If you're looking for a form-fitting, waterproof and warm winter coat, look no farther. This jacket is cute enough for walking around town, but functional enough for a walk in the woods in winter time. It's water proof shell will keep the snow off and the reflective omnishield helps keep you warm without the addition of a secondary liner (keeping you looking trim)! The sleeves are very soft and are not super tight on my arms. As a petite person, I appreciate that the Columbia XS has sleeves and bodies of appropriate length. I could have fit XS to M, but decided on the XS because I didn't want too much space between my body and the coat.

I liked so much. Its what I was looking for.

Bought this jacket for next winter. Moving to Chicago from Miami and was recommended to buy this jacket. Quality is great and fits well!

I got this jacket as a gift from my boyfriend as an "I'm sorry we're getting buried in snow, but hey at least you'll be warm" gift lol. And warm I am! I got a medium and it fits perfect! It's waterproof and works great for wet winter days. My only wish to make it even better would be if the pockets could be on the side and the belt a tie belt instead, but either way it's super cute and warm! I get lots of compliments on it too!

Colorado weather can be very unpredictable and this coat was great for the price!

I wore this coat in England, the temp was around 45F with underwear and light sweater inside and it was enough to keep me warm. I like the color, it is not the bright red but just moderate and the belt design makes me looks more curvy. The length over butt is just right, some coat or jacket is shorter and you have to wear another pants or leggings, however for this one you don't have to. BTW, I am 6'6" tall and 132lbs and wear size M is just fit.

I love this jacket! I did a lot of research before purchasing a new winter jacket (I live in a city in Upstate New York that gets an enormous amount of snow every winter) and I ended up choosing this one for its warmth and aesthetic. I couldn't be happier, I've never been cold in the jacket and I've also never been uncomfortably warm either. I'm 5'2" and it still hits me at a nice length without looking over-sized. The pockets are very handy and the belt is easy enough to buckle and unbuckle that I use it every time I wear the jacket. Highly recommend!

My boyfriend purchased this coat for me and bought my normal clothing size, small. It was a little small in the chest/shoulders with a sweater on. So I returned it for a medium and it was great fit. I'm in Michigan and during the single digit temps this coat has kept me really warm and was very comfortable too. I love the belt to add shape to a true winter coat. I love it and so glad I got this gift!

I love this jacket!! I looked all over the internet and in person for a fitted warm jacket to replace my 20 year old bulky winter jacket. I live in San Diego so I don't often need a heavy coat, but I was tired of wearing an oversized, unattractive black sack when I did need one. This jacket is completely warm but it has a tailored cut, a belt, and that adorable faux fur on the hat. I have already worn it out in the rain at the San Diego Zoo and it lived up to my expectations. I was completely warm and dry zipped, snapped, and buttoned into my new Columbia jacket. Lots of fun inner and outer pockets to keep everything you need handy without a purse as well! I can't recommend it highly enough!

Super warm! great against the wind, sheds water, keeps you dry and cozy. 4 outside pockets/ 2 zippered and 2 close w/ snaps (snaps are strong), including roomy inside pocket at chest level. Hood stays up. Belted/ belt is appropriate length and easy to use. wind buffer at neck can be closed for extra warmth. Coat covers my upper thighs, Light weight. material on inside keeps you from perspiring if you are exercising/ skiing, etc. zipper works great. zips up, then snaps over zipper. Arrived quickly. Haven't had super cold weather here yet (coldest its been was 22F) but I'm confident it will keep me warm/ dry all winter. Excellent stitching, etc. I think this coat will last for many years/ well made. Black color looks more like a dark gray, but no complaints here =) LOVE THIS COAT! giving away most of my other winter coats. very attractive for my figure, I have an average figure (I'm 50 YO, height 4'11" and weight 122) I bought the same coat/size small for my daughter in mineshaft color which is light gray, it fits her perfectly and she is 5/2, slimmer and fitter than me.

Warm coat , chic and great quality. I did my research before going for this coat. I made a great investment. This coat covers my behind but doesn't go past my knees, has a reflective lining great for keeping you warm during the day and keeping the wind away during the cold winter nights and plenty of useful pockets. The material is somewhat water proof , it kept me dry during the strong cold rain. I've got nothing but compliments from my friends. I got the pond color and it's a nice shade not army green or sea foam green , something in the middle. I also got large size because I like some room in my winter coats.

