Love the shoe. but wasn't ready to have them take as long to get used to and break in as much as they need to. they are a little more stiff than I would have expected. The patton Pro may be a little bit more comfortable but I do like the skid free bottom of the XP

I ordered the "brown" espresso color and was very disappointed to find they were virtually black. Also, I am disappointed that Zappos or Dansko has chosen to break these shoes down into Men and Women's sizes. Pointless for me, who is a female that wears a size 42. In fact, it is more difficult to find shoes from my favorite online store: Zappos!

I have not worn this product before and tried the other styles of it and was very disappointed. However, this style with the inner cushioning was very comfortable. I like the oil finish.

This is my first pair of Dansko clogs; they are sturdy shoes and look great! These patent leather clogs are a bit stiff, so that takes some getting used to and they don't let your foot breathe too well. I prefer to wear sport socks with them.

They are not like my last pair but they are still good. I ordered another pair and sent them back. I like the XP support. The other Dansko pair seemed like a lesser quality, shoddy workmanship - especially compared to how Dansko used to make them. The sizing was off too - a bit big. The ones I kept are slightly tight but they should stretch out. I wish I wasn't such a Dansko clog fan - the quality and consistency has definitely gone down hill over the years and the price keeps going up. Wish I could find something comparable. They are still my go to running errand shoes or standing at my desk for long periods of time. They are a bit snug though just below the toe box area. Weird. But I kept them hoping they will break in.

I have many styles of Dansko's, but this was the first pair of Pro XP's that I have purchased. The arch support, for me, I believe was too high. My feet felt strange in them, and after wearing them around the house for a limited amount of time my feet and back began to hurt -- unlike my other Dansko's. Very nice shoe, just not for me.

Received them on time with no hassle. I am an 8.5 shoe size and bought the 39 and they fit perfectly. Slightly heavier than the regular slip on danskos, but give my feet great comfort even after 12h days.

Relief for a a Teacher's Tired Feet, October 20, 2012. As a teacher, coach, lunchroom monitor and mom it seems like I am constantly on my feet. I'm a self-professed tennis shoe kind of gal, but am frustrated with how little time they really last. For this reason I began looking for alternate options. A couple of my RN girlfriends suggested I try Danskos. I ordered them in the Pro XP version, for the increased cushioning, in the black patent leather. They arrived this morning. I tried them on both barefoot and with socks, I like them better with socks. They are a little bit snug across the instep and a bit loose in the heel. They are not too heavy. So far they're pretty good. I'll post another review after wearing them for a couple weeks.

I'm used to wearing Dansko Professionals and really like the weight of them. So, I didn't really care for this Pro XP, which is a much lighter shoe, although the rubber sole is a plus.

I was leery of the espresso color as I wasn't sure if it would go well with everything but it does! Espresso the exact color of a coffee bean (imagine that!) and with the black sole, this shade goes well with black pants and blue jeans alike. I find the regular Dansko insole comfy so the XP's super squishy insole is just an added bonus. The only thing about the XP that I find a tad misleading is the statement that the XP insoles can be removed to accommodate a custom ortho. While it's true, you can use your own insole, the Dansko arch support is mostly in the construction of the actual shoe, likely making your own insole a redundancy. My own insole (a $150, Dr.-fitted custom) does not work at all with this shoe. Thankfully, Dansko shoes offer enough support straight out of the box - custom insoles are not necessary.

I was very disappointed in my clogs. The color shown (burnished whiskey) is much lighter and orangy than the buster brown color I was sent. Also the shoes run small. But I have had Dansko clogs in the past and loved them.

These are comfortable shoes, but after just a few wearings, the toe area on both shoes is looking a little worn and the color was not very saturated to start with.

These were pretty great at first but after a couple of months (twice a week I work 12 hours a day), my back has started to really kill me. I bought the Black lace pattern of the Pro XPs but the pattern is really ugly. It looks subtle on the site, but is rather crude in person. It looks like a big stamp was pressed onto the shoe. some parts look like they leaked as they were being pressed. Some parts are shiny, other parts are matte. It's a mess. I should have bought the original Danskos in a nice solid color.

