I love this jacket it's so cute, I get compliments on it all the time. I'm 5 2 124 lbs and a small fits perfectly. My only concern would be for others who get cold easily. I love the winter and often get over heated in other jackets but this one is perfect! If you tend to get cold easily you may want a heavier jacket

Ordered this jacket on-line and love almost everything about it! Fits true to size, comfy, lighweight, flattering for my figure. The only drawback is that the material collects every object of lint, dust, string. I have a knit scarf that cannot be worn with the jacket because it leaves little bits of fuzz everywhere and looks weird. But I would still recommend it becuase I love the look and the fit. Make this coat again, Columbia!

Pros: This coat is so warm. I love it. I wore it for the first time the day a massive snow storm hit the East. I walk a lot so I need to be warm and this coat more than takes care of that. It has several functional pockets. I'm very very petite and the coat falls perfectly mid-thigh and the sleeves are also the perfect length. Cons: The fur trim is removable which I thought I would like, but the hood is not deep so when I pull the hood forward the trim comes off. The coat runs a bit tight around the neck and arm pits. These are the only reasons I didn't give it a perfect score.

Loved this jacket. It was the perfect color. Perfect style. But it was too small. I'm a plus size and was hoping the XL would fit. The generous sizing wasn't generous enough.

I would have loved this coat if it had fit me properly. I decided to get a belted coat because puffy, warm, coats tend to make me look puffy as well. Unfortunately, the belt sat so low that it wasn't even on my waist, it was nearly on my rear and looked very odd. I am a little shorter than average (5'3"), but I have tried other belted coats from Columbia and they have hit me in the right place. I wish it had fit me, because I liked the coat otherwise: warm and waterproof (although I never got to test it out).

I'm 5"9, 155lbs, with average shoulder width. Ordered a size L and there was barely under-arm space for movement. It would probably fit narrow shoulder/chest type of body frame better. The jacket comes with beautiful faux fur - what a pity.

I could barely squeeze into this coat wearing only a t-shirt. The sleeves, however, were a wonderful length. It is a beautiful coat, well made and flattering. I have not decided yet whether to try to size up or give up, but I can't wear this. Very disappointing. I never tried this in cold weather, so I have no comment on the warmth.

I waited months to buy this jacket till it went on sale. The quality looked nice but the fur on the hood was very stiff. The minute I put it on I could tell it wasn't going to work. Fitted way to tight through the chest area. It also seemed to be pretty thin as far as warmth. I normally wear a small to medium in clothes so I ordered the medium. Sadly had to return.

Jacket was nice and I like all the pockets. I'm not one to carry a bag of any kind so it's nice to have a place for the little I carry. Material is a bit stiff and gives a bulky feel when you sit but it does keep you warm. The hood seems a little awkward as well, almost a bit too big.

I am a petite size 6. 110 lbs. 5 foot tall with average chest, shoulder, waist. 35-26-37. I order 2 sizes, XS in Green/olive color, then Small in Beige color. The color Olive is not the same shade of green u see in the monitor, it's more like a greyish or paded olive green color. The XS fits ok, but a little tight if I have to wear a thicker sweater. the small size fit good with a little more room for layering. They both look good the only thing I notice on both the coat is the style of the seem in the shoulder area, it's looks like it's design for people with a broad shoulders, it's looks like it's a padded shoulder look when I tried both of them on, not proportion to the rest of the style of the coat. It's just look weird. It's a slimming design but shoulder is just bad.! I bought a Columbia Omni heat coat last year in a different style, I always feel the Omni heat effect right away when wear it, but this 2 Carlson Pass coat I did not feel the heat effect. So the cold rating..I'm just not so sure , So they are going back to the store.

the size is not right, especially on the thighs area. its not long enough. in terms of warmth its good for winter but not Alaskan winter, so i would say up to 32F. 0 c.

Cut and style- strong potential. The color (pool)- pleasing. The construction of the coat and material would be the strongest selling point. I see how the coat had so many positive reviews- it feels as if would be keep one warm and dry without bulk. The deal breaker for me- the collar. I immediately took off the funky (poor quality) 'fur trim' but there is no way to remove the bright white faux sherling lining to the collar. And, the way the collar lies, this white material is very visible. I found it jarring and that it resulted in a much more casual look in what could otherwise be a more classic trench-coat look. I wish they had either skipped it or at least made it the same color as the jacket so it would have stood out less.

LOVED THIS but hip are was not wide enough to zip. SO SAD. Wish it was offered in XXL. Was light feeling yet warm. Love the Plum color.

Really wanted to keep this jacket for a ski trip - had all the features I was looking for. However the armholes are just too small for layering. Going to a bigger size makes the rest too big - looks like a sack that doesn't fit

I am 5'5 128 lbs, and have broad shoulders. Based on a few reviews I thought the small would fit me. When I tried it on, the inseam near the armpit was tight and the shoulders were a bit snug. The arm length was perfect and the jacket itself seemed to fit fine except for those two issues. I will be returning this size and I have placed another order for a size medium. Will keep you posted.

I love the fit of the coat but am very disappointed that this doesn't keep me warm. I live in ND and we have had a very mild winter here so far. Even on days when it has been above 30 degrees my arms become chilly in this coat. Where is the warmth??? I like the coat and unfortunately since you have to wear the coat to know if it performs I cant take it back.

The color from the on line screen is not similar the actual goods. The actual goods is like grey not like the screen color "Mineshaft". I'm disappointed the color"Mineshaft". I think it should be more like brown color on goods.

I live in central WI and am a person that loves the outdoors but unfortunately gets cold easy. I have always been a lover of down coats but don't like the bulk that comes with them. I figured I'd give this a try since it is so much thinner. I love the way the coat looks but am disappointed in how warm it keeps me. It is very nice for mildly cold weather (25-40 degrees and not a lot of wind) but when it is truly cold I am definitely not warm enough. I think I will go back to a down coat next time.

Nice jacket, all sorts of pockets, very warm. I ordered a small and am 5"10, 135 lbs. Arms were pretty short and it was tight at the neck. I returned it! Not a tall person jacket.

I need a jacket for cold weather trips, and this one is super comfy, and lightweight yet still warm. It has a nice structured cut and waistband so you feel feminine in it. But the area from waist down is very straight with no space for both bootie and thighs (my blessing and curse)... so, back to Zappos it goes.

Nice but runs small. I had to send the coat back and didn't have time to wait for a larger size.

I bought this jacket in large and xlarge in white and black. The color are fine, same as picture but I consider it a little small. I normally wear Large but it was too tight and for that reason I ordered xlarge. The belt is weird, was high is not in the waist and I think for that reason the jacket looks weird over me. Its warm butis not the warmest jacket that columbia has. Im going to return them.
