This is my eighth pair of Dansko's, but first pair of Pro XP. I have to say they are even better than the regular Dansko's (hard to believe, I know!). The bottom of the shoe is rubber-soled, and slip resistant, which also causes the shoe to 'sound' different when it hits the floor. It has a softer effect than the regular Dansko, and doesn't sound like you are dragging your feet. The inside sole is so much softer than the regular Dansko. Feels like your foot has so much more cushion, but yet receives the same support as Dansko is so famous for. I will be purchasing the Pro XP in the future. I just wish Zappos had more color options in this shoe!

These shoes saved my feet in Paris. I walked 15 miles in them one day. I also wore them on the flight to and from Paris and even with flight-related foot swelling, they still fit and still kept me going. The toe box is roomy, but is contoured so that if your slacks are long enough, they aren't too cloggy/clunky looking. I have plantar fasciitis that flares up now and then. I can wear these shoes without my orthotics and still make it through the day without pain. I love them and will always have a pair.

I did not purchase my pro XP Danskos from Zappos but they are great shoes! I did not experience any uncomfortable break in time like with the traditional Dansko shoes. These are like wearing your favorite tennis shoes to work a 12 hour shift.

I purchased these about 2 weeks ago on the advice of a co worker. I love wearing clogs but have been unable to wear the Dansko brand in the past. My co worker advised me to try the Pro XP as she had several pairs of Dansko clogs and found the Pro XP model to be much easier to break in and decidedly more comfortable. I am so glad I purchased these! I was expecting that it would take 2-3 weeks to break them in, but after wearing them every other day for one week I was able to begin wearing them on a daily basis. The difference between these and the other Dansko clogs I tried and returned before is amazing! I honestly don't know why they make the others. The increased comfort is well worth the small increase in cost! Dansko, please make the Pro XP model in more colors and patterns.

Awesome shoe! I bought these from another online retailer because they have more colors and styles available in the ProXP. I wear them to work as a teacher and am on my feet all day. They are much softer than the original, and more flexible. Regular Dansko Professional clogs took a few weeks to break in with the tightness over the in-step, but these ProXP's are comfortable from the start. These shoes are also much lighter than the old ones. Worth the extra money. Thanks Dansko!

Love 'em! I'm a nurse who works 12 hour shifts and my feet don't hurt after long days.The Pro XP is even more comfortable than the Professional. Well worth the extra few dollars. Great arch support and no squished toes. I just bought another pair in black to wear casually with jeans.

Wow! At first, I thought that the shoes might be a bit large...Size: 35. But then I spoke with a wonderful Zappos agent who explained that the shoes are made to be a bit big. Further, that I should be able to vertically, partially insert my pinky finger in the space between my heel and that of the shoe. The rocker bottom forces the foot forward to relieve pressure from the tibia. Now, I understand why these shoes are made for nurses, cashiers, flight attendants and anyone who is on their feet all day. I'm hoping to invest in a pair for my husband. As a side note, I had purchased another brand from Zappos and their return policy is as stated! No hassle, no question and no fee. They provided the shipping label and all I had to do was drop off the package at a UPS store, or call UPS for a pick up! Simply amazing!

These are very comfortable shoes with awesome arch support. They are highly recommended. The shoes may run a bit large as I am generally 8½ but the size 39 (8½-9) seems a little too big allowing me to squeeze in a finger at the heel. Ordering down a size may be a better idea.

I really wanted to love the Pro XP but unfortunately I had to send them back. I currently own 4 pairs of the original clog and wanted to try a more comfortable/softer footbed since I have now been diagnosed with arthritis on my toes. After trying the Pro XP I did find that the footbed was a little more comfortable but started to have heel pain after wearing them around the house. Also, I did not find that the shoe was any lighter. It did feel true to size and width and had the same great arch support as the original clog. Overall, the shoe was more comfortable but after having experienced heel pain I couldn't keep them. Zappos' customer service was excellent as always! For those of you who love the XP but would like an even softer footbed, I found that the Walking Company has softer/gel-like footbed inserts to replace the ones the XPs come with. You can order the inserts online through the Walking Company or go to the store.

I wear these shoes at work (I'm a nurse, on my feet a lot, usually walk about 4-5 miles/8 hour shift). Comfort is my first priority, but when I also get a shoe that LOOKS so cool, I have people threatening (in humor) to steal the, what's the down side? These shoes are great! I have flat feet and peripheral neuropathy, and never experience a moment's discomfort wearing these shoes. They are amazing!

I have wide feet, I have always worn Birkenstocks until I developed plantar fasciitis. I was told to try out Danskos. Oh my! I can walk again. These shoes work great and I strong recommend if you are looking for a comfortable shoe for that painful heel.

Another routine purchase of Danskos for my wife. She is in a profession where she is on her feet all day, and Danskos are the only shoes she will wear. Very sturdy construction, so you do not HAVE to buy them that often, unless you want a stable of different colors/patterns. Full grain leather for strength and custom-fit comfort, and a well-cushioned insole. My wife looks great in clogs (she might see this!), so no problems in the style area. If you need a dependable work shoe, these shoes pay for themselves in foot-relief.

I purchased the Vintage Floral Leather XP Pro. This is the best Dansko shoe that I have bought so far (I own several pairs). I have always purchased the Pro line for better arch support, but the XP line goes one step further in comfort. It is a beautiful shoe as well. The lovely floral print leather is actually engraved for an added bonus. I wear a size 8 shoe size and I always order a size 39 for the best fit for my foot. I like to wear a slightly thicker sock for extra comfort. I also love the VIP Zappos service with next day delivery. It makes me a happy customer!

