I ordered several coats from different stores online,ALL similar styles sent them all back immediately after trying them on. It is not bulky and I sit comfy on subway or in car. This coat is very warm the cold doesn't go right through me, no sweaters sweatshirts etc underneath.Many pockets with closures that work great to eliminate bulky purse. We've had 2 nor'easters since buying it,It was great. I am extremely happy with my coat.

Fits well, has a lot of inside and outside pockets, I am 5'4" 136lbs Medium size fits perfect. It is my favorite winter coat.

I bought this for my 18 year old daughter who will be going to college in the cold north next year. I have a similar jacket and it keeps me very warm.

This coat is perfect, I wanted something that didn't stop at my waist, (I'm 5'7) It stops just below my bottom. It hasn't been that cold but in the 50 degree weather short sleeves and no sweater its perfect

If you're looking for a functional, warm, stylish coat...this is it! Light weight, great color (Black is more gray, but perfect)...dress up or down. You will not be disappointed.

This is the exact coat I have been hoping for! It is stylish and I love the charcoal gray. The coat fits well and seems to be great quality. I look forward to wearing it and enjoying it for a LONG time!

I'm 5' 4" and 116lbs and ordered a size small in the purple. The jacket fits just perfectly and has enough room in the shoulders and body; however, it is slightly tight around the neck and around the legs when I sit to drive. I have a difficult time zippering all the way up to the neck. If you want more room to layer and more room around the neck, I would recommend ordering a size larger. With the hood on, I don't feel a chill and the sleeve cuffs and the Omni Heat are added bonuses that keep me warm. The belt is good for style and also for preventing the air from going up the jacket and can be taken off if wanted. I love the fleece lined pockets and the pockets in the inside lining.

cute design and warm. It's 25 degree today in MA, I was out door doing errand and this jacket kept me warm. I am 5" so the length is fine for me. Thanks Columbia. I loved your other products too.

I had a Columbia ski coat from 2008, and when I got this coat I was shocked by how thin it was in comparison! But this coat is a real champ, believe me. It puts up with most temperatures in a NY/MN winter, and Lake Effect is no problem. When it gets below zero I put a fleece on underneath and then it's toasty even at the bus stop. Other people say that this runs a little small, I didn't have a problem when I matched my measurements to the size guide, but when I wear my college sweatshirt it's a tight fit. If you really want to layer, I would go bigger but you don't really have to with this coat. Bonuses: - The shoulders move really well, the seams are designed unconventionally so it has more give while looking great - The length covers my thighs and butt while not making me look even shorter like some longer coats - Lots of pockets! Minor issues: - 2 of the inside pockets are in an inconvenient place because you can't really get to them while wearing the belt, but there is still one inside pocket and extra ones on the outside - The belt loops are not quite at my waist, they are closer to my hips which makes for a weird silhouette, but I belt it without using the loops and just put the belt in my pocket when I take it off. It's not a real inconvenience though.

This is the first jacket I've owned that is not only waterproof but also keeps me warm even in very cold temperatures. There are also numerous pockets which add to its convenience. Would highly recommend!

I ordered the light color and love the color. The coat can either be worn as a casual coat or take the hood off and belt the coat and it becomes a dressy one to wear on a date. Love my coat!

I have only had this a couple of weeks but in Missouri you never know how cold its going to be. I'm happy with the style and function as well as fit. I'm broad shouldered so its a little snug in that area. I also have a very hard time finding anything long enough for my arms & this jacket covers my wrists, even when driving!The belt takes some getting use to but is easy enough to loop and unloop. The double zipper makes it easy to sit and still look good and be comfortable.

I have LOVED my new coat so far. Pockets are placed in an odd spot much like other reviews state, but they are deep and handy and not bothersome at all. The coat itself is stylish but completely comfortable and warm.

I bought this coat for walking our 80 pound lab through the cold winters. I thought that would be the only thing that I would use it for. Instead, I love it so much that I wear it everywhere! It's a great looking coat and is very warm. I have received many compliments on it! Love the belt! I usually wear a medium but bought the large to accommodate heavy sweaters/sweatshirts underneath.

I purchased this as a gift for my fiance. She loves the color and the warmth and easily thinks it is the best coat she ever owned. She wore it during ice skating outside and it kept her nice and toasty. Looks like it costs more than it does. I would recommend this coat.

I love this jacket. It's very warm and has lots of pockets for all your necessities. I also like how the furry stuff can be taken off of the hoody. The length is nice too and how it covers my hips. Recommend this to anyone looking for a warm and nice looking jacket.

I went to a clothing store and saw this jacket but they didn't have it in my size. I immediately went online and order it. It met every expectation I had. It was comfortable, functionable and practical. It also looks good and goes with just about anything. It keeps me warm in single digit or below weather too!!

This is a great winter coat! Super warm and comfortable. I took the fur off my hood but it still looks great. I wasn't sure about the belt but I love it! Overall, this is a great buy.

This is genuinely the most perfect winter coat! It's warm without being too bulky. It's completely waterproof (I even tested it under the faucet and the water rolls right off!). It's extremely functional with a ton of pockets, zippered and buttoned. And it's cute!! I've gotten so many compliments on it already and I've only had it for a week. If you're considering it, buy this coat!!
