I bought locally today (first pair), but not the Pro XP. Now I wish I had. I have not tried them out yet, but hopefully tomorrow will let me know how they feel when I will be on my feet most of the day. I was concerned with the size. The expert shoe salesman, Board Certified Pedorthist, OST, said if my toes are touching at the end, I shouldn't get those as my toes will hurt, so I elected to go a size up from what I normally wear. The size numbers are confusing. I wear a 9½ or 10 and #40 should have been my size, but he said to go with the #41 (10 1/2 to 11) which brings my toe within ½" to the end of the shoe. He said they should have an up and down give in the heel. Maybe after my feet swell, they will be tighter.

These didn't work for me. At all. I have worn Dansko Professionals for twenty years- nearly daily for work for the last decade. The XP seemed like a great step up. I'll admit that the footbed is softer and more comfortable. However, the shoe itself runs wide. I've worn a 38 forEVER in Dansko. The XP was huge. I then tried the 37. Not surprisingly, it was tight in some places but still too wide across the instep and the heel. I'm sticking with the regular ole Professional.

I wanted to love the XP Pro but they did not love me. I have high arches and wear 6.5 US and 37 Euro. The XP Pro were a bit too short, and a bit too wide in the toe box. They just did not fit my foot shape. I was intrigued by the flex sole and extra cushion, but exchanged them for the tried and true regular Professional Dansko, also size 37, which fit me fine.

I normally love Danskos, but for some reason these are really, really uncomfortable for me. They seem smaller through the ball of the foot and the instep, and I did not walk even ten feet before I took them off. I don't know if this particular pair is mis-sized, or what, but I will need to return them.

I bought these after having the regular Professional style for 3 years but the XP's are a much tighter fit around the top of the foot and it has a smaller toe box. My heels and toes would hurt after wearing them. I ordered the same size as my other pair. I tried talking myself into keeping them, but for the price, had to return them. I think I will go back to the professional style.

I have been wearing Dansko clogs for more than 10 years. I always wear the same size. They have always been the most comfortable shoes. This pair was the most painful pair of shoes. They seemed to be too narrow even though they were the same size that I always buy. They were stiffer than other pairs that I have. The whole experience of these shoes was bad. I could not wait to take them off. The color and style was cute.

First, If you a Dansko wearer, this shoe fits a bit differently. The arch support is still great, but the supporting rise is more toward the center of the foot. The footbed is softer, which is nice for long days on your feet, but the heel cup seems a bit too low. The quality of this shoe is far below older Dansko products. After wearing for only a couple of weeks the design on the toes of the shoes have completely worn off. Dansko quality is not what it once was, but this is still an okay shoe for working on your feet.

These Danskos look really nice, but they are very stiff. I have a high instep and they were very difficult to get on/off. I might have kept them if the heel wasn't so loose in addition to the tight fit and inflexibility. They would probably loosen up with wear - I don't know I sent them back.

Sizing is off, tried 2 different pairs and one shoe seems bigger than the other, have owned other dansko clogs and never had a problem. This shoe does seem softer with the gel insert compared to the original model but it does not seem lighter as stated in the description.

I have 7 pair of Dansko clogs, and have found these to be the most uncomfortable of the lot. It is flatter across the top of my foot, and I have very narrow feet with a good arch. My feet are much more tired at the end of the day than with any of my other Danskos. I am on my feet in the lab much of the day, and love my Danskos in general - just not this design. I also can't get used to the noise they make; sounds like I am wearing blocks on my feet!

Received shipment swiftly! I've been wearing Danskos for 10 years, and this is my first XP pair. The insole is built up so it was tight across the top of my foot. Yes, plenty of toe & heel room. The pattern online looks like flowers, but up close it looks digitalized and barely recognizable as flowers. I'm really disappointed as I've been eying up these shoes for months.

I have a pair of Danskos that I wear casually and LOVE them. I ordered a pair for clinical rotation where I am on my feel a lot in a hospital. These, however are way too big. Unfortunately, they don't make them smaller, so they are going back with no exchange. I'm not sure why they fit so differently than my other pair - I know they are supposed to be a little big, however my foot doesn't even stay in them. Unhappy with the shoe, but love Zappos.

