I have to stand outdoors and wait for public transportation daily, so I was looking for a very warm coat. I have lived in Boston my whole life, but I am still not used to the frigid temperatures we get here. This coat really helps. For the really cold days I wear a fleece underneath. I am 5'2, about 130 lbs and the medium fit perfectly. I have no issues with the belt being too long or anything like that. The only major complaint I have is that when I leave my gloves in the coat pockets, it looks lumpy and funny. Other than that, the coat is warm and perfect. The faux fur isn't the prettiest compared to others I see with similar styled coats, but it's very easily removable if you desire. The purple sage does look a little more purple in person than in the photos. Can't say it enough: I love it. I get complimented all the time. I love that I finally found a warm winter coat that is not full of feathers. #crueltyfree

Let me start off by saying that I have never written a product review in my life, but this coat needs to be praised. It's practical and cute at the same time, an impossible combination to find. It has kept me warm during the most brutal winter I can remember and I get compliments on it all the time. I am 5'5", 150lbs and a size small has plenty of room for layers. Seriously though, I can't say enough about how warm this coat is...so well made. If you're trying to decide between this coat and another, do yourself a solid and go with this one. I hope Columbia makes this coat forever, I'm a fan for life.

I love this coat! First off, it is a very slim fit. If you are wanting a roomy big baggy coat, this is not for you. Prior to purchasing this coat, I was wearing an older oversized heavy coat, so when I first tried it on, my first thought was it was too small. But its not. It fits perfectly. I was worried about buying a Medium, and considered sizing up, but I am glad I didn't. The next size would be too long in the arms, and also the belt. I wear a size Medium in all of my clothes, so to me this is true to size. It is light weight, but it is very warm. I have worn in it 0 degrees weather and it is warm. One of the features I love is that it has a cuff in the sleeves...so you do not get any drafts or snow up your arms. It is a nice cozy feature.

I bought this jacket for my girlfriend for Christmas and it came in within a couple days of ordering. As a present it was a huge hit and she loved it, but it turned out to be the wrong size. I did a live chat with Nate P. in Nevada on Christmas night and in just a few minutes had an exchange jacket ordered and it actually arrived Friday morning. (less than 48 hours) service after the sale was excellent! The jacket, price, ease of ordering and later customer service was incredible! Thank you Zappos!

I bought this in large for my mom who's 5 feet tall and weighs 140lbs. She likes the fit and the color. She has not worn it yet. Will do it in the upcoming winter. We will see how warm this jacket will be for New England.

True to size, warm, stylish and just the right length I was looking for. I love that the cuffs are ribbed and snug. Lots of pockets. I use this coat for work(hospital) which I have to walk about a mile to and from the parking garage.

Live in Wisconsin. Bought one a couple of years ago. Wanted another coat that covered my butt and had a belt. The pink is perfect. Already had it in purple. Definitely buy again.

I love this coat so much, it's warm, cute, flattering! It has so many pockets, four on the front, and pockets inside, some you can zip, others you cant, the fleece in the hood makes it so comfy.

The Jacket was even better than the photos, I think it is super warm, but still I need to wear it in the winter to be sure how warm it is. My size is small and I ordered a small jacket but the sleeves are long for me.

Best coat for skiing and cold temps! Runs a little small so size up for great fit. Went snowmobiling and snow tubing and super cold temps and was plenty warm. Love the fit and then belt.

Terrific coat!!! Bought this for winter hiking. I did not want anything with real "down" horrific process on birds. So happy to find this cute, warm jacket with no down!!! Highly recommend!

This coat is incredible! It's flattering, warm enough for Wyoming winters, and comfortable. The material is kind of noisy and the fur on the hood doesn't go quite as far down as I would like for it to but neither of these things affect my opinion of the coat in any measurable way. I am more than satisfied with this purchase, it excelled far beyond my expectations!

The color is so pretty, and the fit is great. I'm 5'1", 120 lbs. The sleeves are plenty long. The jacket is nice and warm, the belt prevents cold air from getting in.

Ordered a size small, and the fit is perfect. I am 5'8", 115 lbs. I was concerned that the sleeves would be too short; they are not! Love the belt. It keeps the cold air out. This jacket is not bulky. It keeps me nice and warm - it gets pretty cold here in New Hampshire.
