Great shoes, beautiful color that grabs driver's attention so they notice you rather than mowing you down when you are out there running on the roadsides. Normally I'm a woman's 8.5 size. Read reviews about tight fit and ordered a 9 and it fits great!

These sneakers replaced my 2160's and I find that they fit very similar but are a little slimmer (great for my long skinny feet). Very comfy, great for running and to wear daily.

I love these Asics shoes! The most comfortable shoe ever! I have a couple of hammer toes and without a doubt the softness of the shoe conforms to my foot. I hate to take them off. This is my second pair of shoes...I just ordered the same size and they fit just like I was in the store!

So much better than the GT2170! I have been wearing gt2100 series for a decade. My foot got wider from wearing those stupid flip flops one summer and now am looking for a wider shoe. The old Asics wide 2170 shoe was not wide enough, but the wide is on this new shoe gt 1000 is very good. Get this shoe. It is so much more comfortable. Excellent shoe if your feet pronate. Bravo Asics!

Bought these for my daughter (size 8, width 2A). She loved the styling and the fit was just right. She has a very narrow foot and a low arch - these overcame her 'foot issues' and looked great too! Also, she loved the color of the laces! [Note: I clicked that the sneaker has excellent arch support, because for my daughter's flat foot, it is excellent. For someone with a high arch - it probably would not be excellent.]

Great shoe...broke my foot and have to wear athletic shoes all the time so needed a black pair. Fit well, good support. Usually wear Saucony but really like these.

These sneakers are fantastic for truly narrow feet. I bought these to replace another pair of black Asics and these are WAY better than the GT-2160. I use with an over the counter sports orthotic.

I bought these shoes to wear to work in a Chiropractor's office. They are comfortable and very supportive. And they look more professional that wearing white-ish sneakers.

These shoes were purchased for my 20 year old daughter who underwent surgery on both feet and requires ortho inserts. She works in a popular "teen" clothing shop chain that you see in most Malls and whatever she wears must be considered stylish. It is quite difficult to find "style" in shoes that will accommodate ortho inserts. Thankfully, this shoe is a winner. I did order her a wide width instead of her normal standard width. She said that the shoes almost accepted the ortho inserts without removing the insoles but in the end she did have to remove the insoles in order to use her ortho inserts. We hope these continue to be available as she will probably be needing a new pair often. She no longer comes home crying with foot pain after standing on her feet for an 8-hour shift of sales work in the Mall. Zappos always seems to have what we need...especially shoes we can't find anywhere else.

Fun, bright and feel great on my feet. Bought them as my new gym shoes. So far, they are wonderful. I use New Balance insoles and needed my shoes to fit them. They fit great in these shoes, after going up 1/2 a size. I normally wear a 7 1/2 and purchased an 8, they worked great. Very pleased. My feet are thankful!

Love this shoes, soft, light, i would recommend this product to my friends. Only wish the color would less bright.

Comfortable, with good support, running true to size, style a bit dated, to have arch support. I had to add independently purchased arch supports.

This is my first online shoe purchase, and it has been an excellent experience! These shoes are so comfortable, and I feel like my foot is very stable. I just now started needing wide width, and finding a good wide width running shoe in stores wasn't happening. Buying without trying on was hard for me to do, but with Zappos return policy, I felt like there was really no risk involved. It is so nice to feel like my foot isn't cramped...the width is perfect. I put a lot of miles on my running shoes, and I would highly recommend these shoes!

I love them. The fit and support is great! I am on my feet all day and was told that I would heal better from a heel spur if I wore more supportive shoes. I can wear these with black pants and not feel like they are screaming 'running shoes'!

I love the bright color on these shoes and they are very comfortable. You really can't go wrong with Asics as a brand as long as you know your size. And of course, I love Zappos!

Great shoe but although the reviews say it runs big, I did not find that true so needed a half size larger.

These are good quality as usual with Asics, and the colors are true to the shoes, as usual with Zappos.

Overall this shoe is very comfortable to walk in and I do a lot of walking. They felt a little bit big but overall it was okay. They were a little bit tighter than usual.

I have always worn a size 8.5 in Asics. I purchased a pair last summer that after blisters, and beyond the point of return, I determined were too small. I thought it was a fluke so I ordered the GT-1000 in my normal 8.5 and again these are a half size too small. Unfortunately a size 9 was not available in this color so I have to return them. Thank you Zappos for your awesome customer service and shipping!

I'm sure this is a good shoe, but if you have wide feet, I'd suggest Saucony. I ordered the same size in each and the Saucony fits like a glove, while the Asics still feel tight across the base of the toes.

My podiatrist recommended Asics for my particular foot issues. I have had several pairs and this is the latest version I have tried. I miss the loop on the heel, to help put them on without breaking down the back. Previous models had the loop. Also, the shoelaces are too short to allow a snug "heel lace" technique to keep narrow heels in place. I am using the lower set of holes, but this method is not ideal. I ordered a wide in this shoe, and it is barely wide enough for my foot, with very thin "no show" socks. Great colors. Accepted my custom orthotic well.

I like that the shoe is all black and that it's fairly lightweight so I can wear it for general use and not just for athletic pursuits. I have long, narrow feet with plantar plate problems, so it's hard for me to find any shoes that fit well (11.5 AA). The length is good but the heels are too wide so my feet slip up and down unless I wear heavy socks. At the same time, the toe box is a bit too narrow so uncomfortable with heavy socks. I need a stiff sole for my foot problem, and these are a bit too flexible for walking longer distances but that's my particular problem. Overall, comfortable and attractive for that kind of shoe.