This is my first pair of Dansko's and I chose the Dansko Pro XL based on so many excellent reviews. Now I can see why! I normally wear a size 8 and went with the 38. But, I also have a high arch and they fit tight high up on my foot. So, customer service worked expertly with me and we went with the next size, 39. The exchange was effortless! She emailed me a return label so I could drop them at UPS, then the next day I received the new pair in the mail! I have never dealt with a company that made online shopping so easy, with the customer's needs first! Thank you! I look forward to my new Dansko Pro XL's! I have already recommended Zappos to friends today!

I wear a 10.5 Medium and found these shoes fit me exactly when I purchased them. They were snug, but comfortable when I had them on my foot. As I have worn them, they have loosened up a little making it easier to put them on and take them off. The arch support is great and the shoes never rubbed or caused blisters. I will buy more of this style in the future.

The very best shoe on the earth you can buy for complete arch support, complete comfort. You will not regret spending the money on a shoe your feet will love. It is like walking on clouds all day!! When trying them on get the size you wear, you will notice the back slips a bit, but that is how these shoes fit, with ton of room in the front. After wearing these for a few weeks, I noticed my feet have become so soft as a result. Thank you Dansko, I plan on buying the Veda Dansko tennis shoe next!

I have been wearing Dansko's for a few years now. I work in a kitchen and I'm always looking for comfortable shoes that can help you withstand long hours on your feet. I liked the Dansko pro but they always felt so hard on my feet, the insoles were rough to walk around on. Standing was fine, and they certainly made my back legs and knees feel good, but I almost gave them up after the pain in my feet after the last 12 hour shift I worked. Shopping around for work shoes comparable to them without the drawbacks though I found these and I am so glad I did. The memory foam insole completely eliminates the issues I had with the regular Dansko pro. I have only been wearing them a week but I have them mostly broken in, they are a bit tighter than the normal 40 I have bought in the regular pros, but Dansko's and their leather has always seemed to stretch so I think they'll be perfect after that. So worth the extra money, this is the perfect work shoe, I won't even try anything else. And every pair of Dansko's I have had have lasted at least a year. You can usually wear them long past their expiration dates without any discomfort.

I've been wearing Dansko Professional clogs for 6 years since suffering a foot injury. In fact, I've been wearing the same pair for 6 years--that's how long they last. This year my clogs were looking a little shabby so I decided to get a new pair. After reading reviews here, I decided to upgrade to the Pro XP. I'm so glad I did! While the clogs look the same on the outside, the inside is much more cushiony and comfy. I just wore them for the first time today, and walked all over a giant Target store and my feet still feel fine. With the old clogs, they were comfortable to stand in, but not so much for extended walking. These feel so much better! Otherwise, looks are the same. My old Professionals had silver staples around the bottom; these have black stitching. At first I thought these were more boring, but now I kind of like the streamlined look.

I purchased these Dansko's to wear at work. I'm an ER nurse and on my feet quite a bit. A few of my coworkers also have these and swear by them, so I thought I would give it a try. I purchased the size according to the size chart. They fit great in the length, width, and toe box, but were very tight across the top of my foot (I have a high arch). I was told they would stretch out as I wore them so I continued to do so without going outside in them. After about 2 weeks, the tops of my feet hurt so badly, I just couldn't stand to wear them anymore. I exchanged them for the next size up, hoping for a better fit and wore those for about 2 weeks as well. They fit great initially (soon stretched nicely across the tops of my feet) but then became so large in the rest of the shoe, that I felt like I was kid wearing his dads shoes for dress up. Sadly, I had to give up on the Dansko brand, but thanks to Zappos AWESOME and easy returns, my Keens are now on the way! Great customer service! :)

I am a first time Dansko's and Zappos costumer, and I would say I am impressed. I took me awhile to order these because I was hesitant about buying shoes without trying them on. I usually wear a size 8.5, so it was hard to determine what size to get. I ordered size 39, and then came in two days. I wasn't used to the heel slip, and they felt big and clunky. I went ahead and ordered size 38, then they arrived at my door in less the 24 hours! I tried those on, and they felt more snug around my feet, less clunky and heavy, but they were just a half inch too small and my toes hurt walking. I wish they're was a 38.5! I ended up just keeping the 39's, because when I wear thick socks, they fit much better! I haven't walked a 12-hour shift in them yet, but they have excellent arch support! I'm also glad I ordered XP's while they were under my budget. Thanks Zappos!

These are the best shoes out there for people who have to be on there feet for long hours. I'm an RN and I work 12 and sometimes 16 hour shifts. These shoes keep my arches supported, and help with my plantar fasciitis. When I get home and take off my shoes, my feet are often sore on the hard floor and I crave my Danskos back!!

This is not my first pair of Dansko shoes and won't be my last. :) I have a high arch which is supported very nicely in these shoes. They are always comfortable right out of the box for me - no breaking in time. I can put them on and know that my feet will feel great even with a long day of running around. As always, Zappos is the best - your service is outstanding! You guys rock !!

I enjoy wearing Danskos. These are definitely more comfortable than the traditional ones however, they rub my pinky toes a bit.

I have worn Danskos at various points through the years and whenever I need to remain on my feet for long periods of time, I don't think twice before grabbing these. If you aren't used to them, it is helpful to know that the fit is a bit loose compared to your normal shoes which might take some getting used to. They have a roomy toe box great for troublesome bunions and the leather molds to your feet with some time making them even better. The Whiskey Burnished Full Grain color is lovely.
