I purchased these online because I couldn't find "wide" at the stores. The colors and visual look of the shoe is great! I wanted these shoes for cross training/high impact exercise(Insanity, P90x, Turbo Fire Workouts). This shoe has very little heel support and no support at all on the ball of the feet. I was disappointed. I'm still in search of a new pair of shoes.

I have severe arch problems and wear orthotics. I haven't had a sneaker that I have enjoyed wearing in years. This shoe is comfortable and helps my feet feel good even after wearing it all day. Highly recommend.

These are light, stable and comfortable shoes. I am a moderate overpronator with fairly flat feet, 5'9", 150 pounds, no ortho issues, running 12-15 miles a week on asphalt and grass. These shoes offer stability without feeling like I am wearing a rubber brick on each foot. Using them to train for my first 10K in August and I will likely wear them for the race. I wear a 10M in street shoes and size up to a 10½M in these - an 11 is just too roomy. I recommend these shoes!

I've worn Asics GTs forever, and these are just as great as my old 2100s! Lightweight, flexible, and comfortable, and the hot pink color is totally fun for spring. Highly recommend!

I have had great luck with ASICS. The shoes fit well, and last a long time. I love these running shoes. The descriptions start to sound the same (don't they?), and I can't tell the true benefits of certain model over another. The GT-1000 seems to have great cushion-front and back. Laces stay tied. I run or walk about 10-15 miles a week. Outside and treadmill. Not that much I know, but the tread/soles last a long time, even when using them in outdoor conditions.

This is a great basic shoe. It's toe box is a little narrower than what I am used to (Gel Kayano) but I am perfectly happy with them. I think I've just been spoiled with a little more cushion in the past.

I have a narrow foot & have tried other brands of athletic shoes. Asics is by far the most comfortable & supportive. The color combo on this shoe is also very attractive!

Great shoe if you need a narrow toe box but do not want to buy a true narrow shoe. Size is exactly - I wear and 8 /12 shoe and bought the 8 /12 sneaker.

Thee most comfy shoe ever!!! The second you put these on, you know you are on the GO... Love these, used to be a faithful Nike user, but now, I found my brand. Very true to size.

I love this sneaker. My feet are flat and narrow. The sneaker fits perfectly!The size is true. I wear an 11N in street shoes but get a half size larger for sneakers.

The toe box is smaller than in the past! Poor arch support. Feels narrower and shorter than Asics of the past three years. I cannot feel any Gel cushioning. You can feel the treads of the shoe through the insert. I do not know what Asics did to their shoes this year, but this is the fifth shoe that I have tried this summer and they are just too small now! I am not a happy camper.

If you read the reviews, you see a consistent theme that these shoes are narrow. I first ordered size 8½B (which I typically wear in running shoes) and immediately felt a rub on the widest part of the foot just behind the little toe. But I loved the look and style so sent them back and ordered an 8W. Same thing! The good news is that Zappos is great. They provide quick delivery and easy/quick returns. I guess I will be going back to Nike.

I have a wide foot and these look and feel very comfortable. I run without foot pain which I get from most running shoes.

Great sneakers. I liked them immediately and they have gotten only better. Light weight but sturdy, keep your foot aligned and supported. I used them in all kinds of classes and walking. High praise. True to size. Good for wide and problem feet. I didn't think I could replace my beloved New Balance, but I did and better.

After a day of wearing to break them in, they stretched and conformed to my feet better since I have small but wide feet. I now wear them to the gym every time. I also love the color and style of these shoes! Thanks Zappos for offering wide size options.

I love these shoes and they are hard to find! They were less at Zappos than what I paid at Nordstroms for my first pair. These shoes are a great fit for someone who has duck feet like I do -- broad at the front and narrow in the heel.

I am very happy with this shoe purchase. Last spring I was running in some very cheap Avia does that had no support. I paid with acquiring a stubborn car if plantar fasciitis. It was only my right foot, so I threw that pair away, and purchased Adidas boost, which were discontinued. I finally wore those out and have been on a mad hunt for comfortable, supportive, all black shoes. I'm not into the crazy color combination shoes have, and I cannot stand Nike. I have tried Brooks adrenaline 10 and Brooks Ariel. The Ariel was better, the adrenaline's sit in my closet, they have no support even with my Dr. Scholl inserts. That's Asics fit all my requirements, all black, comfortable no need to add my usual inserts and I love that they have 11.5 Usually I have to go up to 12 when there are no half sizes. Wore them all day today at work, website I stand/walk for 5 1/2 hours and my feet feel great. My arch isn't aching. Next check I will be purchasing 2 more pairs one just for the gym, and the other to put away until I go through my fist pair.

Perfect fit! So happy, will order online again. (Wide feet, can never find shoes in the mall or sports places that fit).

These shoes fit as I expected them too, not too big or small. They are comfortable all day long at work where I stand all day. I would buy again in a heartbeat. Also love the free shipping and returns, for shoes that's why I will only buy here at Zappos!

I love ASICS. They are extremely comfortable. But the sizes seemed to have changed. I used to be a 6 always. Now I wear a 5.5 wide.

These fit great! I do not usually buy wide shoes for myself, but I do with Asics shoes and they fit perfectly. Otherwise they run true to size.

I have always had trouble finding shoes because I wear a size 11 or 12. I bought my first pair of Asics about six years ago, and I have stuck with them ever since (minus a regrettable deviation with Nike). I have had this pair (size 12) for a few months now, and they are so comfortable for running and Zumba. The tongue is a little wider than I like, but other than that I do not have any complaints.

The GT 1000 replaces my old Nimbus 12. I tried the Nimbus 15, Gel flux, and GT 2000 looking for a comfortable fit. These all have the forefoot gel cushioning which is the necessary feature for my shoes due to injured and very sensitive nerves in the ball of my foot. The newest styles of the other three models were not comparable to my old Nimbus style. Wish they were, but the GT 1000 has been the best closest replacement and happens to be the cheapest also. This shoe provides comfort for my daily three-mile walks, so I imagine I will order a second pair.

I've owned 6 pair. I've used them to train and run Las Vegas rock n roll and San Diego rock n roll half marathons. I should have worn a Zappos team running shirt!
