Even with my narrow feet and multiple foot surgeries, I can wear these shoes all day with ease and no slipping off my heel. With jeans,a skirt, etc. I have two pairs, I wish that I could have more. There is not a lot of arch support, but that is hard to find in flats like these!

These are great basic flats! This is my fourth pair of these shoes. I am replacing a two year old pair that I have worn to death. The shoes are cushioned and give better support than most flat shoes. I walk a lot at my work and find them to be comfortable all day.

These are hands down the most comfortable ballet flats that I have found. I have other ballet flats by Frye (style is Carson) and they are also fairly comfortable - but the Julianne style is super comfortable. The padded insole has a small arch support not usually found in ballet flats. I also love the color I ordered - Panna Cotta. It is a soft metallic gold - not too brassy but with just enough bling to look great! I wear them with skinny jeans and skinny black pants and get compliments every time.

I bought these in black and mid brown. They are extremely comfortable and well made for ballet flats, the arch support is good. However, in my personal opinion I like the mid brown far better than the black. The black, to Me, makes my feet look fat and wide. I am not going to return them because they are super comfortable and I always get compliments when I wear them. I definitely recommend them if you are looking for simple affordable classic ballet flats.

These are great shoes. I bought the red and I love them. There was no breaking in. I have had three ankle reconstructions and have a painful bunion so finding shoes which are comfortable is a real challenge. These are awesome and the arch support is just enough for me. I am on my feet a lot at work and feel like I am wearing slippers. I absolutely love them.

I've never worn this style of shoe until now (I'm a sneaker kind of person...) but I caved to fashion - these are perfect. The backs stay put with no cheesy elastic, the leather is pretty soft and the soles are firmly and nicely padded.

The shoe arrives just as pictured. I bought it from Zappos because my local store was out of my size-(11). I was looking for a black ballet flat that offered some support. I had tried the size 10 on in the store and thought it was pretty comfortable. I fluctuate between a size 10 and 11 with Born. I think that this is a beautiful shoe that can round out your shoe wardrobe. I gave it 5 stars not because it is exceptional, but that it was exactly as expected.

I got these shoes in the Noche (tan) and I love them. I almost exclusively buy Born and Clarks shoes now because they're so comfortable and still have cute styles. I always have problems with flats that have no sole and blister my feet. I bought these for a trip to Paris and wore them all day almost every day and they were great! I love the tan because it's great with black pants or jeans. Also they got pretty beat up but with just a wipe down with a wet cloth looked great again!

LOVE!!! I've been searching for a neutral, supportive flat that doesn't look like bulky grandma shoes, or the shapeless ballerinas that are are all over. Love the leather material. SO COMFY. Just a quality flat. I'm eyeing the red and the navy ones now! I got the tan, which is rather light. My first Borns. Thank you again Zappos!! I don't get shoes anywhere else!!

Honestly these are the best flats I have every purchased. They fit me perfectly right out of the box. I didn't have to break them in and they did not pinch my toes.

After many tries at comfortable flats, these fit the bill. A very soft and forgiving leather helps to eliminate the break in process. They are a tad big but that helps me, as I am a size 12. I also have bunions and these remain comfortable.

Soft leather very roomy right off no need to go through any break in period. Very comfortable and easily can be put together with a dress or pants.

Comfy ballet shoes- my feet feel like they are walking on clouds all days. Soft leather gives a very classy look as well. Pairs well with just about everything- and is a nice "change out" when I'm traveling and need to get out of heels for flights/etc.

I tried several different flats and these are by far the most comfortable shoe. It is like wearing slippers. Good support and fits true to size. Roomy but fits foot like a glove.

I just ordered my third pair of this shoe in yet another color . Finding a comfortable, cute shoe is very difficult due to having serious bunions. This shoe was comfortable right out of the box. I can wear it all day without pain. It doesn't slip off my feet, but does not feel tight. It is perfect with leggings, slim slacks, or skirts.

Returned the first pair of these shoes in navy, because the color seemed to be rubbing off after only one wearing. Reordered this second pair and right out of the box the color was terrible. It looked like part of the color took and part of it did not take during the manufacturing. I have other navy shoes which have a solid navy color all over. Something is wrong with the dying process with the navy on these shoes.

Love these shoes. I got them first in pewter, then black, now brown! They are the most comfortable ballet flats and are so cute. Very true to size.

This is my second pair of Julianne's. These shoes are perfect, I could I would have them in all the available colors! I can wear these while teaching, standing for most of the day on a concrete/tile floor and still be comfortable. Thank you Zappos for your lovely service.

These shoes fit my bill. They are all leather and flexible. I've been wearing them with jeans and leggings and they look cute. Order the size you usually wear. I wear a 9 1/2 M. There's just enough room to wear a light weight sock or tights.

In keeping with what I have come to associate with Born footwear, these shoes are comfortable, cute & well made. I have a conservative sense of fashion, so I was a little hesitant on the metallic hue but it's a soft color that feels easy to dress up or down. Love these shoes and know I will get their full value out of them!

I recommend these shoes for anyone who, like me, has bunions. The leather is very soft and the shoes at least for the brief time I had them on are very comfortable. Unfortunately for me, though, the toe box was too shallow to accommodate a big toe that points up. I m giving them 5 starts, because for most people they would be that good.

Love these shoes, I just ordered a second pair in taupe! I have never worn this type of shoe before i.e. ballet flats, I am a convert!
