Cute, but too heavy for what I want. Seems wide also.

I tried Alegria Paloma in the store in a Size 40, I generally wear a 39 but sometimes I can go up and in this shoe I had to. However I wanted more of a loafer so when I found the Taylor in a waxy black (just shy of patent leather) I had to get them. I ordered 40 since my last experience indicated I should but this shoe was too short. It was hard to get on but the toe box was too short for my 9-9.5 foot. Upon standing my toes hit the front and I knew I couldn't keep them. They are cute in style, the shoe has excellent arch support but being they hit me at the ankle bone and were tough to get on and too short I will try another style.

Love these shoes. They seem a bit short but a half size bigger might be to big. Comfortable, nice color and cut design.

These are really beautiful shoes. Nice thick leather, good support, but the heel is exceptionally wide and I knew there was no way I could wear them. As they are rather stiff as well, my foot lifted out of the shoe with each step. Back they go. Sigh.

These are lovely shoes with great arch support and a roomy toe box. But with my narrow heels, I just walk right out of these, even with wool socks. I must return them.

The shoes look so cute, but are so stiff I can't even get my foot in them. Also the suede inside makes it that you can't wear a sock your foot can't slide. regretfully returning item!

Very cute shoe, a lot cuter in person. Comfy, supportive and overall a great shoe but I have to return them because my left foot is weird. My heel slides out of the back as it does most lifter type shoes.

Very sturdy & comfortable shoe but too wide for my feet. Also color and heel not exactly as pictured which was disappointing.

After reading the reviews that they run small, I decided to go a size bigger. However, they were still small. I am going to return and try another size larger. I hope they fit. I love the style and they felt very comfortably.

Love these shoes, except that I need either 42W or 43 as length is tight, width snug. The first isn't carried by Zappos, and the second doesn't exist. I have knee and foot issues and desperately need good shoes. I so wanted these to be the shoe.

I tried these shoes couple of times at home. I was really hoping they will fit. I ordered 8 W. The toe box is very roomy. Unfortunately, it is too roomy for me. Also, I felt my toes touching the front of the shoe, which might become uncomfortable by the end of day. They seem really well made and comfortable otherwise. Unfortunately, they will have to go back. My feet are too tricky to please. I am so thankful to Zappos for their easy returns policy. I am not easy to shop for when it comes to shoes.

This is a very comfortable and supportive shoe. Great if you walk a lot or are standing all day. I have plantar fasciatis and a hammer toe so I needed a deeper toe box than the rocker type shoes offer. This worked perfectly. The insole is loaded with support. I think the shoe runs a little big but I put a heel grip in and now it's perfect with plenty of room in the toe box. The footbed and sole displace the weight of your foot so it's much more evenly distributed like shoes that cost twice this much. Think Finn. There is a reasonable heel counter to support your ankle. They are very stylish and look so much more professional than my Drew Mary Janes. They really don't look orthotic at all. I like that the tops and insides are all leather. They are tad heavy and it took a little getting used to to walk on a differnt type sole but having said that after a couple of hours, I feel like I am walking on a cloub but still have great arch support. Thank you Alegria for designing a shoe I can wear.

Although I love the style of this shoe, I found the weight of the shoe to be too heavy for me. Wish they could be as light as the Mary Jane Styles that I wear. Please make a lightweight sole and I am sure to try it again!

Great shoe but definitely runs big. I had to exchange and order a size down. It was a tiny bit tight and took a couple of times wearing to stretch out but is now a good fit, supportive, comfortable and looks good.

These shoes are so cute. However, I normally wear a 7.5, so I got size 37 and they were a bit small. When I tried them on, my toes reached up to the end of the toe box. I will be returning.

I'm happy with these shoes. I'm on my feet all day and they are supportive. They're still new, though, so I can't attest to their longevity. The sizing is really inaccurate, though. A size 38 European = size 8 in the US. There's no such thing as a shoe that's size 8-8.5, as anybody with size 8.5 feet will tell you. I wear an 8.5 and bought the 38s, which were definitely too small. I returned them for the size 39, which are too big...this is why we have half sizes, people. Still, the 39s are close enough, and I like them, so I'm keeping them. I'll just wear big socks, I guess.

I bought these and really like the casual look. Don't like the butterflies on the heel so I'll just take a black magic marker to cover this up and it will hardly be noticeable - if I decide to keep them. My only complaint about this shoe is they are to short (I usually wear a 9 1/2 but bought a 10 and they are barely long enough!) and the heel is really wide! I don't know why they made the heel so wide and I noticed that a lot of the other reviewers mentioned this too. I may keep them but haven't decided. Really cute shoe though! High quality leather and heavy.

Not wide enough. Love the look and construction of these shoes but the wide just didn't seem wide enough on one shoe.

Love the style of this shoe, however, they are wider and also shorter that the normal length. If I were to order a larger size they would probably slip off of the heal.

I have problem feet, and have a very hard time finding comfortable shoes. These shoes are a little chunky, but cute for a comfort shoe. They have a nice, thick insole that provides decent cushion and support. I usually wear an 8.5 wide, and tried both the 38 wide and 39 wide. The 38's were too small, and I kept the 39's although they are a tiny bit big and slip a little in the back. Overall, I am impressed with the comfort and would recommend these shoes.

I love the style of the shoe. I have a very high instep and the detail across the top made the shoe slightly too tight. I felt that if I continued to wear they may have stretched. But wasn't for sure so I returned. If the shoe was available in a WIDE They could have perfect.

These are good "go to" shoes for someone on their feet a lot, as I am. They are fairly supportive and quite comfortable. The only down side is that they are truly boxy looking, almost masculine looking shoes. I wish they could have that part toned down a bit. I chose to keep the shoes in spite of their looks because they are practical and does the job for me, and honestly I bought them for working comfortably on my feet than to be fashionable. But if only they could tweak the design a little to look more feminine. That sure would be nice!

Very comfortable shoes that were purchased for a trip to Europe. Without these shoes I would have been miserable. I got them a week before my trip which was good. I planned on wearing heavier sock in them so stretching them out width wise was needed. This shoe is very roomy in the toe which is nice.

I love these shoes -- great arch support, they fit perfectly out of the box. I can't get past the patent leather look to them. I need black but I prefer a napa/matte finish. These are so glossy they look cheap. I will sadly have to return them.

Ordered this in the Red in 41 which is what i normally wear in Algegria and most other shoes. It flopped off my foot when i walked. So will have to return and try a size down. It is a cute shoe. Visually it is a clunkier shoe than it appears in the picture so if you are expecting this to look as slender as a penny loafer you will be disappointed!
