This is a fantastic bag, and the repair service was prompt, professional, and patient. In fact, I just bought another bag as a gift.

This is my everyday bag and it is perfect - holds my lunch, a couple snacks, a coffee mug, my journal, some pens and other odds and ends. The strap is comfortable and the adjustment buckle is very easy and an improvement over the old plastic cam-lever thing that always required a loop of extra strap. Plus this seems truly indestructible. The ripstop fabric has a soft feel to it and it doesn't collect pet hair like plain cordura does. The workmanship is high quality too. And I love that it is customizable.

This size slips conveniently into my backpack for easy removal when I'm on an airplane. It can hold my iPad and other necessities and easily stows under the seat until the flight's over. Then it's a compact shoulder bag again for carrying my camera and things around without being too bulky.

This is my go-to work bag. It is extremely well put together and functional. Being able to customize it was a huge draw to purchasing it and I think it is gorgeous and I have gotten many compliments on it.

I purchased this near the end of 2024, unfortunately there was an issue but lately it was fixed. I'm happy to have my new timbuk2 messenger bag. Around 15 years ago, I purchased my first timbuk2 messenger bag and it is still working. It means the quality and durability is awesome.

Absolutely in love with the size of the small messenger bag! I've owned a large for years that got me through bike commuting to optometry school, but I wanted one I could throw a few board games in, a knitting project and a book, or my laptop and headphones. The custom colors are gorgeous! I chose the crater laptop sleeve, and if I ordered it again I would probably do the normal sling sleeve for my laptop.. it's ultra cushioned, but takes up a fair amount of space and is suspended in the bag as opposed to being a pocket that is secured against the back of the bag. Better for protecting my laptop, less ergonomic for organizing when you aren't slugging your laptop around. Overall, delighted with my new bag!

This was a Christmas present for my wife, and she absolutely loves it. This is her 3rd Timbuk2 bag. She said it took her a bit to get used to the new strap adjustment mechanism, but now that she is used to it, she says it's a big improvement over the old plastic one (which would often come undone too easily). She also feels like this custom bag is of higher quality than her old bags.

The custom bag everyone wishes they had! This is my 5th Timbuk2 bag and again I've fallen in love with it! Great quality and priced correctly, knowing it's gonna hold up for years to come.

- great materials, looks great, build quality looks solid - strap is pretty comfortable to wear - great laptop sleeve built in, feels sturdy - lots of extra organization pockets in the customized version compared to the regular version, like that the vertical zip pocket is now a kangaroo pocket ie can access from either side - wish there was a choice to choose the color of thread as well, i was going for a monochrome look and the contrast thread color

Got this bag as a gift to replace an old purse. It's the perfect size for a daily carry, with enough room for my wallet and necessities, but not so much room that I can't find anything. Lots of pockets make it easy to organize, and the flap keeps everything secure.

Got this for our college bound son. Quality is amazing, custom color choices are great. Was made and delivered promptly. Couldn't be happier except I need one for myself now.

I've used Timbuk2 messengers for years and this is my first new, custom design. As a fan of BMW M division, mine is designed for me. I highly recommend a messenger for easy, everyday use and make it your own.

I use my M/Configured TIMUK2 bag to transport my MacBook Pro to and from work and school everyday. It's durable and waterproof and protects my laptop from the rigors of travel. I love the rugged custom design, the additional pockets, and the adjustable strap. The classic design is timeless. I totally recommend this bag to anyone who is serious about protecting their computing investments.

I got both the xs and small. I like the xs size better than the small size. The colors are super vibrant. Love it!

Love the color & the metal strap buckle. Kinda miss the stable belt for holding the bag stable on the back, did I miss an option?

The 15 year old hand-me-down bag finally got replaced. Love the fabrics, colors, + aluminum buckles of new one. Tried and true, through so many laps around the wild and rough world of...Princeton. Wish I gotten the shoulder pad-

I already have several Timbuk 2 bags, but I built one for my husband for Christmas and he loves it. I like all the new features! I have had my built messenger for over a decade and now I want a new one so I can get all the bells and whistles!

Well constructed and lots of pockets. Both my laptops I use fit perfectly and feel protected from bumps and knocks from daily use. Love the customisability,the only thing I wish for is a little more space for (mutiple) bulky items (headphones/water bottle).

The first small T2 I have bought and it is a perfect size. I can fit a 14" MacBook Pro, compact APS-C camera, notebook and all the other junk I carry every day. I Love the colors - it turned out just as I imagined it. The light beige gives it a bit of a vintage feel IMHO. The red is super bright and the blue is a classic navy. The aluminium buckle is a lovely piece of design and quickly adjusts strap length when I jump on my motorbike and swing it to my back. Maybe Tumbuk2 could set up an option to have a customizable label where their logo is. Best Christmas gift to myself :)

Wife loved the custom bag as a Christmas gift and now I'm jealous I don't have one.

This is the best bag on the market for my purposes. I had an off-the-shelf version of the same bag for a dozen years before it finally started to disintegrate, so this time I decided to splurge a little and get a custom bag to replace it. In retrospect I wish I went a little crazier, because other than the red trim and Chicago-flag-blue stripe in the middle it's basically the same black bag I carried for years. That said, I'm already excited about the addition of the bottle sleeves inside, as well as the laptop padding in the back--both things I added as part of the customization. I've loved Timbuk2's bags for decades at this point, and I'll keep buying a new one as the old one wears out (which, as I said, may take a long, long time).
