My feet measure 25.5 cm long & 4.2cm wide. 9.5W shoe was both too long and too narrow. Well made and lovely leather though.

No real support, but very cute. You can add insert, but I thought they were too expensive to have to make alterations.

These are nice looking and very comfortable. I have the grey and the mid brown. My two critiques would be that the grey is much lighter than the photo shows, and the shoes do take some maintenance. I had purchased these previously and they didn't last long due to road salt damage to the leather, and the non-removable fabric footbed getting stinky (I don't wear socks). They are very comfortable though! So I tried again, but now, when they get dirty, I use saddle soap to clean them, then apply protectant after that. I also use terry cloth liners, and put bamboo and charcoal deodorizing bags in when not in use.

I wish these came is a summery material, or at least summer colors. I only wear flats barefoot and so mostly in spring and summer. But these dark brown and black leathers seem more wintery. They used to have better colors and lighter leathers.

I have purchased two pairs of black flats. They are comfortable and the arch support is great for a flat. Overtime, the support lessens which is to be expected. The toebox is roomy and the look is flattering. I would agree with another reviewer that these shoes show wear way too early. The leather looks scuffed a few months into usage and what is worse is that they are hard to polish and spruce up. I have tried shoe leather and polish to make the shoes look good again to no avail. I saved up to buy my second pair which I use in the office and wear the old pair to and from my car, especially in bad weather. I wish there were other vibrant colors. I like the style but there is something about the leather that keeps this shoe from being a five-star.

This is a great basic flat with moderate arch support. I order, then wear them out and then reorder. I must be in my 8th pair. Very good staple for your wardrobe. More comfortable than your average flat with no cushion and no support.

I was hoping that the wide shoe would give me more toe space. It almost felt like a regular width, perhaps a tad wider. The shoe is comfortable for a few hours, but the flimsy sole did not offer support enough for all day even with the "memory foam" lining. As someone has remarked, the navy is not a true navy, but lighter.

I have bunions so I normally need a shoe that are wider in the front. I was psyched to see that a wide width option was available for these shoes, so I ordered them in my normal size (9W). When I tried the shoes on, my feet barely fit and were very uncomfortable. The style was fine, nothing noteworthy, but still a good basic flat. If you have narrow feet and just want a no frills basic flat, these may be a good choice for you. Unfortunately they are not for me.

These are shiny, simple flats. The padding is very good and there is a nice arch pad. On my size 11 or 42 foot, the size 11 fit nicely. I am sending them back because the leather is not soft enough. I am going to look for a more matte, nappa leather that will conform more to my foot. Worth a try. Very close to perfect.

I have very bad feet and have a difficult time getting shoes of all kinds. Right out of the box they fit very comfortably over my bunions and the extra width they cause. Usually the shoes buckle on the outside of the shoe, this did not happen. I have not worn them for any length of time yet, usually need more support. I will make that decision after a while but as yThe warmer months approach, I like a lighter weight shoe. So far, so good. I look forward to getting more in different colors!

Love these shoes. They are comfortable and the color is beautiful. It did take awhile to break in the back (ouch) and the toe has been rubbed off (I sit on the floor a lot as a teacher). Overall, I would recommend them for those standing/walking on their feet all day, just don't expect them to hold up too long or wear them multiple days in a row for your legs' sake.

The fit is fine, but these shoes are not comfortable. They are cute enough, but I can only wear them for a short time and not frequently.

The toe box was perfect! I ordered the wide. The problem was with the heel collar. It was too high. If I worn them, they would have made me bloody. Yes, I could wear knee highs and this would probably help.

I'm usually between a 9 and 9.5 and the 9 in this was just a tad too tight. Unfortunately, the 9.5 wasn't available at the time. I liked that there was more support and cushioning in this compared to the other ballet flats I tried. However, and maybe my heels are just weirdly sensitive, but the embossed "Born" logo in the heel pad bothered me when I walked. I ultimately found another pair I liked better.

The box had previously been opened, tags were removed and 1 of toe stuffing missing. The left shoe had a leather scrape. The box came with an Amazon return label showing it had been returned in the past. LRN RR ID586 6120. When you pay OVER full price for an item you expect it to be new to the buyer.

The heel cuff is much too long. Digs into the back of my ankles. Uncomfortable. Otherwise cute.

These run very small. I’m always a size 8. Bought the 8s and they were too small bought an 8.5 and still barely fit. I have a narrow foot. The width was not an issue but my toe was hitting the end and I knew they wouldn’t be comfortable for any length of time. They’re also pretty stiff but hoping they loosen up. Fingers crossed the 9s will fit correctly.

Loved the look, love the support, but it seems to run a half size large so I will be returning.

Definitely runs small. I'm usually a 10-10.5, so I got these in a size 11. They fit like a size 10 usually fits, which is slightly snug. The top part covers just the toes, fyi. And like my other Born flats, I would have needed bandaids to keep the heel part from causing blisters.

Returning because shoes were squeeky. Also looked as if they had been worn before. The soles were discolored.

The front edge of the foot opening cut me right across the bunions. I didn't have them on long enough to know if the rest of the fit would be fine. They are going back.

I love the color and style of this shoe. It fit really well and has great arch support. Unfortunately the tab on the back of the shoe digs into my skin and I have to wear Bandaids with them otherwise I get cuts on the back of my ankles. If it weren't for this I would have bought them in other colors.

I love Born shoes but these were a disaster. I was so sure I would love them that I ordered a few pairs just to be sure I got the right size, and unfortunately they are all going back. The photos on the website make the shoe look a little structured, which is what I need, but these flats are the kind that curls up when they aren't on your foot, which KILLS my ankles in the back, and cuts into the width of my foot as well. If the same problem that I do, steer clear. I hope the photos help explain what I mean.
