Great shoe and unlike other styles of Dansko, there is truly no "Break in period". Very comfortable from the get go and last an entire 12 hour shift. Great quality as always, lighter weight and worth every penny!

What a great shoe! I normally wear a size 7.5-8 and ordered a size 38 and 37. The 38 was just a little too roomy around the heel; the 37 kept my foot more secure while still comfortable. I bought these for nursing clinical and keep my feet happy all day long! I would recommend these to any one on their feet for long periods of time. They are truly slip resistant and my scrub pants hang nicely over them. Definitely worth the investment!

This is my first pair of Danskos. I have to say, I bought them purely for comfort, not style. I bought the patent leather so they would look a bit more dressy for work. They are super comfortable, and had no break in time. The only issue I had was a bit of pain on the bone on the top of my foot over my arch. Just getting used to the Dankso fit, I suppose. So, they are cuter than I expected, but definitely not what I would consider fashion forward. Regardless, they are comfy and I'm keeping them! I also saw a brown pair with jeans and they looked great, so I may consider a second pair!

I have worn Dansko Pro clogs for years. My work keeps me on my feet and the Dansko Professionals were great. I wore out my old pair and looked to replace them with the same. I noted that the Pro XP is a lighter clog and decided to try it. Hurray! It is even better than the Pro!! Better cushioning too. I wear a 6.5B and the 36 fit perfectly. The only minus is the leather finish/color, it's not as black and shiny as my old Pro pair.

Even more comfortable than the original Dansko Professional line. These XPs are lightweight and the removable insoles are great. Provides great arch support.

I've worn Dansko clogs for many years for work. I love the Dansko Pro XP - the most comfortable clog I've ever worn!

5 stars is not a high enough rating for this shoe! I work 10 hours standing on a concrete floor and my feet never hurt once. On the first day with these, I expected to just wear them for 1/2 day and then switch to my old shoes...never happened. Put them on straight out of the box and wore them all day without a single ache or pain. I have plantar fasciitis and usually wear orthotics, but no need with the ProXP! I love these shoes! I wear an 8 US and purchased a 38 in these...perfect fit.

I LOVE these! I work 10-12 hr shifts on hard floors, and these get me through. I think they run *slightly* larger than the regular Dansko Professional. In those, I needed a wide, but with these, the average width worked fine. The foot bed is provides more cushioning, and the heel was ever so slightly lower than the heel in the Professional. I would recommend the paying the extra $20 for these compared to the Professional. As always, quick delivery.

Great support & a classic color. Received many compliments on the color! I ordered a regular width & had wished I ordered the wider option. I had to use a shoe horse to make them wider, so I recommend you order a size up and wide. Other than that they are great.

On any given day I will praise Dansko's to no end, but not today with the Professional XPs. I had high hope for these as the original Professionals are so wonderful for my feet and legs after 12-16 hour shifts. I tried a 40 in the XPs initially, the same size I wear in the original Professionals, but when I got them, I could fit my whole index finger behind my heal plus some wiggle room! Weird! So I exchanged them for a size 39, guessing that the XPs sized a bit differently. I got the 39s and was again disappointed in my search as they were too small. I was perplexed. I even hunted down a nurse at work that I knew had a pair of XPs. To my surprise, her's were a size 40 and they fit me way better than the 39's and weren't nearly as big as the 40's I had got sent to me. At this point, I was thinking "Ok, third time better be a charm" and I exchanged the 39's ANOTHER time for a size 40, telling Zappos that I swear the first pair of 40's that I had were mis-sized. And kuddos to Zappos for be so accepting of all my exchanges/returns! Love that about them!! However, I just don't think the XPs are for me. I have tried them for a day around my house & all I am doing is trying to talk myself into them. I shouldn't have to be doing that. I just don't think they fit ME as well as my original Professionals. Which makes me sad because I was looking forward to the lighter weight and the slip resistance. I guess its back to the originals for me.

I like the regular Dansko Professional better. These seem like they make my feet hot, and they aren't that cushy. They are okay, but not worth the extra money, and not my favorite.

I have a closet of full of Dansko professional clogs because they are pretty much all I wear. I have a size 9.5 foot, but due to the geometry of my foot and the length of my arch, I wear a 41 Narrow in Dansko professional clogs. Since the foot bed is the same in a narrow or a regular and the only difference is in the amount of leather over the top of the foot, I can also wear a regular 41 with an extra thicker insole in it. The XP fits differently though. It seems to be just slightly larger than a regular Dansko professional clog - probably because they allowed for the extra padding in the insole. As a result, I had to size down to a 40 and they fit great without any extra insoles from me. I don't notice a whole lot of difference in comfort between a regular professional clog with my usual added insole and the XP variety without the added insole, so I can say it is nice to be able to buy the XP variety and not have to make any adjustments. I can't say I prefer one over the other, so this just opened up a whole lot more color options for me.

