Fits a little small - maybe not a half-size smaller, but a perfect fit for me is 10.5 Narrow (which is almost impossible to find). This was a fairly good fit in width, but it was a little short - I ordered the 11 M. But, what disappointed me about the shoe was the quality of the leather. It felt stiff and rough and the heel tab was quite irritating.

I've owned these shoes for about 6 months. Absolutely love the look of them, and the leather is beautiful. However, these were very painful to break in. They cut up my heels pretty badly and I ended up investing in an epoxy so I could keep wearing them without the discomfort. Shoes offered support to start but it quickly wore out. The leather has worn thin on the sides and the sides now have holes in them. Six months later and I need replacement shoes already. I won't be buying these again.

I had high hopes for this shoe after reading all the great reviews, but alas, it wasn't for me. It runs a bit narrow and doesn't have any cushioning or arch support in the footbed. If you have a moderate to high arch, this may not be the shoe for you. Also runs a wee bit small.

I wear a wide shoe. This was wide enough, but it was not tall enough for my toes. Pretty shade of navy, though.

This is a very basic shoe, but I really need a flat that is elasticized, and this one fits nicely. The footbed is soft and cushy. Very nice. My only concern, and the reason I will be returning it, is that while the color states “Navy,” it’s actually more of a lighter blue than a true navy. It’s a pretty color, but I don’t think it will work with my dark jeans and darker true navy-colored ankle pants.

I am going to disagree with the rave reviews of others. This shoe was so wide that I walked right out of it. The blue color is washed out looking with a much darker elastic around the foot opening, not at all the look I wanted. Also, there seemed to be little to no arch support, so back they went.

The shoes is wonderful but they are not navy as described. Very disappointed

Incredibly narrow and tight shoe, definitely not made for anyone who has feet that run a little wide. I know someone with tiny feet who just loves these shoes, and it makes sense as she has narrow feet. I have found this issue with quite a few Born flats, unfortunately, and sent them back.

I really loved these shoes--they fit very nicely with my slightly narrow foot. BUT the back of the shoe rubbed terribly after only walking around in my house for a minute. Returning, but very sad about it.

These shoes are beautiful. I got them in the tan color and the are the perfect shade and very cute. However, I'm a size 7.5 and ordered that size and unfortunately got blisters on the first wearing. I'm hoping they break in and may try to get them stretched. You may want to try ordering a half size up.

Nice looking and well made, but too short in the toe. Heel just fine, but would be too big in a larger size. (I have narrow heels.) Also, not as much arch support as I had hoped.

Ordered for a new job that requires a bit more time on my feet. Needed flats. Liked the tan color and comfort in terms of the footbed. The part that curves up over the heel--did not think about that before I ordered it. Rubbed a blister on the lower part of my achilles tendon / heel area within the first hour. Have to keep shoes now and just won't wear at the job anymore. Wish I had not ordered. I have one other pair of shoes in this brand (different style), and those don't have quite the same design in the back.

nice little slip on however the back of the shoe is cut too high and rubs immediately = blisters ahead!

Very poorly made for the cost. The shoes' cloth/edging/piping around the foot did not match the leather. The glue job between the sole and shoe bed is sloppy and not consistent. Very disappointing for a Born product.

After buying my third pair of these because the first two were too small, I ended up returning all three. They're not only small, but also hard over the toe, stiff on the back and cut into the back of my heel. Overall very disappointing for Borne.

Very sweet shoe but the heel dug into my heel, as many “flexible” flats do. I am currently healing a terrible scab from a different pair - sending this one back as it’s just not worth it.

I was a little surprised when Zappos recommended a size a bit smaller than my usual size, but I ordered the size they recommended. However, the shoe was too small. I organized a return and prepared to re-order the shoe in my usual size, only to find out it was sold out. So, did Zappos suggest a smaller size because the company was looking out for me and wanted me to get the best fit, or because my normal size was sold out and they wanted to make the sale?

When I first tried on these shoes, they were very comfortable and I liked the style. However, after wearing them for one day of work my heels were rubbed raw and the shoes became incredibly uncomfortable to wear. Unfortunately, I can't return them now even though I will never wear them again. I do not recommend them.

Sadly, no arch support and it cuts into the back of my heel. Wish I had returned them instead of trying to make them Work.

I normally wear a 7.5. I order in that size and my toe touch the front, I then ordered an 8 and my toes was barely touching the front. I did not want to order another size. but they did feely very cushiony.

I used to love Born ballet flats. They had great arch support and generous toe boxes for my wide, but not quite wide enough for D/E width shoes. Not these. The removable insole does not provide much arch support, and the 10/42 W felt too short on my left foot and too narrow on my right. I know my feet are slightly different, but this was weird. Jury is still out on the fit (with my Superfeet insoles for arch support) in the size 11W.....Navy is really more like a chambray but still nice. PannaCotta is kind of a weird mix of silver and gold but I think I like that color best. The gray is nice and and neutral & would probably be excellent for an office with a gray suit when the day is late and the heels need to be retired. I do think all would scratch and show wear easily, however.

I was so excited to try these on, but they arrived and the size was clearly crossed out and rewritten by hand! M for medium etched out with a W for wide scrawled in ink. Who does that?! I’m reordering a different pair of the same size in hopes that this was a fluke, just some previous customer trying to pull a fast one and do a sneaky switch for some reason. Otherwise nice, well-made soft and comfy dress flats.

Not nearly wide enough for a W. When I look at the sole and see it's only about 2-1/2 to 3" wide, I know it will not fit my foot!

Basic flat- I wear a 9D and the wide width is definitely not a wide width.

At first I loved these shoes, but my biggest problem with them is the insole. It is permanently attached to the shoe and is made of fabric. I wear them regularly and they start to develop foot odor that is nearly impossible to address. I've owned them for less than 6 months and now feel like I have to buy new shoes solely due to the insole issue. I have had success in spraying the insides down with "Nature's Miracle", an enzyme solution that is sold primarily to clean up pet urine accidents, and I've found that product is amazing at treating "body" odors of all types, including sweat and foot odors in clothing and shoes, but I find myself having to do that regularly with these shoes and not with other shoes I own. I attribute it to the fabric insole. Would be nice if it was removable and could somehow be really cleaned, but as it cannot, I'm on the hunt for new flats.
