Oh man, wanted to love these shoes but they tore up above my heel. Ouch. Didn't return them, because my heel bleed all over them (they were proper size for my feet, the rubbing just killed me and made a bloody mess)

This shoe fit narrower than expected. I normally wear a medium width, but not with this shoe. Otherwise, I understand what other reviews say about the comfort. Had to return.

I really wanted to like these! The stitching at the top of the shoe really irritated by skin. I could only wear them for a few minutes. *sigh* My search for the perfect pair of flats continues.

I really want to love these shoes! The footbed is so comfortable and the styling is so cute. You can wear these with any outfit - dresses, pants, work or casual! Unfortunately, the back of this shoe cuts into my heels terribly, even with padding added. By the end of the day my heels are absolutely raw and I'm hobbling in pain. I wish I could return these, but I've already worn them twice. Unfortunate feature for what would otherwise be such a perfect shoe.

I loved the look of the shoe, especially in this color/pattern, but they were a bit too tight in the toe (I have a very wide foot at the toes) and I thought a wide would slip on my heel too much, as the regular width was almost slipping. The band around the top sort of cut into the top of my foot as well.

Initially I really liked the look and feel. There is a cushioned arch support. But the back of the shoe quickly dug a hole into where my achilles tendon is. I added some padding there that I bought at Walmart, so that doesn't rub any more. But the shoe feels tight over my toes. I would size up 1/2 a size if I were to purchase again. But these are not good for those with flat feet or plantar facitis. The sole and sides are not firm enough and you can easily have oversupination. I wore these to a bridal shower I was throwing and was on my feet for five hours straight. My feet and legs were killing me for three days later because of the lack of support in these shoes. Never buying them again. But for short events where I sit most of the time, they'll be ok and do look nice.

Sadly, while I love the style and to date have done very well with Born on my hobbit feet, these flats pinch my bunions. Usually Born 8 accommodate my knarled toes, but not in this style. I bought in two colors, but won't get any more because of the pinch.

I don't know why no one has mentioned the insole in this shoe? I couldn't wait to take them off. The stiching and tag on the sole was soo annoying. Yes, the shoe is comfy on the toes and heels but as for support, sorry, can't say there is that much. I was standing at the sink washing dishes, and couldn't wait to take these off my feet. Also, I thought the plastic looking bottom was very cheap looking. They are going back.

This show is very cute, looks well-made and has excellent arch support, which you don't often see in a ballet flat. However, I have to return these because the back dug into my heels and the front pinched down on the top of my toes. I so badly wanted to tell myself that they just needed to be broken in, but not before my heels would have bled.

I usually really like Born shoes. These seemed just what I wanted. I usually wear a 8.5W and ordered an 8.5R b/c Born run wider in the toe. These were fine in width, but the elastic around the top of the shoe was rough and rubbed on my foot. I could have dealt with that, but there really wasn't much cushion in them. Between the two, and the price, it just wasn't worth it. I did like the simple look of them though.

I bought these shoes because I always need a good pair of flats for work and airplane travel, etc. these have more support than a lot of flats, but not as much as I had hoped for. They do rub a little and will take some breaking in. The front toe portion comes up a little higher than what is "in" right now. Overall they are good shoes and are somewhat fashionable with some practicality thrown in.

The shoe was less comfortable than most Born shoes I have had. There was not a lot of support--possibly because a ballet flat would not look like a ballet flat with a lot of cushioning. The leather is nice and I think will mold to my feet so that over time it will not feel too narrow as it does after a couple of wearings. Nevertheless, this is not a very comfortable shoe. I was hoping to be able to stand or walk in them all day and found them uncomfortable after a few hours.

I ordered 10W and that's what was marked on the outside of the box, but the actual shoes in the box were 10M. I kept the shoes and wore them anyway because I hurt my knee and needed a flat shoe for Easter weekend and had no time to shop. Naturally, they were snug and the left shoe scraped up the back of my ankle. With a dress they looked like slippers, but with jeans they were cute. They don't gap at all along the side, but it could be because they were too narrow for my feet. I would like to order another pair for the summer, I hope I get a wide this time. I will leave another review if/when I get the wide.

I ordered these shoes in Navy for my 12 day trip to Europe. The shoes I received look nothing like the photos. The pair I received are a faded distressed strange color blue. However they are very comfortable, just like the other reviewers have stated. I am returning them in hopes of receiving an actual Dark Navy as pictured.

This is a decent pair of shoes, though the M width was a smidge too narrow for me at the toes -- I don't have bunions, but I could tell these would cut into the side of my big toes. The inside felt a bit too marshmallow-y for me, though the support from the sole was fine (not as much support as I would like, but much better than most ballerina shoes). The W wasn't available, so I guess I need to look for another pair of shoes altogether.

I loved the fit and feel of these shoes. I have a relatively wider size 8 foot and it fit well, giving full toe coverage. The black leather was soft and comfortable but unfortunately after wearing them 3 times they looked like I had been wearing them for 10 years. They became scuffed and the leather looked dull and very worn. I was disappointed since I have always loved Born shoes.

I wanted to like them (soft leather! arch support!), but the toe is oddly bulbous - like an old man's nose...

While the shoe did have the padding and arch support I'd hoped for, the top of the shoe cut into the top of my foot and made these a no go for me.

The color is not uniform and may appear rather blotchy and I found the 9 (which usually fits fine) tight and also unusually tight in the toe box. For these reasons I am returning. Born is known for comfort - but these fell short of that expectation.

This shoes are okay. They will serve the purpose of plain shoes that go with a lot of slacks for the office.

I'm still undecided about whether to keep these. I bought size 9 in Noche (tan). They're solidly constructed and have good cushioning with okay arch support. But the shoe cut into my heel causing some bleeding. I may try to bandage my heel next time I wear them and hope they'll stretch out.