I love these shoes! It took wearing them for a shift or two to break in the padding on the top, but they are so much more comfortable than regular Danskos. And the additional traction on the soles is great for the changing weather in Montana!

I've been wearing my new Danskos almost every day because I've heard that it takes a few weeks to break them in. I got the wide width to accommodate my bunions, but these still felt snug. I think that it will need an additional week or two to truly be comfortable, because at the end of the day my bunions burn a little from rubbing. As far as support, these are top notch. Even though my bunions hurt a little bit, the fatigue I'd normally feel after a day on my feet has greatly improved. Over all, I'd give these a solid 4 stars...I'd up it to 5 if they end up stretching at the bunion area!

Waited until these were on sale, wanted to love them. Color and texture is great, but these XP Pro seem much narrower than the basic Professional.

I love the color and the pattern. I'm sorry that the leather is stiff so it hurts my hammer toes. I wish I could wear them.

Bought these for my wife, whose a PA student in rotations, recommended to her by others in the field. She has a history of foot problems and typically wears custom orthotics. She quickly came to love these shoes, and feels very comfortable in them. Apparently you're supposed to buy them a little large (where you can slip a finger behind your heel).

While I have several pairs of Danskos, they have been flats or clogs and I always wore a size 39. This was my first attempt at wearing the Professional style. I found the size 39 too loose, but not enough so that a 38 would not be too tight. I had ordered the blacked, tooled style, which I think is more attractive than the plain leathers. I did think the shoe was too clunky for the style pant I wear most often: straight legged, not cropped. Still, I was disappointed that I had to return them, knowing the next size down would be too small.

This is my 5th pair of Dansko clogs. With all the previous pairs I've taken them out of the box, put them on, worn them without any breaking-in time. Wonderful comfort immediately and even better as time passed. I read many reviews regarding the XPs. I ordered the Ruby Anaconda XP clogs -- love the style and color! (They match my new eyeglasses except the clogs don't have sparklies.) I took the clogs out of the box, put them on. They felt tight across the foot. I've worn them every day for 2 weeks. They have yet to loosen up. For the first time wearing Dansko clogs my feet hurt after a few hours. I just had a live chat with "Jake T." who is sending me a return label. He was very helpful. Even though the Wide version of the Ruby Anaconda clogs is out of stock, he's going to add my email to the Notify Me list so I can be notified when they're restocked. Hurry, hurry! I can barely wait to get the new pair!

I got one pair of patent XPS and one pair of oiled leather but I had to size up both pairs. I wear a 9 WW (EEE) and the 41 wide was a tight squeeze width-wise. All four pairs that I got had noticeably different widths to each shoe in the pair, which in one pair worked for me as I have one slightly wider foot, but the other pair has taken longer to break in. I tried stretching the narrower shoe with ice but the blow dryer method worked better on the leather. Now that they are more broken in they are really comfotrable, they do need to grab your feet at the arch or they would fall off, so a certain tightness works in the shoe's favor. They seem to be high quality and the base is nice and wide giving a secure footing despite their height. I usually wear Birkenstocks in summer and boots in winter, these are a very decent work appropriate alternative, cute with long socks and go equally well with trousers and skirts! After initial break-in I am very pleased with the investment.

I really appreciate a shoe that has enough arch support for me right out of the box. I have to use an orthotic in most shoes to keep plantar fasciitis pain at bay. This is my second pair of Pro XP Professionals. The first pair I bought in black Cabrio, and they still look as good as new over a year later. The brown Espresso Pull-Up I have only had one month, and already I see scuffs on the uppers at the toe and heel of both shoes. The brown pair feels just as good as the black pair, but after the great performance of my black pair, I'm disappointed that the brown are showing wear so quickly. It must be the difference in finish on the leather, but I expected better from Dansko and subtracted one star for the less durable finish.

I like them better than I thought I would, I wanted the richer, darker red leather, but these are kind of neat and great in the snow!

This shoe was very narrow even though I ordered wide. I expected better arch support. Of course I expected Dansko to be stable and non-conforming to the feet. They are being returned.

Good fit. My back feels so much better. The only negative would be that my shoes smell very bad. This never happened to me before with any other shoes before or after.
