The other reviews said to order one size up, so I was grateful for that. I have a wide foot so they fit great and the support wonderful. I will buy more of these.

The 37 is way too small. I have a 38 I bought a year ago and the leather is stretched out a lot. I love this shoe but not sure if I want to chance another 38 stretching out. We need 1/2 sizes! Thanks Zappos!

Just wore these for work 4 days in a row, long days on my feet. Shoe is a very stiff leather and the left shoe was tight (my left foot is 1/2 sz bigger than right). I used a steam iron to fill the toe bed with hot steam when I wore them the first time and it really helped to loosen up that left shoe. I love them! And they are super cute. I think it will take a little more time to break them in really well, but I did not have any problems in these first four days. This is my third pair of Alegrias.

I love these shoes! They are comfortable and really support my arthritic knees. I am about to buy another pair! In another color.

Love the Alegria Taylor. I have 4 pair. They fit like a glove, and the inner sole feels like a sponge, so comfortable. This particular shoe has a alligator like top, which makes it special.

Incredibly comfortable. After repeatedly injuring a heel over the summer, needed shoes with pillows inside. These are the ones. Also have the shiny black ones. And now my heel feels better.

I take a US 5. I knew I was taking a chance because UK sizing is tricky. The UK 35 shoes were way too big. Too bad because I really liked them.

This is the most awesome shoe I've ever worn! First time I'm trying Alegria and have totally fallen in love. I have wide feet, but very slim ankles, so it's hard to find shoes that fit properly and these are amazingly supportive in the arch (I have fasciitis) but comfy and non-constricting everywhere else. Plus they're not too wide to where my heels pop out as I walk.

I bought these sites as a gift for a friend of mine who had gotten a new job in a retail store and was having a lot of trouble with aching feet. While I'm sure nothing's perfect when you're standing on concrete all day, everyday, she reports that these sites have made it possible to stand comfortably.

These shoes look great, a wide rounded toe so comfortable but the heel is too wide for me. I tried the 11 medium and that was way too big but these 10.5 slip off and my big toe hits the front of the shoe. So I guess this footbed doesn't work for me. Thanks Zappos for your great service.

LOVE these shoes. I'm a teacher and on my feet all day and these are incredibly comfortable. Bonus, they are SUPER cute! I wasn't at work for five minutes and a colleague begged to try them on and is ordering a pair today. :)

I so wanted to like these shoes. I have been searching for the right pair of red shoes for 2-3 years. The color is perfect! There seems to be good support, but they are too wide. I could live with the toes being too wide, but the heal flopped on me.

Super crazy comfortable! The look is a little on the grandma side, but pulls off looking a little funky in a very casual way.

I love the look and feel of these shoes. But they are too small. I ordered the EU40: 9.5-10. I wear a 10 in other Alegria shoes. But these are too short. I need the 10.5 so I will be exchanging these.

Love these shoes, super comfortable. They are so comfortable they are allowing my plantar fasciitis heal and recover. Finally my feet don't after wearing these shoes all day at work.

I don't usually like Alegria's shoes. I want to, but I've never been able to get over how ugly I think the soles are. The Taylor was the perfect solution to my problem - it's cut to look like it has a normal heel, but there's a hidden rocker sole underneath. I love the modern take on the penny loafer, and the little buttons are a nice touch. I could do without the butterfly, but it's small enough not to bother me too much. I'm usually a 9.5, but often size up to a 10 for European sizes. In this case I took chance on the 9-9.5, and I'm glad I did. The shoe was a little tight across the top of my foot at first, but I wore them with thin trouser socks and they loosened up nicely within a week. If I'd gone any larger I'd be swimming in them by now. The heels do slip, but in the same way Danskos do - there's no risk of it coming off.

This is a very comfortable shoe. Flexible sole, runs true to size. Wide enough to accommodate a wide foot.

Looks like a modern version of a penny loafer. The heel is lower than other Alegrias and before I left the house, I debated returning the shoes. I thought it would feel too loose or uncomfortable in the heel. So glad I wore them anyway as that isn't a problem at all. Amazing support, especially for standing/walking all day. Agree with other reviewers' comment the sole "feels" different than other Alegrias (I own five other Alegrias, different styles). I think these shoes an improvement because I have better balance compared to other Alegrias. The sole also has better grip so it will offer more traction in rain or snow.

Like these a lot so I will buy a second pair.

I purchased these for work. They are a little big in the heel so I cut mole skin and placed on heel which worked for me. I hv a narrow heel. The style and cushioning are superb. I’d recommend to all. U might even go down one size see if that works.

I adore the look of these shoes. One feels bigger than the other and it's difficult to ascertain if it's my feet or the shoes. I wore them a bit inside and they felt equal in size. And, after one day I felt pain in one shoe ... rubbing heel and toe. And the other a small blister on my heel. All that said, size 41 with Dansko, for example fits me perfectly. So... I'm confused by these shoes. The insole is dense and I'm hoping it will relax and form to my feet (as advertised). T All that said, if you're a true 41 EU, you might want to size up and wear thicker socks with these. (I'm wearing thin troser socks and boot cut jeans.)

The shoe was great but Zappos is even better. We bought another style of Alegria shoe before in a certain size. When we ordered this shoe in the same it ran a little smaller. We returned it and bought the next size. Zappos couldn't have made the exchange easier. We like the Kourtney a little better but they have discontinued it. This shoe is fine though.

I have a high arch, and my feet are a little wide, but normally a 40 in Alegria shoes works well for me. This time I couldn't get my foot in the shoe. I'm guessing that the arch support is good and that the width runs true to other Alegria, but I couldn't actually confirm with these shoes. I rated 4 stars on comfort and overall, because of the inconsistent sizing. They looked cute in the box.

I really wanted to love this shoe, but have to send it back. Pros: Style is better for the office than most nursing-type shoes. The foot bed felt supportive and cushioned. Cons: The shoe ran a bit narrow and short for me. I'm (unfortunately) a pretty solid 12 but can occasionally get away with 11.5 in some styles so the 11.5-12 range listed should have worked but it was more like 11-11.5. I could feel my toes touching while walking. A sheer sock would work with these, but they were too narrow for me to wear with anything thicker.

This pair was in the final selection group. The shoes are well made. The reason I didn't keep them is the heel slipped. So close to being the right pair for me.
