Cute shoes, but did not fit. I ordered the wide width, but could barely force my foot into it. The shoe itself is relatively wide, but the instep is very shallow. The back of the heel was also too high and cut into my achilles tendon. The padding on the bottom was very nice, though.

These are the first shoes I have found in years that can accommodate my oversized orthotics, other than gym shoes! The actual shoe inserts are probably even a littler larger than my orthotics, so I need to exchange for a size down, but I really think these shoes are winners.

I LOVE Alegria I have several pairs size, 39 and 40. I have wide feet but have not needed a wide width with this brand. This shoe for me runs much smaller than other Alegria styles. I just ordered a 41 because I had to return the 38 and 40.

These run small. I normally wear a 39 (8-8.5) in other brands. I ordered the 38 here because it is listed as 8-8.5 but it was too tight. The 39 was much better.

These shoes are not only comfy, but cute with the little butterfly on the heel. I bought a red pair last year and liked them so much that I bought two more pair this year (one in brown and one in gray). I would highly recommend this product to a friend or relative.

Lovely shoes! Super-cushy insoles. Sizing runs surprisingly big - I ordered my normal size but I need both the original insoles and my orthotics for the shoe to fit. Still, very comfy and worth using my American-dwelling aunt as a courier. Wish you shipped to Canada!

Great shoe, great support and looks good. I've awful feet and had to face the fact that stiletto are forever out of the question for me. But I love these shoes.

These shoes are absolutely beautiful! The leather is delicious and the workmanship is great. I had to return my first pair because they were too narrow for my bunion to be comfortable, but re-ordered in a wide width which with a pair of heel pads will fit perfect! As always, you rock, Zappos!

LOVE these shoes! As a teacher on my feet all day, also with a recent foot surgery, I love knowing my feet won't ache at the end of the day! Also, for Alegria, I find these more professional looking.

Excellent comfortable shoe! I'm a road warrior and on my feet traveling all the time. I have no tolerance for uncomfortable shoes. These are extremely comfortable. My only wish is that they made a similar style with a little more heel (wedge heel) and maybe not quite as wide in the toe box (I worry a little bit that these look masculine).

I underpronate and have bad knees so I need shoes that provide lots of cushioning. And they need to look good with a business suit. With this pair of shoes, I can stand all day in them and they look like a loafer with a thick sole. They are great! They do run wide so I needed heel pads.

This shoe rocks. Fit is spot on, true to size, over all just great. Alegria and Zappos rock my world.

I ordered size 41 regular (I wear a size 10.5 medium) but the regular width on this shoe was like an extra wide? They are so cute and well made but the fit is very very wide. The length was like 10.5.

Alegria Taylor sizing is off width wise. I usually wear a 10.5 medium and these shoes in size 41 are 10.5 in length BUT the regular width was more like extra wide?! The quality of these shoes was excellent and so cute, but I had to return as they were so wide that I couldn’t walk without the shoes falling off my feet.

I purchased my size (36) and a size up (37) due to reviews that this model runs small. This larger size went on and off, fine--in fact there was about 1/4th inch of room all around my feet (including above my instep). The sizing and the stiff/heavy materials translated into wearing cement bags on my feet! The shoes are quite attractive, but unwearable for me. :(

Ordered this in size 39 (European size) which is 9-9.5 in U.S. size. Love the feel of this under my feet; however, as with any shoe, not everything is perfect. These are heavy on your feet. They feel bulky but are very comfortable if you can get over that fact. They fit pretty much true to size; however, I normally wear a size 8 to 8.5 in U.S. shoe, so I'm thinking that 39 is not actually size 9 or 9.5 but that doesn't really matter much. Comfort is the key here. I felt that my ankles slipped out a bit so I wan't totally sold on these.

These shoes were cute enough but there wasn't enough arch support. I have to return them.

Ordered 6.5 wide. It was an ok fit but not great. I didn't think the shoes looked nice enough to wear with dress slacks and weren't comfortable enough to keep.

Upon getting these shoes I usually walk inside the house with them for a good bit. Never tried them at work because they developed “the Alegria squeak” while just walking around my home. They all get that squeak at some point but these were immediate out of the box.

The shoes would be functional for work attire, but slightly tight on right forefoot. There is not a bunion there, but it rubbed. The shoe leather is stiffer, so that may have contributed to the pain.

Maybe it would fit if you usually take a size 9, but go up a size if you take a 9.5. Did not like them enough to try next size up.

Due to the reviews I read, I ordered 2 pair--one in my usual size, and one size up. The shoes were beautiful and well-constructed. While the insoles were cushiony, I found the rest of the shoe too heavy, stiff, and unforgiving to my tender feet. My usual size fit, painfully. The next size up left 1/8th inch room all around my foot so that my foot knocked against the stiff materials--also painfully. I returned both pairs. : (

I loved the look of this shoe--penny loafer style! However my normal size in Alegria is 38 and in this shoe they were too short so I exchanged for the 39 and they felt great in the length with socks but my heal would not stay in the shoe even with thick socks--kept slipping up and down. With Plantar Fasciitis a slipping heal is not a good thing. Regrettably I am having to return these.

Really cool looking shoes and I love my other Alegria shoes but this style just wasn't comfortable for me. Tried 2 different sizes (41 wide & 42 wide) and no luck. Too restricting for my toes. It's a shame because I really like them, the patent leather is great.

Cut shoes. Can tell they'd be comfortable, except that they are too short and a bit wide in the heal.
