I have a pair of these boots already but since I work in an exceptionally dirty office, I needed a pair of "nice" boots to wear when going out. I tried a couple of other styles, but this boot was so perfect that the second pair was the keeper. I go between a size 7 and 7-1/2, so I ordered the 7-1/2 to make room for thicker winter socks.

This boot fit only by stretching the tab to its fullest to get the zipper up over my calf. Because it was such an effort to get it on, I sent it back as I was worried I'd rip the boot in the future and couldn't wear it with leggings or jeans. There wasn't any room to spare on the vice grip from these boots around my calf.

Just opened the package and was thrilled with how lovely and classic they are, until I tried them on. I ordered the 8.5 wide, but the footbed was too narrow, and they don’t offer a 2w width. Toe box is also a bit narrow if you have wide feet. I search and search, and it is so hard to find well fitting wide shoes, sandals and boots. So distressing. Why do shoe makers not offer wide widths?????

Almond shaped toe is too tight. I then ordered a wide (wide footbed, not wide calf) and it didnt seem to add any room in the toe, it only added width at the ankle then the booted slipped on and off as I walked. It is a beautiful quality leather, just the toe shape did not work.

I looked for a long time for nice leather boots that wouldn't break the bank and I love these. I did try them on first (at Nordstrom) and the medium width felt extremely narrow to me. I always wear a half size up in Sam Edelman as I notice they usually run small for me. For these I had to also order the wide (not calf) just because it felt very narrow by my ankles. They fit me perfectly now and am considering ordering in another color. I ordered these in whiskey and think they look great.

I waited a while before wearing these boots because I just didn’t know if I liked the way they looked and felt. Wore them to a party last night and I was delighted! Very soft leather that quickly conformed to my foot. Easy to put on and easy to take off after hours on my feet. Looked great over my black skinny jeans and I know they will look good under my straight legged jeans and trousers. My only criticism is that they are a bit long in the toe. That said, my size 7, short, wide foot felt great in a size 7W.

Comfortable, practical, beautiful. Ordered the olive (a taupe that leans beige) in 10M. I have a large foot for my average height and weight and found the regular calf to be generous. Fit perfect in foot. Ankle could be trimmer. Returning due to defect in leather. Ordered 6 pairs of boots and would the two Sam Edelman's at the top for quality, fit, and price.

Love these boots and plan to buy them in other colors!

These run small and are not very wide. I wear an 11 and have worn for years. But this 11 was not wide enough. Trying a 12.

Ordered for wife, who normally wears a size 6. She loved the boot's fit and the color. She wears it during the winter months at least once a week. Color is great and after 2 years hasn't really faded.

Love these boots! They were comfortable right out of the box. I have terrible feet and often have an issue with my big toes being squished. These had plenty of room for my toes. I am thrilled! Nice style and beautiful whiskey color!

These boots are very comfortable. Good quality leather. I'm pretty choosy about my boots and these are good ones. I usually only buy Frye boots, but I needed something a little dressier. These are really stylish without compromising quality.

I have the hardest time finding shoes that fit. It is impossible to find an 11.5. This boot came in an 11.5 and fit perfect. It looks so nice. I have a pair in Black and Tan.

Love them! Cute with skinny jeans tucked in, also great with a skirt. Back zip makes it easy to get on/off. Contrary to other reviewers, I had no discomfort at all from the zipper at the heel. I am a band director -- am on my feet all day and was totally pleased with these boots.

Love these boots!! I read the other recommendations about buying 1/2 size larger so the calf would more easily fit over jeans - great advice!! I bought in two colors.

Great boots! Great color that goes with jeans and leggings! Really comfortable right out of the box! I'm 5'1 " and the 6.5 fits to just below my knee. They are loose enough at the top to allow for movement of the knee. Good fit for wide ankles. I have worn them almost everyday since I received them. Really cute style.

Love love these boots. The color is exactly what is pictured the Leather is soft and they are very comfortable. I gave a four star for comfort only because I had to wear them for a day to stretch them out in the toe area but now they fit great.

I loved the boots but they were too small around the calf.

These are the best boots that I have purchased in a loooong time. My skinny jeans are happily tucked in, they don't bag down around my ankles, comfy, and don't hamper my stride when I walk. My calves are average, slightly high arch in my foot. Love them!

I love these boots. They are a nice color, flexible leather, and zipper makes for easy on and off. They are pretty comfortable, although I could do with a little more arch support. They are very cute.

I loved these boots! The color is hard to find yet very neutral. They fit true to size in the length but were too wide around my calf. I have average/muscular calves and usually have no fit problems with knee high boots. Even with jeans tucked in these were too wide. Super comfortable and well made!

Love these boots! I tried Fryes but they didn't work. I'm a five and they start at 5.5. Got these instead and am so happy. They fit great and are both comfy and stylish. I actually like them much better than the Fryes. Am only 5 ft tall and they aren't too tall for me.
