I plan to take a trip and will be doing a lot of walking. I purchased this shoe because it was all leather including the lining. The shoes are just as described. Beautiful leather inside and outside. However, the size conversion did not work for me. I typically wear an 8 1/2 or 9 , medium width US. I purchased a 39. But it was too short and a tad wide. I have to return them.

Love the look of this shoe! I ordered the regular width though, and they are too tight across the instep. I don't usually need a wide, but it seems I will need it with this pair.

I love this shoe, but I just can not wear penny loafers. The seam over the baby toe is very painful for me.

I've been looking for an everyday loafer to wear with my casual sun dresses, leggings and shorts. I've found it in the Alegria Taylor. They provide the necessary support needed for me to run behind my young granddaughter, for walking my little Yorkie, and going on day trips with my husband. They are very stylish and I love the easy care patent finish. The insole has a great cushion and I don't feel leg fatigue while wearing them. I find that they are even more comfortable when I wear the no-show nylon lace peds/footies. I always look polished and put together when I wear them and always receive numerous comments, as well.

Love these shoes!!! I took them out of the box and wore them for a 10 hour shift. Wish they weren't so shiny, but who cares when they feel this good.

I almost ordered up and I'm glad I didn't. My Barney Rubble feet fit perfectly in this sharp loafer style. They will work great with pants for the office and with scrubs for hospital go lives. They are short and do run small. The wide perfectly fits my wide across the toes and narrow in the heel. The arch support is perfect. I will collect these in every color.

This is a super cute show! I find the styles to run a little tight at first but the more you wear them, the more you they will fit your feet. This style in particular rubbed too much on the outer ankle bone, just below the knob. Had to return. But a beautiful shoot! And super comfortable otherwise. I find it was true to size. I'm a 6.5 through and through; rarely vary.

Very comfy! Very wide! I wear a 7.5. Sent the 38 back to get 39 for the length. Still put in an extra padded insole under their insole and wear thick socks to keep them on! But they are so cute and a little funky and very comfortable.

I thought I might not like the shininess of this shoe but it looked so cute in the catelog. I was so pleased when I got them and they were really super cute on my feet:) Love these cause they are cute and cumfy!

Love love this shoe. It's absolutely gorgeous in person. But I couldn't keep it. I have a wide foot in 10. I tried the wide in 10 and in 11, but neither would fit. I think my arch is too high to get the shoe on. Perhaps if there were a double WW. But a stunning shoe none the less. Zappos, AS ALWAYS, is so great. They of course, accommodated my trying both shoes on and returning them.

These are my favorite shoes for anyone who is on their feet all day/walking a lot, but wants something that looks a bit more corporate than some of the nurse style shoes.

Love love love these. I wear them to an annual conference I attend, where I average 20k+ steps per day and am on my feet constantly. I go back & forth between the regular and wide width inserts for when my feet are swollen and my feet feel great. No pain.

I love this shoe, but have to return it. I normally wear a 39 in Altria. When I ordered a 39, it was too small (toes hit front). Then I ordered a 40. It is huge--at least a 1/2" longer. So, even with bulky socks it flops off the back of my foot. I really wanted to love and keep this shoe. The quality is superb, but I just the fit is off for me. Zappos, of course, is stellar with service and returns. There's no one like Zappos!!

This shoe is really cute and timeless. It has Alegria's typical great arch support. However, it runs just one size too short. Given there is only 1/8" between shoe sizes, that's not too bad. However, because the toe box is stiff, I'll need to return this for one size larger.

Purchased and received this shoes last week and am in love already!!! Amazing comfort, great style and will be getting more of these is a definite!! True to size and highly recommend!!

They are a bit tight, but with a little stretching they are perfect. Well built and comfortable. They work well for me to wear for work, church, or just casual dress. Great support. My feet like them.

These are awesome shoes! I have bad feet and these do not bother them. Yesterday walked over 7000 steps in them and my feet did not get tired.

I wear a 9.5ww and I have plantar fasciitis. Based on the prior reviews I should have ordered one size up but I didn't and the shoe did not fit! I reordered the equivalent of a 10.5 and it was snug in the length?! I put a shoe stretcher in it for a few days. It fit but I found them stiff. There was plenty of room in the toe box but the interior footbed felt like an orthotic. That first day the bottom of my feet were achy, like when you are breaking in a new orthotic. I stuck with it because the width was good and nothing else hurt. On the third use, they now feel good, supportive and I can be in them the whole day. They are nice looking for an orthotic shoe, look good with pants.

A friend told me to try this brand out and said it was one of the most comfortable brands she had tried. I worry when people say that since I have numerous foot issues but she was right!! No break in period needed and they feel grea!! My foot is wide and the width supports my D width foot. I did go up a half size after reading other reviews.

Very cute shoe. I had major surgery on my right foot so this isn't the right shoe for me at this time so I had to return them. I could get the left one on and it was comfortable, roomy, and an overall great casual shoe. Hopefully I can wear this in the future.

This is a great shoe! I have several pairs of the Paloma style, and I love them. These feel and fit the same way. The biggest difference is that the soul on the Taylor has more flexibility. I thought this would work well with trousers, which it does, but I also like it with jeans and skirts. I would have needed to order up a size from my usual if I was going to wear thick socks, though.

These are beautiful and well made shoes with a comfortable sole. They are attractive. I did size up as others recommended. Unfortunately, even the wide was too tight across the top of my foot - a common problem for me. Sadly, I will be returning these.

Beautiful, classy upgrade to the old style penny loafers. I tried 3 sizes but none were a perfect fit, unfortunately. So returning all three.

For some strange reason when my feet are measured they never measure that my feet are wide, yet regular width shoes leave my feet feeling crammed into any shoe I've purchased in the past. So I try to purchase Wide Width shoes, especially closed toe shoes and not pointed toe shoes. These loafers are fantastic. The quality is above excellent. I did have to bump up to one size larger which again is odd because usually I've had to go down a size when purchasing a Wide Width. I'm sure that once broken in these shoes will be by far the best pair of casual with comfort shoe I have ever purchased. Spot on Zappos.

While I love the look of these shoes, their last (the mold the shoe is made to fit) is very straight on the side. If you have a bunion, these shoes may not be for you. Alegria shoes are apparently like so many better shoes, made for the woman who has no noticeable bone protruding at all at the base of her big toe.
