This shoe fits true to size in the 7.5 N and feels very comfortable for fast walking. The Iris/Turquoise is an attractive color.

ASICS wides run narrower than New Balance wides. I typically take out the insoles to insert my orthodics. With these shoes, it feels like I didn't take out the insole - arches seem naturally high without the insoles. Otherwise, comfortable shoes that feel well made.

These are such a fun color, I get a lot of compliments on them. They seem to run a bit big and my toes go numb on the eliptical machine (pushing in a forward motion) but they are great for running, crosstraining and plyometrics. Overall a great shoe!

This shoe was a bit narrower than my previous Asics size 8. Next time will purchase a size 8W. Loved the color and the sole, very comfortable besides being narrow.

I found these in the category "orthotic friendly". I found when the insole is replaced with the orthotic, the length was fine but it is too tight even though I had ordered a wide.

I've worn this shoe before and was looking forward to getting another pair. I ordered this in a wide width and was disappointed that is ran really small in all ways. I am going to return them and order a size up and hope that works as they were a really durable and comfortable sneaker.

I ordered wide as recommended by other reviewers thus the shoe fit well. I am long time fan of Asics - just not this shoe. Unlike the GT2100 (varied models) I've worn for the last 5 years, this shoe didn't feel as comfortable, the heel has much less cushioning than I expected and the arches seem to fit differently as well. I'm keeping them only because I put them on and put on a few miles right out of the box. Spendy for shoes that I'll probably wear only for mowing lawn and yard work. Asics changes series pretty routinely so if you find a shoe that you really like, buy a few pairs! Perhaps I'll try the Kayano series as an alternative?

I really love this shoe but I ordered a pair in Aug 2013 & by October they developed a hole in the right shoe, near the big toe, in the top part of the shoe which is mesh. I returned them, got a replacement & now in December of 2013, I had to return that second pair for the same reason. I think it's a great shoe, especially for orthotics, but I think ASICS has to reinforce that mesh part on top.

These shoes have cloth on them. They are not waterproof. The design kind of looked cheap to me. They are expensive shoes.

These shoes run narrow. I normally wear regular width shoes. Had to reorder these in wide and they were still to narrow in the toe bed. They are very cute shoes, just wish they fit right.

I loved the fit and light weight feel of this shoe. The only problem I had was a small hole developed in the mesh over my big toe after just two months. I reported it to Zappos and they sent me a new pair. I'm thinking it was just a flaw. I have never had a pair of Asics wear out here.

This sneaker felt comfortable immediately. It has adequate wiggle room for my toes, moderate support, is lightweight and is true to size. The unfortunate part is that after six weeks of gym wear only, the soles are starting to wear down. All the molded sections that look so serious and complicated, are starting to merge into one smooth surface. This negatively affects traction. I'm somewhat disappointed by the low quality of materials. I wear these three times each week for an hour exercise class. I expected longer wear than six weeks of three hours each week. I expect that by month four, I will need to replace these.

Good shoes. I like the Gel 1170s better. Although these are supposed to be the replacement I do not think yet are anything like the 1170s. Not as cushiony as the 1170s and more narrow. I had to order a half size up for room for my orthotics. I love the colors. Good for my short runs up to 5 miles otherwise my feet hurt.

The sole of the shoe is too firm. I need to stay with the Gel styles. I need a black shoe, but can not find black in the GEL styles.

It's the best I can find to replace my beloved Saucony shoes, since Saucony changed them! Not great, my heels strike in a different way.

This is not nearly as padded for comfort as the GT-2170. I bought these because I could not get the 2170 in black and because they were on "sale." I have had to put in my own orthotics to get arch support and comfort.

This shoes is narrower in the toe box than usual for an Asics shoe. The cushion is limited compared to other Asics models such as GT-2150. Very disappointing.

Ordered these and was not happy with the fit. More narrow than they should be since I ordered a "wide" width. Not much arch support. Sent them back.

Love these shoes, very comfy, however, I have small feet (size 6.5) and these shoes came with insanely small shoes laces. I can barely make a knot let alone double knot so they don't come untied. I don't know if I can find matching shoe laces some place else either. That's the only negative I have.

I always buy Asics, but these don't have enough cushion for the ball of my foot. Back they go. I'll try another style.

I bought these shoes to walk in (several miles a day). My feet are already sore, I am very disappointed because there is not enough support in the toe area. The balls of my feet start hurting within 10 minutes of starting my walk. The shoes are pretty narrow as well. I will be going back to New Balance.

Ordered a wide - but had to check to make sure these were wide immediately after putting them on. Not near as wide as I had hoped!

Just got my Asics GT-1000 today and was so excited to try them on. I have to send them back. :/ They are too narrow in the Med width. I guess I needed to buy a wide in these. The last Asics I bought were not wide...So I thought they would all run about the same in width. They also seem just a little stiff to me. Ill try another pair because I love Asics!

I wore these shoes for October, November, December, and most of January on a daily basis. I am on my feet all day (as a teacher by day and a cashier by night), but I do not consider myself overly active. In fact, recent lifestyle changes have actually decreased my outdoor activity time, yet the fabric in these shoes has worn through in 4 different places! I am not impressed at all.

This shoes looks great but, on my first run I felt a sharp irritation on my bone just below my ankle bone. I thought maybe the plastic tie was poking me. No plastic tie just was rubbing bad. Next day bandaged up the one foot and then it did it on the other foot. So uncomfortable. Had to wait a week to try them again, still hurt. They don't have a nice cushion feel to them. I really think there is a defect in this shoe. I have Gel-Equations and they are so much better.
