Width was excellent but your velcro straps were to short. So I have to return them. You made the shoes wider for swollen feet but you neglected to add on to the velcro. One more inch of strap and you would have had a sale.

Fit is good, runs a half size small. Didn't need to break them in.

I'm 80 years old and need good support and well fitting shoes. These shoes fit the bill and are Velcro instead of strings which is another plus.

Very comfortable. Been buying for many years alway have at least two new bar in box in the closet.

Needed a good quality walking shoes as I am suffering from heels pain. The shoes arrived within 5 days of placing my order through regular delivery. The fit was was good. I liked the laceless shoes with adjustable straps. Can slip on and off easily.

I have bought several pairs of these walking shoes for my husband. He has an extra wide foot, and the New Balance last fits him well. We live out in the country, and he wears them to walk in the woods and to work in his woodworking shop where he stands on a cement floor. These shoes have held up well, and we appreciate L. L. Bean carrying the extra wides!

These are my husbands only shoes. His podiatrist said to continue wearing them because they are as good as any shoes he could sell him.Great quality

Keep stocking these NB Walking Shoes. They are comfortable and do the job. Also if you are offering a $10.00 discount, be clear whether or not these shoes are included in that offer. I'd didn't find out that the discount did not apply until I was checking out. Disappointing to put it mildly!

This shoe is excellent. It is wide in the front. The shoe is good for those who have issues of the toes and feet. It also has Velcro closure which makes putting on and taking off easy. The Velcro straps are stiff when new, but soften up after several days of wearing shoe. Lastly, the shoe looks nice. Got the black color. Even though these are sneakers, they look dressy enough to wear with business pants. They also look great with jeans and joggers!

Best shoes for exercise walking and everyday wear. All day comfort. Very durable.

I've been wearing this model in a 4E for years, and am so upset that the toe box shape has changed. The most recent pair I bought are narrower and pinch my toes, so I can no longer wear these shoes that I've relied on. It's already difficult enough to find shoes in a 4E width, and I need the added stability that this shoe offers because of my leg issues. New Balance quality has gone downhill, and the decision to make what is supposed to be a WIDE shoe narrower, baffles me. -Signed, A former customer

The product description says: "These shoes were proudly assembled in our U.S. factories by our more than 1,200 U.S. workers. Since the domestic value is less than 70%, we have labeled them "Assembled in the USA."" The tongue label says "Made in Vietnam". I have only worn New Balance sneakers that were made or assembled in the U.S. for the past 35 years. The #1 reason I bought these (as I have bought 577 for years) is for this reason. They were put back in the box and will be returned immediately.

These are nice. They run narrowish, so we exchanged for the wide. Good quality.

This was a present for my brother in-law who has arthritis of his hands and cannot tie shoes very well. These shoes are well made, attractive and have the hook/loop feature which is excellent.