I purchased this coat last year at a local retailer. It is awesome! I purchased the flint gray color and it's beautiful and unique. I am someone who is always cold and I wear this in all but the coldest weather (for me, that's 35 degrees and below). This coat isn't bulky but it's warm and for most people, would probably be warm enough for most weather. The pockets are large and can easily fit a phone, keys, smaller wallet, etc. Things work as they should and are where you'd expect them. The coat sheds water, is warm, and looks great. What else could you want? As far as sizing, I am a 4 or 6 on the top (I typically purchase a small) and a 6 on the bottom (5' 5.5"; 130 lbs). I purchased a medium and can fit warm layers under it. I usually just wear a sweatshirt, though. It's slightly roomy but I'd rather have that than have the coat be restricting. So, the general consensus with these reviews that the coat fits slightly small is true for me, too. I don't like things that fit tightly so that might be another reason why I like a slightly looser fit. I love coats and go through them in a few years because I find that after living with them for a while, they aren't as practical as I'd like. This coat I'll have for years! I love it so much that I'm hoping to purchase a longer coat for colder weather (maybe with down, too) and plan to purchase a Columbia product since I love this one so much.

I've received this coat as stated on delivery date, and so far, I've been wearing it to wherever I go. The Omni-Heat thermal reflective lining inside is what kept me warm since I'm always in short sleeve because I'm not the sweater type person, I get too hot easily. I love my new coat and hopefully it can last me through many years of winter.

After poring through the reviews, I decided to buy a size up. I'm 5'2" and ~125 lbs, normally a size Small in most clothing. However, I carry more weight in my torso and I read others' warnings in the review section, so sizing up was definitely a good call. Product arrived swiftly, and has been doing a good job of keeping me warm in the NC winter....which is relatively mild, but feels chilly to a California native! It fits nicely with plenty of room for layering. Admittedly, it's a little long in the sleeves, but I think it will be less of a problem as the winter gets colder and my layering thickness increases. The double zipper is a little finicky at times, but it hasn't been a huge issue yet. I love the lined pockets and collar!

I absolutely love this jacket! It's comfortable, very warm, but not bulky. The dusty purple color is beautiful, and more plum than purple. It is very true to size: I'm 5' tall, 110 lbs, 34B and the XS fit me perfectly.

This coat is very comfortable and fits great. Don't know how warm it is yet because it hasn't been cold yet but it seems like it will be nice and warm. Comes in quite a few colors too.

So toasty and warm! Has a foil-like interior without a lot of noise. Very pretty color. Tight in my hips but I love it enough to keep it for when I lose a few pounds ;)

This is a fantastic coat! It keeps you toasty warm on those cold days, without the fluff of a pouf coat, or a hiking/bright colored outdoor coat. I love the casual look, that goes with most of my attire. Also, faux fur!

I've worn it for winter travel all season. Keeps me warm and dry, and cute. I'm 5'9", 170 lbs and the XL feels like it was made just for me. Sleeves are perfect length and it covers my bum. Would be great if the hand warmer pockets were a little deeper. Love this coat!

I love this jacket! I live in Upstate New York and it has kept me warm during this current winter. The length is exactly what I was looking for. I am 5'4" and it sits at about my mid thigh, a little bit above the knee but covers my entire rear which is what I wanted. It is very comfortable. The jacket is not too heavy and does not make me feel like a marsh mellow. The hood is a tad too big, but I have a small head. Overall very pleased with this purchase!

I've loved this coat. It's been perfect for me so far; it's kept me warm (even though we've only had temps down in the teens so far). It's kept me dry in the rain and protected me from wind. It's not too heavy either, which has been great. I'm pretty cold natured, so I've loved having this coat so far this winter season. While the coat runs true to size, I would recommend sizing up to have room for any bulky clothing underneath. If you're like me, you may wear lots of layers. So I got a medium to have room for sweaters or even a lighter jacket under this coat if it gets really cold.
