Great coat, was just small! It's warm and fashionable which is great!

I bought this parka for urban wear. It has nice styling and is well made, but unfortunately it's apparently designed for very active use. It's warm to about 35 degrees at the level of activity typical for someone getting around in a city. At colder temperatures, it's not warm at all. The sleeves have virtually no insulation, so I feel the cold in my arms no matter what I'm doing. If I'm waiting for a bus or otherwise standing in the cold, my core is freezing, too, even if I'm wearing other insulating layers. There is a very big difference in the type and level of insulation needed for low/moderate activity and active/recreational activity. People experience the cold differently, but I wouldn't recommend this for someone who tends to be cold and isn't going to be generating a lot of heat with activity. Manufacturers need to make this clear in their performance specifications.

The coat runs a little small, I tried the Large at the store and it fit a little big, so I order the Medium because they didn't have it at the store n it fits a little small. And as far as the omni heat interior it does not keep you warm. I live in Chicago and it's 7 degrees and the interior feels cold when I'm outside. I wish I would have not bought it and gone for something else.

This coat did not hold up below 25 degrees F. It was only warm after I layered another whole fleece beneath it! I live in MN and this did not cut it at all for me. It's a cute coat, and I get lots of compliments on the belt, size, and color. Size M for 5'3 135 lbs is perfect. But if you get it expect to have to layer other things beneath...:-/ I wanted a coat I could throw on over regular clothes. This is not even as warm as my wool peacoat!

I bought this coat in Large for my daughter, who is a size 12. It was too small, though, and I had to return it. I'm waiting for an XL.

I love the color, Omni-heat (never too warm and stays dry), pocket space is great, and the length is good. My disliking for the jacket is with the belt because it looks unflattering for an apple-body shape and when sitting down, the jacket bunches awkwardly. The hood is heavy and works well for wind prevention when up. But if not in use, it's uncomfortable and restraining in the neck.

I purchased this jacket for my Seattle trip and snow activities looking at the reviews but it is a complete failure. The jacket doesn't warm up like others say. I tried my husband's jacket for comparison which was not insulated but a regular puffer jacket and found it 10 times warmer. Totally disappointed, will be return it !!

I bought this jacket early this year and was so very disappointed. The Omni Heat in the jacket lining that is supposed to keep me very warm actually had the opposite effect. I was extremely cold in it, and the lining made me colder. The arms on the jacket are especially cold. I had hoped I could use the jacket in late winter early Spring, but the lining still made me colder. I have never experienced anything like what I do when I wear this jacket. Do not waste your money on this item.

I purchased this coat and returned it, it is a beautiful coat, however it is not made for taller women, if you are my height about 5'7 the belt will fall all the way up under your chest not at your waist like it is suppose to, and when you sit down the coat will slide up and you will notice you have to keep pulling it down when you walk, and if you have a larger size chest then it really will be uncomfortable. I'm just giving my honest opinion beautiful coat but Columbia wasn't thinking about the women who are taller.
