Beautiful quality looking shoe that is completely uncomfortable. I have a high arch, so maybe that’s part of the problem. Soft suede like footbed covers a hard FLAT insole, almost like concrete. No shock absorption, very stiff leather, no arch support, and the cute metal details are nonstop painful on my feet. I added moleskin on the inside & tried different thicknesses socks, but nothing removed the pain of the metal rivets. Too much work to get this shoe even partially comfortable. Added thick memory foam insoles and heel cushions... size 39 for my 8 med foot was still too large with the extras added. My 39 Dansko are a better fit than these. If these shoes hurt you’re feet immediately, send them back. I though they would “break in” and I was wrong. Very disappointing, and amazed these got any favorable reviews. Maybe if you have flat thick feet these will be okay. The metal hurts even while sitting down.

Cute shoes, but overall run a little small. I have another pair Algeria in size 39 and they fit perfectly. The heel cup is a little tight as well. Just not as comfortable as I would have hoped.

This shoe is too roomy in the toe area. A boxy look. Not comfortable.

These are very cute looking shoes, but I had to return them after trying unsuccessfully to find a size that worked. I am an 8M normally, but the 38 was too small on one foot - like it was a different size altogether. I exchanged for the 39, which feel off when I walked. Thinking maybe the 38 in wide would solve the problem of 38 being too small, I tried that as well. No luck. Zappos service was great as usual though!

First let me say this shoe is very comfortable. I work on concrete floors and stay on my feet all day. The only difficulty with this shoe is the fit around the toe and heel. To not have my toes rubbing I had to buy a half size larger but now after several weeks of wearing, the shoe feels at least half a size larger and both my feet slip in the shoe in the back, which they did not do when first worn. This is annoying, as I have now worn the shoes past the point of returning them and they are now too big.

I bought these so I could remove the footbed and insert my orthotic in them. I purchased WW since all of the wides I've bought from Zappos have been too narrow in the toe box. The insole is very thick so the shoes became super loose with just my orthotic, but they weren't big enough to accommodate both the insole and my orthotic. Ultimately, I decided to send them back.

I really wanted to love this shoe because they are beautiful to look at and seemed extremely well made. The issue is that they only come in two sizes for me. Too large or too small. In the U.S. I wear a perfect 8.5. I've never had problems with European shoes before. But my feet swam in the 39's and my toes pushed into the front of the 38's painfully. I find this very odd that neither size fit me. So it's back to Naots and Clarks for me.

After carefully viewing the description, pictures and reviews of this shoe, I was really looking forward to its delivery. Unfortunately, I was so disappointed when I saw the shoe and even more so when I tried it on. This shoe runs very wide. The toe area is particularly wide and it reminds me of the manner in which a duck's foot widens in the forefoot area. The shoe insert, which is removable, has a well defined arch, however, the insert feels like a cushion, thus allowing the foot to sink into it. As a result, the shoe provides no firm support. Wearing this shoe for even a short period of time, made my lower joints and muscles ache. I have worn Danskos for many years and simply wanted to have a different style of shoe. Alas, I am returning to Dansko.

I have terribly flat feet that require surgery. I wear very thick custom orthotics and wanted a shoe I could put them in for work. Unfortunately, these don't work with my orthotics. When I remove the insole and place the orthotics in the footbed, my foot literally falls out of the shoe and is pushed forward in the shoe awkwardly. I tried leaving the insole in and placing my orthotics on top, but my foot didn't fit into the shoe at all. I even tried using a thinner insole from an athletic shoe with the orthotics and I still didn't get a good fit. If you're looking for shoes to accommodate custom orthotics that are rather bulky, be warned, these may not be for you! Also, the style of these shoes were a bit masculine for my taste.

I so wanted these shoes to work out. I have a few Alegria sandals and the foot bed is so very comfortable. I like the style of these shoes for career wear. I was very surprised that though other reviewers have written that the shoes run large, the wide does not at all. I ordered my equivalent size and I couldn't even get my foot into them. In fact, I thought they had accidentally shipped me a narrow, but they hadn't. Surprisingly, too, they were more stiff than I expected. I had to return them. I still like Alegria though.

This is the 2nd pair of these that I've owned - I loved the first pair and thought this would be the same, but the fit has changed. I cannot wear them...

These are really nice and professional shoes. I wear a 11 wide. These were marked 11.5 wide. I could not get the front of my feet in to my these shoes. They are really made very small.

I love these shoes but could not even get the front of my foot into this shoe. I do not se size 12wide anywhere on these shoes. :(

I received the wrong shoes... same brand extremely ugly, bulky, not a good look