I had high expectations for these shoes, but am feeling disappointed. I have worn Dansko clogs for years, and ordered these in the exact same size as the clogs I know and love. They felt tight on the outsides, but I figured they just needed to be worn to stretch a bit. Then, after coming home with sore feet, I compared these to a pair of Dansko Professionals I bought about 8 years ago (before they started manufacturing in China). The new ones are indeed slightly, but noticeably, narrower. I have never worn wide shoes, but I wish I had ordered these in wide and would advise anyone else to do so. Now I have an expensive pair of uncomfortable shoes. I'll keep wearing them and hoping they stretch and soften.

I really love the look of this clog but this is my second attempt to find the right (comfortable) size and I've failed again. This is probably my 30th pair of Dansko clogs and the only style in which I've not been happy with the fit, so perhaps pro xp is just not for me. Must say, though...Zappos was great and super fast to ship and arrive!

These run longer than the regular professionals and have a longer to bed that makes my feet look much bigger than they are. They are super comfy, but I'm not a fan of the style. I'm returning.

Too tight in top of the foot. I have had several pair of these, over the years, and lately, you just never know if they'll fit or not. Wish they'd stop playing with a good thing.

I was so hoping these shoes would be what I needed. I'm on my feet all day and do a lot of walking. I'm so tired of wearing tennis shoes and I would like to have something that is a little more stylish and has better arch support. Unfortunately these shoes are very uncomfortable for me. I have very long and narrow feet 10-10 1/2 womens and these shoes are so wide and bulky.They also were to small lengthwise. I would then normally order the next larger size but My heel lifts out completely of the shoe now and that top part of the shoe is what holds and catches my foot in the shoe and it's very stiff and uncomfortable it actually hurts..I can't imagine how much worse it would be if I went to the next larger shoe. As far as how it looks.. Its a very boxy shoe and not attractive and makes my feet look larger and bulkier which is not what I wanted and is the opposite of what I was looking for. They seem to have good arch support but since I haven't really started wearing them I can't say they will hold up. I'm going to have to return them because they just aren't going to work for me. I'm truly disappointed because I really wanted them to be what I was looking for. Thank god for Zappos awesome return policy.

I heard rave reviews about these from an article and a friend. She said they're worth the money for the amazing support and that she never is sore from standing in these all day. I have back and foot issues (lower back pain and flat feet--plantar fascitis) so I was eager for relief and impressed by the Podiatrist recommendations. The first pair I got were too big (I'm normally a 7.5 but the 7.5-8 size was too big by far) so I exchanged for the size down. I was amazed at how good they were for my back--very instant relief. However, after a few hours they pinched my outer foot near the pinkie toe on both sides and bruised the area... and they made me walk a little funny. I also wasn't a fan of the way they looked on. They are fairly heavy and stiff due to the leather. I returned them but didn't give up on Dansko. I ordered a pair of the Eartha style which I find much more appealing style-wise and I'm delighted by the fit on those as well. I will definitely buy more Dansko shoes going forward, but the XP clog didn't work for me.

I thought that I would love these but was surprised that I did not. It was nice to have the non-skid bottoms and I wish that they had them on every Dansko shoe. What I did not like was the fit. It pinched my upper foot and did not feel right. I was having pain while wearing them so I returned for a refund. I am not a fan of this style and they did not fit the way the other Danksos do.

I absolutely love these shoes however I have one complaint. The Chestnut color wore off on the top of these shoes after just one wearing. I returned them and am having a bit better luck with the second pair but I can tell that the color will not last more than one season. Very disappointed in this considering how comfortable the shoes are. I have these in Chestnut vine and Plum vine.

Never worn Dansko before, but was advised to try them for their support. Unfortunately I found them sooo uncomfortable! Too hard at the toes and sides, and big in the heel.

Love the color, but they didn't fit! They are way too narrow for my feet even though they are the same size all of my Danskos are. I plan on trying to stretch them out and hopefully I can get some use out of them.

This is a very comfortable shoe, heavier than the stapled clogs but worth it for the padding. Fits very well. I am returning these clogs solely because the red ones are a shiny snake-like color and texture. The shininess is not apparent on my screen, but it is a major detriment. Tacky. My old (less comfortable) red ones will have to do until Dansko comes to its senses.
