I've been using this shoe as well as its predecessors for almost 15 years and my general impression is the quality now is not what it once was. These shoes are my "house" shoes and I wear them all day long to cushion heel spurs and support the foot in general. Recently the point where the tongue is attached makes a large bump that is uncomfortable on the top of my foot. The seams from the sides of the tongue down to the sole of the shoe are thick and also can rub. I usually don't wear socks with the shoes and the inside has become rougher and lumpier over the years. It takes thick socks to smooth out the inside but when you live in Texas heat, thick socks are miserable..

There is not enough padding in the shoe for me. It did fit true to size. I always wear new balance so I will buy another pair, just a different style.

In the photo, the sneakers looked like the 608 style that I cannot find anywhere anymore.
These are very light and not suitable for my work as a nurse. I'm very disappointed at not being able to find the NB sneakers that I've bought for years. This is the third style I've tried but none measure up to the stability and sturdy support of the 608.

The shoe fits if I adjust the shoelaces so the heel is narrowed. The solution works well but I always end up needing new shoelaces for the new shoes. I have hard to fit feet and I am very glad that New Balance can accommodate me.

I have many pairs of NB sneakers, all the same size and width. I've never had a problem with fit until this pair. The shoe comes off my heel when my heel is flexed during exercise ( eg-mountain climbers) no matter how I lace the shoes.

These are true to fit, attractve, but quality is lacking. I bought these to replace leather NIKE sneakers to wear while working out on the treadmill. I gave them a couple of weeks to soften up, but I am disappointed with the results. NB reputation with me has definitely been diminished. I will NEVER buy 'pleather' shoes again.

I have worn womens white New Balance 624 for many years. The last 2 pairs have just not held up to previous 624's that I have had. The insole of this shoe is failing.

I sent these shoes back because the toe shape was too pointed-- pinched. I ordered EEEE width but it was difficult to tell from the photo on line that the shape of the toe would be that pointed.

I didn't expect them to run so small, they felt super uncomfortable after wearing them for a little over an hour. If it wasn't for that, they would be great!

I purchased an 8 and 1/2 Wide, but it fit more like a narrow. The toe area is very tight. I need a roomy toe area due to foot problems.

I was very disappointed in these sneakers, I have been buying NB for a long time as they are one of the few companies that make narrow shoes. These had little to no arch support in them. I will be sending them back and trying to find another pair that will be more comfortable for me.

I use these in the privacy of my own home to work out so i am keeping them. But they are very unattractive, stiff and not very comfortable. But they work and the ones i really wanted were unavailable at the time.
