I desperately needed an every day bag as tote bags aren't cutting it anymore! I especially liked the vibrancy of the colors I chose as well as all the nifty pockets for easy finding. No longer am I digging deep into a tote bag to find my keys at the bottom covered in granola bar dust. There is literally a pocket for all my needs -- wallet, lighter, lip balm, etc! Bonus is that it's made from all recycled materials :) Thank you TIMBUK2!

I don't normally use this language - but I am in love with my bag! Quality and color accuracy on point! Just 5+ awesome size offering and customizable takes this to another level. Wish we could customize others.

There are simply not enough good things to say about these bags. My first bag was purchased in 2011 and only now has the inner waterproof layer starting to have tiny cracks where it wears the heaviest. It has gotten me through many of the moments that have shaped me (several moves, a PhD program, travels, and every work day). I've washed it many times in a washing machine and have power washed it a time or two. The OG bag will likely remain as my daily bag until it completely falls apart. However, I'm looking forward to this downsized version for travel and outings.

I bought this bag to replace a 20 year old Timbuk2 Messenger Bag. I was able to configure it to my exact needs and customize the color to match my original! Love it

My daily driver for work and personal life. Plenty of room for my laptop, tablet, cables, battery, notebooks, cables, charger, sunglasses, eyeglasses, pens etc with room for much more. Nice material for the bag, looks really nice as wells. Lots of little tuck away pockets. Really so much space and storage areas that I'm not using them all. Bag is really lightweight as well, compared to my previous. Really impressed with the quality and utility of this messenger. Timbuk2 is no my bagmaker of choice

I love my Timbuk2 bag. My last bag travelled the world with me. India, Russia, Israel, Chile, Antartica, Scotland, Costa Rica, Baja, it had been everywhere. Finally, years and miles later, it just wore plum out. What do you do when your favorite bag wears out? you buy as close to exactly what you had, of course! My new bag is strong, durable, with a few upgrades, but same great quality one expects from the best of the best.

I love this big open cargo bag that I customized to fit my favorite colors, and I added the suspended laptop compartment. It's great! It holds so much without being too heavy nor clumsy. I have taken two business trips the last week with only this bag and the large carries everything I need including a change of clothes, toiletries, and a water bottle. It never felt too heavy, and the bright colors stood out when needed. I don't hesitate to recommend it.

This is my second bag. I'm replacing the first one I bought almost 25 yrs ago. To be clear, the original bag is still in great shape. I just wanted a slightly larger bag with some updates.

I purchased a custom bag. The stitch quality and water repellent capabilities are very good. I was afraid it wouldn't have enough pockets for me, but there are plenty in a large size range. I would definitely buy this product again or as a gift for someone else.

I purchased the XS messenger bag to use as a day-bag. It's been a great addition for my daily work needs and beyond. I got a customized bag with all the bells and whistles (really glad I did for organization). Not only is the bag super cute, it's also durable and practical. I got a small crossbody inside, along with a mini-water bottle, 2 pair of glasses, my cellphone w/case, a small tech pouch, and sometimes add my iPad or day-planner in the added sleeve pocket. I love this bag so much and plan to take it with me on my next Euro trip in the Spring. I might get a more summery-colored bag then. Also, the strap is super comfy (it's wide). I am short (5') and the strap is short enough for me to use crossbody. Love it. This is my second Timbuktu bag (I have a backpack from the early aughts). I am also eyeing a new suitcase.

I use this bag to carry all of my implements for Chaos Magick. There's a lot there and so I thought I'd need a lot of pockets. They are plentiful here. In fact, I think I could use a few less. Overall, I'd rate this and nine out of 10 materials, workmanship, Carry "feel" . But I already knew all that from my messenger friends, Who swear by Timbuk2.

I'm a bag person and this one is perfect for my work needs. It holds everything and has great separation. I love that I can store files on either side of the laptop sleeve which also has a pocket attached big enough to fit a mouse, charging cord, and a couple of note pads.

Wow! I was able to customize the bag for my school colors. I will be back for gifts. Best quality for Michigan winters, too. Impressive!!

The whole bag is great!! I purchased this for my son to use at college and he loves it!! He especially loves the drink holders on the inside that keep his coffee/travel mugs in the upright position, so they don't spill. He created the bag in the colors he wanted, added things to the inside he felt he needed and would help him be more prepared. I would highly recommend this bag to anyone thinking about buying a new bag. Timbuk2 has never let us down and this is the fourth one our family has purchased to meet our needs.

I use this bag daily, for everything--commuting to work, exercising in the park, as baggage when traveling domestically and internationally, to carry clothing while moving house, you name it. A decade and a half of intense daily use and the bag finally developed some tearing; very strong and rigorous. So when it was time for a new bag, I bought the same model! They'll probably have to bury the bag with me; it's so well-made and long-lasting.

The perfect size for the 13" laptop, incredible durability and quality. I wouldn't settle for any other small travel bag. Could fit all my carry on goodies (including a pillow, book, snacks, electronics, etc) with ease, and fits easily under the airplane seat. A winner!

I owned 3 of these bags in various sizes. I write 'owned' because they have been appropriated by my sons and spouse. Timbuk2s are sturdy and accommodating. My most recent purchase is perfect for me. The strap is wide and doesn't slip off my shoulder. It holds everything I need to carry. I like everything about it especially the colors because i was able to customize it.

My last bag lasted 10 years and still had a lot of life left in it but it was time for an upgrade. Love the newer materials and the softer shoulder strap with soft edges is a huge improvement over the old strap that was sharp on the edges. The colors are crust and I love the inside pockets and zips.
