This shoe immediately rubbed against the back of my heel. I'm not willing to take a chance on whether they will break in, so I'm sending them back.

The back of the shoe is too high and painful to me.

Cute shoes & pretty soft feel, but flimsy - felt like they'd wear out fast. And virtually no support - these feel like fast fashion, not the Born I know & love. :(

I am sorry to say, these shoes as high as my expectations were from other reviews, have left blisters on my wife's ankles. I believe after one time wearing them, we are going to need to return these. We purchased these with very high expectations but have been so disappointed. We love the look, and we are BORN shoe fans in the past, but these have not been good for us. I hope we can return them and maybe exchange them for something else, as my wife is a teacher and comfortable shoes are a must for her profession.

These shoes, remarkably, were wide enough and yet didn't slip off my heels. But the toe-box is too shallow and pushed down on the top of my toes. Had to return them.

Because the leather for the brown Julianne was very stiff and not like the pair of navy Julianne's that I just received I need to return them. They are not comfortable on my feet. I am very disappointed.

These are very uncomfortable shoes, not for you if you have to be on your feet even part of the day.

These shoes are cute, but I wear a 9WW, and these were very narrow, and the toe base is cut too low. I have bunions, and they were very tight.

The picture did not show all that I ordered as being "foldable" in the middle. I personally do not like this style. I wanted a "normal" leather flat. This is the "new" foldable type that I found to be way too small. I order 9.5 M all the time. This shoe is not for me. Toes especially are tight.

I usually like Born shoes a lot, but these were lacking in style and quality. They are very plain, and the rubber sole makes them look very casual. The 8W felt true to size in the brown, but the black 8W felt smaller and developed a crease in the toe box as soon as I put it on. The brown pair I ordered also had a spot on each side that looked worn or scuffed. For the price, they were not worth keeping.

It seems that Born has cheapened its design. I have 3 pair of this same style and these seem both sized smaller and made much more cheaply than in the past. Disappointed.

Ordered in my size 8.5 W - Tow box felt tight and I couldn't walk around without the pain of the back of the shoe digging into my heel. Returned.

I wanted to love this shoe, but the left shoe is giving me horrible blisters on my heel.

A bit too short. Arch support was decent. Material was quite scratchy - blister central! Returned....

They weren’t as nice as the photos. They were curled up. I returned them.

I really wanted to like these shoes. I have narrow heels, but the back end of the shoe fit nice and snug. However, the toe end of the show was too small for my feet. I usually wear a 9.5-10 M shoes, but these were too narrow and felt a half size too short for my toes. I could see my toenails poking the top of the shoe. I wish Born offered a 10.5 size option. Have to send back.

Fit true to size in length. Toe box felt really narrow. Felt too “old lady” like for me, and I’m not even 40!

They fit tight but will loosen with wear I assume. The color is not what shows on the website, I don't like the actual pasty brown. Not returning in honor of the late owner of Zappos, Tony Hsieh, who inspired me.

I have four more pairs of the Born Julianne in different colors and textures. They have been my work shoes for about the last 10 years. Unfortunately, something isn't working for me with the new ones. First I ordered the same size as my other shoes and they were too tight & short. Then, I ordered a half-size up and received a pair that had a defect in the toe so exchanged them for a new pair. This pair is of a slightly different cut and no longer works with my foot; the leather seems much stiffer/harsher than my old pair. Don't think going up a size will fix this, much to my disappointment. Guess I will have to go out live shoe shopping to find a new style/brand that will work. I'm broken hearted that this shoe no longer works for me. I still have some that aren't too worn out that I can wear. Something has changed about the cut & manufacturing....

I love the pewter color and the goes-with-anything style. Unfortunately, I'm back to looking for my go-to shoes because these are just killing my feet. The arch support and insole padding is not nearly as significant as I need. The worst part is the fabric liner. It felt nice at first, but it pulled out on both shoes and is just a mess under the balls of my feet now. Even if I get it fixed, it moves while walking. It's causing major discomfort. I have heard great things about Clarks, but I won't be buying a style like this again.

stiff material, my expectation was a soft feel. half size smaller and narrower for me. I wear 9 M. I did not like that the tip of the shoe points upward. uncomfortable to wear right out of the box, my big toe could be seen pushing through. I don't think they are worth the money for the quality. decided to return them. some people reported they don't wear well and show increase wear after 6 months. I can see that as being true.

These were very, very snug and for nearly $100. I could not take the chance that they would loosen up. Sent back.

This is not a good brand for wide feet. Even the wide width size is too narrow.
