears out, I'm definitely buying another!

I was looking for a warm, waterproof boot that I could use while at sporting events without having to wear big snow boots. Sometimes you just need a versatile warm boot that are not work boots or bulky snow boots that you can not wear with jeans. I found these boots and they looked to be exactly what I was looking for. The only hesitation was it did not say how warm they would keep your feet. I wanted them to be warm so I could stand on the sidelines of my sons soccer games in cold rainy weather. I also did not want hiking shoes either as they are too much like sneakers and typically are not waterproof or warm.. To my surprise, they are very warm and also very light! They look heavy but they are light and comfortable and very durable. I could not be happier with this purchase.

I am on my third pair of these boots- not because they wear out, but because they are terrific. I walk between 2000 and 2500 miles per year. I live in Montana, so part of the year it’s hot and dry, and part of the year it is very cold and snowy/icy. I was skeptical that a sub-$100 boot would hold up well with the mileage and conditions that I work in, but these boots have been terrific. I find the insole to be in adequate, but that’s the case with all shoes. I supplement this boot with a Walk Hero insole and then I find them to be extremely comfortable straight out of the box. I don’t consider my foot to be particularly wide, but I purchase these in an 11 W and find that I have adequate space in the winter for a thick woolen sock and can still get them tight enough in the summer with thinner hiking socks. I wear these boots daily for work walking and hiking and have absolutely no complaints. The attached pictures show my most recent pair on the right and a pair with just over 400 miles of use on the left. They seem extremely durable and reliable for a decently inexpensive boot. I have no complaints about the waterproofing or the old-school style. If you are looking for a good general purpose waterproof boot, I highly recommend these.

The Boots held up well on trek across Northern Spain from Frane, across Perinese to the Atlantic and down to Portugal. Comfort, reliable and strength.

Great for everyday use and cold/hot conditions. I wore them in -20* F snowshoeing trips and fishing in the hot summer. Very sturdy, good for hiking. The traction could be a little bit better. One stitch came apart after 4 years but they are still water-proof and well worth the money.

I bought these when my son started Boy Scouts and I still wear them often. He started when he was 12, he is now 36. 24 years, one pair of boots. Still my go-to footwear.

As comfortable as a light pair of shoes. Versatile enough to wear to a meeting, and hike outdoors. Really happy with this purchase. My last Timberland's lasted me 10 years. I expect these to be around a long time too!

Finally a waterproof hiking boot that is pliable and soft with great support. I have bunions and a sore right second toe that makes for a hard to fit right foot. These are the best boots after 6 or 7 different boots. Thank you Zappos for allowing me to try and return some boots I could never find at my limited shoe stores on the Oregon coast.
