The high back cut into my heel. I think that may be a problem with all these types of shoes the curl up.

had to return too narrow. too bad bc i loved the look.

Sadly, so small and tight it is unwearable. Back it goes...

These are the prettiest, most flattering flats I think I've ever tried on. And they even have moderate arch support, which I was thrilled to discover. But I must very sadly send them back because the edge cuts into my foot above the big toe knuckle. I don't have bunions, though I do have a wide foot and narrow heel. If only they would soften the edging of this shoe I would have found the first pair of ballet flats that fit, flatter, and stay on. Someday!

These were not comfortable, which is why I got them. They claim to have arch support, but not enough for me k guess. They also tend to scratch up easily.

The toebox was too long and this shoe overall looked a little dowdy for my taste.

First, I really like Born shoes. I have had some for years and my size of 9M is very standard with this brand. I have wanted to try this little shoe for some time. The inside of the shoe is quite soft and the instep is excellent. It has an elastic band around the top which is not too tight. It is a simple ballet-style. It does not work for me, because my toenail pushes against the top of the shoe and that makes it uncomfortable. So sorry, I wanted it to work.

I was really excited about these shoes. I ordered size 41 and 42 since I wear between a 10 and 11. However, even the 41s were too big. They slipped right off my foot. I am thinking about ordering a size 40, but I feel that will be too short.

Disappointed. At first, I thought it would be comfortable because the material felt soft and the bedding seemed supportive. The shoes also seemed to fit. But after a couple hours - most of which was sitting at my desk, walking to a couple meetings a few floors up - my pinky toes were screaming for mercy and my heels were raw from all the rubbing. Fortunately, I had my sneakers with me and so I switched to those.

These are my office flats, which I've had for over a year now. They're nothing special, but they get the job done. Fine for being around the office all day, but I don't like to walk more than a few blocks in them, as they have very little arch support. I mean obviously, they're a flat... but as flats go, I'd say these offer at least a little more support than others.

Classic flat, very comfortable right out of the box, true to size, and just what I was looking for...but had to return because there was a very conspicuous noise with each step - loud enough to make one self-conscious. I have many pairs of Born flats and have never experienced this before. Without that noise, I would have given the shoe a 5 star rating. I hadn't seen this issue in the reviews, so maybe it was unique to the pair I rec'd.

I really wanted to love these shoes. I returned my regular size and ordered in wide, then ordered one size up... and they still squeezed my toes on the sides and chafed against my ankle in the back (they come up very high in the back). Back they go...

I have always loved the Born brand. However I am very disappointed with these shoes. I bought them based on other reviews stating they are true to size and not narrow in the toe box. I forgot I bought them due to a family tragedy and now cannot return due to it being too late. When I found them I was so excited and started wearing them around the hose to test the comfort level. I found them too short, too narrow and within 5 minutes had bleeding heel blisters. I also found the arch support very lacking for Born shoes. Now I am stuck with shoes i cannot wear and cannot return. I bought the tan which is a great color. So bummed.

I ordered the grey color in * 1/2" wide. I have worn several pairs of Born flat in the past and really liked them. This pair not so much. These were not as comfortable and the top across the foot was very tight and uncomfortable to wear. Otherwise, they were just kind of meh. Functional but not very stylish. I returned them because I knew I just would not end up wearing them due to the tightness across the top of my foot.

I have another pair of this exact same shoe- in taupe- i bought it a year ago. I don't know what they changed in this new design but I have blisters on the backs of my heels every single time. It's a shame when my heels are more comfortable walking through Atlanta airport than these ballet flats. Unfortunately I was trying to be persistent and have worn them 3 or 4 times too many to be returned. I won't wear these again :(

The dye and finish was splotchy on the tan pair I ordered so sadly they had to go back.

Yuck. Not comfortable. Color is neutral, Carmel color. I just wish someone would get flats right and make them comfortable and stretchy. This is more of a winter flat. I wear a size 7M, weigh 150 and 5’2”.

I ordered my size in a wide but it was still to narrow. I’m assuming if I would’ve sized up it only would’ve been longer.

Super cute shoes, but I was expecting more arch support than a small pad. If you’re looking for good arch support, this is not the shoe for you.

Even in a wide width and half a size larger than my usual size, these were still too tight in the toe and don't feel long enough.

Usually I wear 8.5 medium, but ended up with a 9 wide for the best fit. I can see where the fabric edge could be abrasive if the fit was snug. Very little arch support for me, so I'll use a insert. The color varied a great deal between sizes, from navy to a denim tone.

Cute but small.

I love Born shoes. I have two pairs of boots by them that I have had for almost six years and are so comfortable. I wanted to have the same experience with this flats so much. I have been searching for a good pair for so long. This would have been perfect if it were not for that stiff piece of leather at the top on back of the shoe. It gave me blisters and I had to return. :(
