I love the comfort of the Alegria shoes & sandals but this style ran very wide, ultimately, making my feet slip out. Sadly, they have to go back.

Sometimes I wish you could buy two individual shoes, instead of a pair. I bought these in my standard Euro size 38. The right shoe is just a tiny bit snug - acceptably so, since it will stretch a bit. The left one is almost sloppy on me, so I will have to either add an insert or a heel grip or something. But they are comfortable and the slippage is manageable, like a Sanita clog, so I will keep them.

I wish they made the closed shoes to fit me. The 8 1/2 clogs fit but not the shoes. the shoes come in 8-8 1/2 and 9-9 1/2. 9 would be too big for me because the heel is wide. Really love the shoes, not sure if I should chance a 9-9 1/2. I love them.

I loved the look at these shoes, but they definitely were not wide enough, which is sad because I do love the Allegria brand.

Cute style, soft padding, no arch support. I need arch support so I have to return these.

They are a tad short and not as comfortable as I expected. Prices have gone up but not quality in most shoes today. What can you do?

Love the look of these shoes unfortunately the toebox was much more narrow than my other Alegrias so tgey had to go back.

Love Alegria as I have five pairs of their shoes and certainly longed to get these. The style is a typical penny loafer, without the extra seaming which would allow you to insert a penny. The shoes are leather with removable insoles which can be purchased online or replaced with your own orthotics. Although the look and quality of these shoes is impressive this particular fit was a half size small but the heel area was larger. Hence even going up in size they would be looser still in the heel. In addition, although because they are leather and can be stretched somewhat, the area where the extra strap is was too snug across the top of the foot. These sadly were returned.

I wasn't a fan of the butterfly, but they were in general for what I was looking for for work, and I hoped that these would be good for healthy feet since there isn't a pointed or semi-pointed toe box. They fulfill that requirement, but I found the heel popping up in the back.

Would love to love these shoes, but the wide is not as wide as what I normally get (sad face).

I really wanted to love these shoes but I couldn’t even get my foot in them. They are very tight in width and instep. I ordered my usual 8W but they were way to tight.

Unfortunately, this shoe seems to run a 1/2 size or more large than usual. The size I normally wear was way to big and the size down, way too small.

I love my Alegria sandals. I can wear them walking around all day and my flat arches are supported. These were fine except for the toe area. My toes hit up against the top so I need to return them. I liked the style because a little less basic then other Alegrias.

Expected far more comfort from foot bed. Very shiny (much more than just "waxy" as name suggests---patent leather shiny. Would prefer to not have childish butterfly on heal.

Feels a little snug . I have liked this brand for years but this pair was a let down thank goodness it was on sale . If they don’t loosen up around house they will go back. Thank you Zappos for great service and taking shoes back with free shipping !?

wish i had noticed reviews about size before I ordered. this shoe runs SMALL. these shoes were recommeded by the podiatrist i saw for a toe fracture that is not healing. he measured my feet in office at 8. I ended up returning the shoe for the 9-9.5 size and wish i'd had time to reorder the 10. Otherwise, they seem good. Not too unfashionable for an orthopedic type shoe

Pretty stiff, and fit more like a clog because it slipped so much at the heel.

I needed a pair of shoes I could slip into after surgery and these did not fit my needs. They were very stiff and would need a lot of breaking in and even then I don’t know they would ever slip on without bending down to them.

I read the reviews and got a 42, without the reviews would have ordered a 41. The shoe was huge. I am returning and not reordering a 41 because the heel cup is very deep and the edge rubbed my ankle bones. too bad, because these couldn't be cuter.

I bought the 37 and generally wear a size 6. It fit fine and was quite comfortable, but I didn't like the way they looked. They look fashionable online but the actual shoe looks more like a clog. The arch looks lower to the ground than pictured. They are being exchanged for another Alegria style.

This style was too tight & didn't fit well at all. They were returned.

I really wanted to like these shoes but despite ordering a half size up from my usual size these shoes were still just a little too small and cramped in the toe area.
