This shoe was super cute, very comfortable and extremely supportive. I am disappointed to return it, but the "Brush-off Brown" is sort of a weird metallic-y brown. (I actually cannot think of the proper word to describe the finish.) Perhaps it's the resolution on my laptop, but even knowing that, I can hardly tell looking at the picture, so I thought I'd let people know. I wish the shoe was made in just a regular, basic brown...they would have been perfect!

I wear a 8 size shoe, but these were way to tight. Shoe hurt to much to notice the arch and width, couldn't wait to get off, didn't reorder because I'm not a fan of the patent look. You can call it black waxy, but it is patent shiny leather, not waxy. Sorry it's a no for me, not everyone like in your face colors and patterns.

I wanted to love these shoes. But they wouldn’t slip on comfortably & the metal studs in the design of the shoe were uncomfortable. So unfortunately they are going back.

Cute shoe but was too tight across the top of my foot. Love Zappos free shipping and returns so I can find the right shoe.

So I've had these since they first came out, and they're so comfortable, I just love them. But mine stretched out so much that they're almost unwearable now. So, I love Alegrias, and I really super-duper love this style and fit, but they just didn't last, the leather stretched out so much that they're the equivalent of slippers now. Bummer.

I ordered the size 40, my toe bumped the front. Returned for the size 41, and it was much too big. Not sure why the sizing was so off.

It was a bit big but that I expected but it was far bigger than I thought it would be. My Jolene are so comfortable and I thought these would be too. Au contraire! I am sending them back and waiting for the Joleen to come back in stock.

The style is just whatI wanted, but….The leather used in the shoe is so rigid that, once I got the shoe on, I couldn’t wiggle my toes or anything! No chance of comfort!

These shoes run a lot smaller than other Algeria. I’m hoping the size larger will work for me.

ordered my normal size and wide width. they are so small i could barely get my foot in. width is good. they are very heavy unflattering shoes.

Sorry, but this shoe did not do it at all for me. Not only is it very tight - I had ordered 9-9.5 in wide - and received size 39 W but I could barely get my foot in it and it was so hard and stiff that I can not imagine this being a comfortable shoe. Has to go back.......

The 38 Wide almost fits -- toe hits the top. 39 Wide is WAY to big and not nearly as wide as the 38 Wide. A shame -- these are beautiful work shoes!

I ordered this shoe hoping it could replace my Golden Gate Dansko's. Nope. The leather wore out pretty quickly and appears cracked at where you foot naturally bends. These look like a pair of bad orthopedic shoes.

I couldn't even slip my foot into this shoe. Not wide enough.

I found materials felt cheap to me. I have bunions and was hopeful that the medium width would fit based on other reviews. It pinched. I was willing to forgo styling for comfort but was disappointed. The leather was stiff

Couldn't come even close to getting my foot in this shoe! Don't think going up a size would help - they were extremely stiff - can't imagine wearing these.

Modern classic professional. Great if your job has you on your feet and on the move.

I was worried when I read the reviews that the shoes run large, but the size 38 fit me perfectly. I usually wear a 7 and 1/2 to 8 in shoes and consistently wear a 38 in Alegrias. Very comfortable and cute with a dress or jeans.

Loved this fit from the size up with the exception of toe rub on one foot. Sadly going back.

This is my 4th pair of Alegria Taylors. I have skinny heels and wide toes and these work great - they are a loose clog fit. I will keep buying them - as long as I can get 'standard' colors and finishes!

too narrow

I absolutely love these shoes. They were comfortable out of the box. I followed prior reviews and ordered a size up. I feel they run a half size small. The support is amazing as I am on my feet all day. I wear them everyday. The only issue I have is they squeak a little when you walk. It’s a little annoying but everything else about these shoes outweighs the squeaking. I wish they had more styles similar to this
