Love this boot! I bought the grey and it's a wonderful charcoal grey so almost a light black. They can be worn with pants or a skirt. Very glad I bought them.

As always, ultra fast service from Amazon. The boots arrived fast and fit wonderfully. I wore them around San Francisco. No blisters, no scrunched toes, just shoes that fit. Easy on and off and they're very cute.

Also couldn't get my foot into it. Something off about the way the shaft is designed, maybe? I'll try again with a larger size and see if that works. But I'm worried that they'll then be too big. Returning these.

Amazing boots! I love them. They are so soft and comfortable, and look like I have had them for years. My favorite boot, and worth every penny.

Loved the look of these boots, but they were wide in the calf and ankle. Jane 14 are much better and smaller!

My husband gave these to me for Christmas two years ago. After wearing them the other day, all day, when I took them off, my thought was, "These boots just keep getting better." They dress up the casual stuff, and they make the dressy clothes look cool. Amazing. You will love them.

I absolutley love these boots! I just wore them for the first time today to run errands and I was amazed at how comfortable such a heavy cowboy style boot is on the foot. It is like these were made for my feet! I got the tan suede which is a beautiful neutral with some slight aging effects that will go with just about anything. I cannot wait to prance all over town with these awesome boots, I will definitely be buying more Frye's in the future.

I love these boots! They look great with jeans or with a casual dress or skirt. In my experience Frye's do tend to run a bit small. I am usually a 7 1/2 and the 8 fits perfectly.

My second pair of Frye 'Jane 14L' boots! I have a high instep, and I slipped the boots on effortlessly. Perfect heel height, very comfortable, my toes are able to wiggle freely. I wear a 7.5, and that's what I ordered. Very pleased with the fit. An extremely comfortable boot.

Absolutely beautiful boots, but not for small calves. I'll be getting zip Fryes instead.

Really nice boot. Great versatile color and the texture is a little bit cowboy tough. This my second pair of "Janes." Plenty of room in the calf for skinny jeans, very moderate heel that won't kill your feet. Beautiful Frye leather. Looks great with skirts too.

I love these boots! They are worth the price. I can wear them to work, and out afterwards and still look great. They are sexy, but subtle and understated at the same time. They are very comfortable to wear after broken in and I can keep them on for hours. I have a wider foot, so for me they are true to size.

I purchased three pair of Frye boots and couldn't wait for them to arrive. Sadly, the Jane 14L was a disappointment. Although they fit well, which is saying a lot, given my athletic calves. The construction is superb but they are a bit much for me. This is an intense, heavy boot with a very military look. I returned them and will give the Paige style a try.

I love these boots but they look black not grey, do you have any variation, ligher ones?

Two words can describe these boots, "HOT DAMN"! If you're one of these gals that have trouble finding boots with a larger calf size, worry no more. It was if they were custom made for me! WOW!!! NICE!!!

I love these boots. I got them in dark brown oiled suede. I was a little worried about whether my calves would fit, but they stretched a bit and now they're really comfortable. I normally wear a size 7 or 7½ and ordered these in a 7½, which gives me room for cozy socks.

Love these boots! They look great with skinny jeans and slip on so easy. I am a teacher on my feet all day and these are very comfortable.

These are my favorite 'dressy' boots. They are very comfortable and go with everything! They are a bit wide in the calf but not overly so.

Bought these in another color & felt like slippers right out of the box - the black, though, doesn't feel like extended sized. Wondering if the regular size was packed by accident? Have to return, they are hurtful in the leg area but hoping to exchange for another pair & have better luck. Also went up a half-size so I could wear thicker socks!

These boots are truly beautiful. Sadly, they didn't even come close to fitting my 16 inch calves with just tights on. I ordered a size 9. I've noticed this with several pairs of Frye extended calf boots recently when this did not used to be the case. They are going back.

I returned an 8.5,which felt way too big. That is my normal size, so I ordered 1/2 size down. The boots are beautiful, but needed some adjustments. At first, I could not get my foot in the boot-- too tight at the ankle. Once on, the shaft was uncomfortably tight. My calves are on the big side, but not terribly so. I decided to stretch the boots. Only thing handy was towels--necessity is the mother of invention! LOL! By simply shoving towels into the boots, I was able to stretch them enough that my foot slides in and the shaft is comfortable. (I let them sit with towels in them for a week, rearranging and checking every day or so.) I expect that wearing them often, and a good coat of leather conditioner will soon make these my "dream boots"!
