After two failed attempts at wearing flats while doing volunteer work at the hospital (I wound up with the worst blisters that I have ever had!), I decided to order these shoes in hopes that I could find something comfortable on my feet to walk around in. My order arrived yesterday. I wear a size 10 in shoes and bought the same size. They were way too small. I had to essentially force my feet into these. I have ordered the next size up but am not sure if even that will be enough. I will update once the new ones come in! As always, I love Zappos' customer service, free shipping, and quick shipping.

Usually love danskos for working all day long, but these seemed very heavy at the end of the day. Perhaps the cushioning is what I should not have, as the hard soles have been wonderful.

I love Dansko! Was buying to replace my 8 year old black patton pair. This were such a disappointment! The patton has wrinkles in it and the XP sole makes them tight. Unfortunately will be sending back. Not sure what I will do now...

The shoes are too tight...though they are the size I wear, they are too tight and uncomfortable. I bought them because they are supposed to be so comfortable, but these are terribly disappointing.

I bought these shoes because I was in desperate need for comfortable non slip work shoes. All the reviews were 5 stars so I figured you get what you pay for and coughed up the money. These shoes are okay, not great. The non slip is not as good as other brands I have had and their comfort is not a 5. Took weeks of wearing every day to break in and even after I would say they are okay at best.

Wished I had listened, these shoes are VERY NARROW and WAY TOO TIGHT. I wore them once and i still have sores on my feet. Going back.

Terrible shoe. I think that it actually made my feet swell after wearing them for just an hour. They stiff and extremely heavy. It was like wearing wooden shoes. They also do not work well with orthotics or inserts. I am returning them ASAP!

I always wear a size 8 1/2, They have no half sizes and the 39 is too big on me. Also they hurt the bottom of my insole when I tried them on. So I really need to return them. Sorry.

I bought these at the recommendation for co-workers. I ordered a 38 according to the sizing chart, they were too small so I ordered the 39 and they were on the large size, but fit better wearing 2 pairs of socks. However, when I wore them at work they moved too much on my feet, causing me to fall and injuring myself. Needless to say I am back to the drawing board, looking for the perfect pair of nursing shoes for me.

I had heard great things about these shoes from a friend of mine. When I heard they came in wide, I had to try them. They are very tight where the top band meets my feet. The width was just "okay", a little snug and definitely not how they fit my friend. I can never wear these 2 days in a row because my feet are sore and almost feel bruised after wearing them for a day. If I could return them, I would have, but didn't realize how uncomfortable they were until walking around with them for 2 days. Now I feel "stuck" with them and am considering taking them to a shoe repair place to see if they can stretch them out for me a little bit so they will be more tolerable. I regret buying these shoes.

Dansko has been my favorite daily wear shoe for many, many years, so thought I'd try the new XP. Sadly it did not fit the same. The shoe seemed narrower and uncomfortable across the toes. I'll return to the original Dansko.

I know these are very popular with professionals on their feet all day so I expected comfort, but the sole had no bend in it at all and the noise I made walking on a wood floor was loud. I saw in comments on various Dansko clogs about breaking in time, but I could not imagine wearing these until they did because I do not think that they would ever get to flexible at all so I sent them back. That was disappointing, as they felt good otherwise.

These are amazingly comfortable shoes and so fashionable, however, I am disappointed in the finish. I have only wore these about a dozen times and the finish on the toes has completely wore off. I gave the shoe a rating overall of "2" only because of the above problem.

I live in Dansko clogs every day and have for 15 years. These shoes initially feel very soft under the foot and more so than the non-XP clogs. Unfortunately, the arch support is also more soft and much less supportive than normal Dansko clogs. These didn't work for me.

I've had Danskos before and loved them. I ordered my usual size and these were small in the toe and slipped off my heels in the back. Sending them back, sadly, because I thought they would be wonderful like my last pair.

I have been a loyal Dansko Professional clog wearer for more than 10 years as an ER nurse. The Pro XP however does not compare. I found it very uncomfortable, the arches hit unevenly from the left to right foot and they cause my feet to sweat. I tried two different pairs of the Pro XP, rotating with my other Dansko Professional clogs throughout the work week. My feet hurt at the end of a shift. I literally threw them away.

These shoes are not at all what i expected after reading all of the reviews before purchasing them! I am a medical sales representative, in and out of hospitals everyday, on my feet all day and footwear is beyond important. I searched for new medical clogs and came across these, thinking they were the answer even though they were a bit out of my price range, after reading the reviews, I splurged for them. What a big mistake! There is not only a huge breaking in time but now I cannot even wear them because of a quarter size blister that they leave on the side of my feet everyday. So, I am stuck with an expensive pair of good looking shiny clogs that I cannot wear or return since I have worn them. I am reverting back to my old shoes, leaving me back to square one, down and out. What a disappointment! They are not worth the money!

I purchased my Danskos about a month ago - still not used to them It is very difficult to make it through a work day. Not worth the price I paid.

I haven't purchased Dansko in a few years. I became a Sanita Girl. I just purchased several Dansko shoes, including this one. Back they go. This shoe has no arch support in one shoe, and moderate support in the other shoe! Also, the trim, where the it meets on top of the shoe, rubs my foot. No more Danskos for me. The quality has become poor.

I ordered these after reading excessive great reviews on them, my mom had a pair and talked them up...however, I was not so happy with them right off, they bruised my foot along the top and I got them a half size bigger like recommended and turned my ankle several times the first time I wore them. I kept them and wear them hoping they'll break in to some super shoes, but overall I am bummed I spent this much and they aren't what I'd hoped for.

I have had multiple pairs of Dansko Professionals for years--they are awesome for my job which requires me stand much of the day. After reading reviews, I decided to try the XP. The insole is definitely more comfortable and softer than the Pros, making both standing and walking a pleasure. However, with any prolonged use, my feet got unbearably hot and sweaty. I gave it a good try, but eventually had to ditch the cushy insole and put other insoles in. I'm going back to the standard Professional.

Unfortunately these shoes really hurt my feet the first time I wore them. At the end of my shift I could hardly walk. Thought maybe I just needed to break it in, so after few days I wore them for few hours during work, but then I noticed every time I wore them my knees started to hurt so I just gave up. I can't wear them.

I'm returning the Pro XP because it's too tight, even though it's a size 40 and I have a dozen pairs of Dansko clogs in size 40 that fit just fine. It feels too snug both in the toe and in the width.

I'm so disappointed. I work 10 hours shifts in retail so these are getting some very hard wear very fast. The toe box was too narrow, so I had to take them in and have them stretched. That solved that issue. Second issue is the dye. I literally have black toes after 100+ hours of wear. The dye keeps staining my toes through socks. The arch support is top notch, but these just put too much pressure on my toes (after stretching - this isn't a width issue), about 1/2 way through my shift the toes start hurting, a stabbing needle like pain. :( The leather is also scuffing up very quickly. I'm up and down from my knees on a regular basis and the toes are looking beat up already.
