I love the comfort of a Born shoe, and this one didn't disappoint, but I wasn't pleased with the color or style. I was anticipating a truer gold color, but instead found the shoe looked like a slightly streaked silver and coppery-gold color. I wear a 10, so this might not be the case with a smaller size, but the toebox looked especially pronounced and round. I am returning.

I really wanted to love these. The arch support and cushion is definitely better than the average flat. Ultimately they got returned because the stitching around the heel and sides was very scratchy and irritating. Also, the design in person wasn't as stylish as I was hoping.

My excitement turned to dismay once I received these. I did not find them cute or pretty at all. To me, they looked like old lady ballet flats. They covered too much of the toes. Also, I found they ran big. I will be returning them.

I am on my feet for over 12 hours per day and these shoes are so comfortable. I feel like I am walking on a cloud. I am concerned about the quality of construction because after only two weeks of wear the patterned fabric insole has come unstuck and now bunches up during the day.

These shoes are a basic, comfortable flat but not quite as comfortable as one might expect. Liked the rounded toe. One serious word of caution. The soles of these shoes are very slippery in wet weather on some surfaces, like sidewalk grates and smooth stone. I found myself on a series of sidewalk grates during a light rain and I felt like I was on wet ice. Needless to say I didn't make it to the concrete and took a nasty fall. It really took me by surprise. I've never had soles act like that. I now think twice about wearing them in rainy weather and I'm very careful where I walk with these shoes if it is wet. It seems like a problem that could have been avoided with better design/material of the sole. The patterned design on the sole is functionally meaningless, or perhaps even part of the problem.

I wanted to like these. They are sleek and don't gap on the sides. But the back of the shoe came up way too high on my heel. It would definitely have left a very nasty blister.

I loved these shoes, but it was clear after one hour of wear, that they were too tight and that I needed more arch support than these shoes offered. Unfortunately they do not make wide sizes. I'm very disappointed to have to return these shoes.

These are super comfortable shoes. I have owned them for almost a year - I commute on public transit and need something that looks nice for the office and is comfortable for walking, and these fit the bill. Much more supportive than your average ballet flat. My big complaint is the fabric lining on the insole -- it is a cheap synthetic fake velvet fabric that gets really smelly after wearing these shoes for a few months. I mainly wear them with tights but occasionally wear them with bare feet - big mistake. Now they smell terrible every time I wear them. If Born would get leather footbeds, they've have a customer for life right here, but currently I won't be replacing these when mine are worn out.

Comfortable flats but they don't last long, the fabric lining quickly starts slipping back and eventually gets so bunched up under your toes that you have to throw them away.

I love Born and live in their sandals, and was really excited to finally, hopefully find a comfy flat. These felt both too short and too boxy at the toe - my big toe nail hit the top of the shoe, where it's hard and won't actually soften or stretch. I'm a size 8 in flats, and while I could get these on I could tell it would be problematic at the heel in no time. Also felt a little less styling' than I had hoped...more like something my mom would wear.

While I really enjoy Born shoes, I love the look of these flats. I must say this is the first time I have ever had to say something negative about a Born shoe. I have had these less than a month, wore them a few times thinking they needed to just be "broken in." However, I will not wear these shoes again. On the back of the shoes, both rubbed up against the back of my ankles so bad that within an hour of walking, both were rubbed so raw they started to bleed. It was so painful that I took them off and bought a cheap pair of shoes where I was just so I could walk back to my car.

I was expecting a lot more with this shoe. First, they are too casual for work for me. They just look like foot boats that I've slipped on. Second, I wish they had more padding inside the shoe. Last, I thought the material at the heel was rough, and I knew I'd have a blister stat if I wore them for an extended time. They might work for a different occasion and someone with less sensitive feet, but not for me.

I loved how this looked out of the box but when it was on my foot the cut was too low on the sides so my foot "splayed out" - which is not a look that I like. For someone else they could be fantastic!

This shoe is more gold toned than silver toned. I needed sliver for an outfit so I had to send back but if I wasn't specifically looking for silver, I would have kept them.

I bought the same style shoe, Julianne, by Born in different color 3 months ago. Great fit and feel. Ordered it again in navy blue. I will keep it, but it fits tighter all over.

Let me preface this by saying I have a very hard time finding flats that fit well. These shoes are mostly comfortable and the look is very nice. However, the heels did rub and the toe box was quite tight. I tried padding the backs but the shoe was still a bit tight. If I ordered up a size (I am a 7.5 and ordered 7.5), I feel my foot would have been slipping. Wish I could keep these but am returning.

Wanted to love this shoe, although it has a great padding in the footbed it has really rough stitching, so I either have to wear a thin sock or put in a shoe liner. The leather is soft which you expect from born but it has blistered my foot because of the fabric edge trim which is also rough. It is just okay.

These will work if your feet are shaped like a rectangle. If they are like mine, narrow heel and wide front, they do not fit well.

I found these ran true to size. Sadly, they did not fit like a glove and were not that comfortable. The leather was nice. The back of the shoe comes up too high for me and rubbed my achilles tendon. I have this problem frequently but it was disappointing. The shoes also rubbed my outer toes on my left foot. Sadly, I will be returning these and my search for the most comfortable yet decent looking ballet flat will go on.

I have several Born flats and I was walking out of these so they run big. The black finish felt cheap and plasticy despite them being leather in material. I'll be returning them.

I love this shoe - the color is great, the leather is soft, and it looks cute on. BUT, breaking it in cut deep into my skin and its been painful. I think the shoe is worth it but the 2nd day I tried to break them in (about 4 days after day 1) I had to wear 2 bandaids. Ouch.

I purchased the Julianne in Navy. The finish on this shoe is very casual, it does not have a consistent finish. Description states leather so polish would probably improve the uniform finish. The shoes I received weren't scratched just scuffed... I am returning I wanted a more dressy looking shoe.

The leather was very soft and the shoe was comfortable, but the stitching around the top of the shoe attaching the elastic was very thick and scratchy. I returned the shoes because I could tell from just trying them on they would rub and irritate my feet and it did not seem like it would soften over time.

This shoe is cute and I liked the color. The leather is really soft but the show has no support. The arch support bump is nice but the rest of the foot bed is hard so I'm sending them back. The Clarks I ordered had way more cushion and support.