This shoe seems narrower than the pair of Dansko Professional that I've worn out. It also has a slightly more fitted look and shape on the outside. Nice that it's more cushioned inside but I am sending back since it doesn't work as well for my wider feet.

The leather on these is textured. I have worn these daily for two weeks, as I am a nurse, to break them in. Today I noticed that the one of the shoes has a small piece of the leather that has lifted off the top. I have no idea how this may have happened and am disapointed because I consider these shoes an investment. Now the shoes have a noticable white patch where the leather lifted.

I have worn Dansko professional clogs for 15 years, all the way back to the superbly-comfortable Dansko originals made in Denmark, and then in Poland. Nothing available now from Dansko can compare to the comfort of those originals. I currently have two pair of Dansko professional stapled clogs, made in China, which have never been comfortable although I've been able to wear them for short periods of time. These new Dankso XP's are an improvement in comfort over my current China-made Dansko professional clogs; the sizing, however, may not work for me. I've always worn size 39 but -- like the Chinese ones I currently am wearing, the XP's seem slightly too short and so I'm returning them for a size 40, which I'm guessing may be too large.

I normally wear a 6 1/2 to 7 in ordinary shoes and bought these in a 37, they felt too small, and so are going back. I know it sounds weird, but they weren't as cute as I thought they would be either, and I love clogs! They seemed narrow to me. I'll go back to regular Dansko Professionals.

I love Danskos. It is just about the only brand I wear. Unfortunately, these beautiful shoes were too narrow. Both left and right shoes felt like I had a needle piercing the outside edge of my foot at the widest point. Disappointed, since they are so pretty, I will have to return them.

After reading the reviews on here I was very excited to order a pair of the Pro XP. I will be wearing the original Dansko's. The band around the top which goes over your foot just below your ankle kills me. I have not been able to get it to break-in. The rest of the shoe has stretched to the point that I would like to wear heavier socks...but then the top hurts to beat all. It may be the build of my foot, so give them a try. The rest of the shoe is remarkable.

Was so disappointed in this shoe. The color is beautiful, but from the other reviews expected the sole of these to be softer then other Dansko shoes but found these harder than any I have ever tried before. I was really hoping for the sole of these to be softer, and cushy, but have to send them back because they are way too hard, and they also run narrow compared to other Danskos, which I have many pairs. Have to say lately Crocs have been more comfortable then Dansko. Have to say, never have to worry about trying a shoe when buying from Zappos Their return policy rocks, and so easy, so I will go back and look for something else, thank you Zappos.

One of my feet is slightly different shape than the other due to bunions. Shoe was great on one foot, absolutely killed the other foot because the leather is way too hard to 'break in.' Had to return them.

I purchased danskoXP about 2 weeks ago. My first Dansko, I really like them, but the sole on the heel is wearing off already, they have the slip resistant sole.

These have a different fit than the regular Dansko pro. I had to order a half size smaller and they seem a little narrower and stiffer. I guess they need more breaking in. This wasn't necessary with my previous four pairs of Dansko clogs.

Everything about these shoes was wonderful. The size was perfect. The style was attractive. The arch support was great. They wore well right out of the shoebox with no rubbing or blisters. All the positive reports were true. Then they began to be coated with a fine opaque film. An inquiry through Zappos to Dansko indicated this was because the oil on the leather emulsified in cold weather and it could just be rubbed off. I very reluctantly returned them after the brown shoes became gray for the third time...but I'm still longing for them.

I'm a flight attendant, and have relied on regular Dansko Pros for years. Thought I'd upgrade to the XP, and I'm kind of sorry I did. Never had a single issue with comfort with the old ones, but these felt narrower and the pressure on the widest part of my feet really had my feet hurting at the end of a 14-hour day. Giving them a 'meh" rating, because I'm sure they'll stretch a bit over time. I wanted the unrivaled comfort I've come to expect from Dansko from the get-go, though.

Being a healthcare professional, I decided to give shoes a try. I am an underpronator (supinator) with high arches and this shoes did not work for me. Although, they have a cushion insole the bottom of my feet were hurting terribly by the end of the day. After the third day, my knees were hurting and I had pins and needle pain in my legs.
